Is it worth going to Osaka Expo? What are the things you must know before coming ? Today I will share with you 12 things you must know before going to Kansai Osaka Expo. Hello everyone, I am “Tesco!” “Japan” minmin The much-anticipated Kansai-Osaka Expo will finally open in mid-April 2025. The scale of Expo is very large. There was a lot of discussion before the opening. I believe everyone must have heard all kinds of Expo news. The positive and negative reviews are very polarized. So what? What is the actual situation? We actually went to the venue of Huanbo at our own expense in the first week to participate in the battle. This time, let us share with you from the perspective of tourists, without using any media welfare angle , how to arrange the most smooth trip to Huanbo and what are the things you must know. This episode is really the essence and lesson of our blood and tears. Please be sure to read the final ticket purchase. It is recommended to purchase tickets online in advance. After the opening, tickets are divided into seven types of tickets . Early bird tickets with discounts are no longer sold. Single admission tickets are divided into weekday tickets, day tickets, night tickets , and special coupons for people with disabilities. There are also children under three years old tickets. Multi-day passes are divided into two types: general pass and summer pass. Our own personal experience is that half a day can never be completed. We strongly recommend that you plan at least two days or more, and you can arrange one day to enter the East Exit. When entering the West Exit on a day , try to line up the venues closer to the exit in a row to save time on moving. After all, the Expo venue is really huge. It is said to be as big as three Disneys. If converted to Tokyo Dome , there are thirty-three Tokyo Domes. In addition, although the venue is also There are same-day tickets for sale , but because there are restrictions on the number of people entering, if you buy them on-site , you may be short-changed and unable to enter. Also, if you purchase physical paper tickets at a Japanese supermarket , remember to go to the designated place to exchange them for tickets with a QR code before entering . You can enter by appointment and lottery. Popular exhibition halls require lottery reservations to enter. After completing the online ticket purchase, you can start your reservation and ticket lottery journey. Except for some venues, in fact, most venues are based on reservation lottery . Reservation is divided into several different stages as follows : Not to mention the lottery two months in advance, the lottery before the day before , and the sorted tickets that can be drawn on the same day. The lottery two months in advance means that you can draw three months to two months before the entry. The result will be known two months before the admission day. The draw seven days in advance is one month before the entry. You can make a reservation up to eight days in advance, and you will know the result seven days before the day of admission . For the day-before-spot tickets , you can check if there are any vacant seats three days before the day before admission, and before nine o’clock on the day before. For the same-day ticket, you can start making reservations ten minutes after the successful admission . If you are very lucky to follow the lottery in the first stage and are lucky enough to be drawn, you can enter with a relatively relaxed mood on the same day because you can see two venues at least with a minimum guarantee. If you add the previous day’s empty ticket and the day’s arrangement ticket, all reservations will be successful. Then you can see at least four venues. No problem. What if you don’t draw beforehand? Don’t worry and don’t be discouraged. In fact, we were not so lucky this time. We didn’t draw except for the previous day tickets. But the same-day tickets just mentioned actually also have some exclusive itinerary secrets. I will share them with you later . Remember to see the final admission . You need to bind the Wanbo ID and the exclusive App. Please be sure to download the Wanbo App in advance because you must show the QR code to enter and follow out of each venue . Well, I personally feel that this app is a pity because apart from the basic screen, the login page is actually directly connected to the official website. That means you will be automatically logged out after a while. It cannot help you remember your account like a normal app , so I hope it can be improved in the future. When entering the running venue, sometimes there is a queue or the network is not good and you are suddenly logged out, and you will be very confused at the moment . So I strongly recommend that you take a screenshot and save it after the QRcode is displayed . For people who are not used to using smartphones, you can print out a screenshot of the QR code in advance . This can save a lot of time. It is also recommended that you familiarize yourself with the App before entering because the page inside is quite complicated and I don’t think it is intuitive. I find it a little troublesome to use it . When it comes to payment, the venue is completely cashless. No matter the vending machines, restaurants or shops around it, cash is not accepted , so please prepare your credit card or add more Suica card PASMO. Electronic payment at ICOCA etc. Next, let’s talk about storage. There are no large lockers in the venue. I believe everyone should have seen the relevant news. Large suitcases cannot be placed or carried in the Wanbo venue. There are only a few small lockers outside the venue . If you bring a large suitcase, you will be charged up to 10,000 yuan for large luggage storage fees. It is really super expensive . Don’t pay this money stupidly. I would suggest that you put your suitcase in Osaka city or in the city first. There are lockers around the station , but I would like to remind everyone that there are limited lockers at nearby stations, so it is actually difficult to accommodate the crowds. If possible, it is best to arrive in Osaka the day before admission . You can also have a good night’s rest the day before and leave your suitcases in a hotel the next day before going out . It is the safest way. In terms of transportation, the entrance is divided into East Gate near Yumesu Station. You need to take the shuttle bus to West Gate. If you want to go to Huanbo, you can use public transportation. And when purchasing tickets, the official website will ask you to choose whether to enter from the East Gate or the West Gate . What is the difference between the two entrances? The East Gate is adjacent to the Yumezu Station of the tram because it is directly connected to the green Osaka. The Metro Chuo Line transportation is very convenient , so I personally feel that there are more people at West Gate , which is the main exit to Huanbo. You need to take a shuttle bus to get there. I personally think that the crowds at West Gate are relatively small , so I highly recommend that you enter from West Gate. However, the shuttle bus to West Gate also has a limit on the number of people. Officials recommend that you buy a bus ticket in advance. One way is 300 yen , but the small disadvantage is that to reserve the bus ticket, you need to download the App KANSAI first . The MaaS app requires people to be in Japan to download it , so it is a little troublesome. I think it may be more suitable for people who like to arrange their itinerary in advance. In addition, it is not recommended that you drive there by yourself because there is no way for ordinary cars to park at East Gate . If you are a physically or mentally handicapped person who needs to drive there, remember to reserve a parking space online in advance. Next, I will talk about the time arrangement. I will divide it into three parts : admission, queue and visit time to introduce to you . In fact, before entering, you need to go through the security check. The approximate queue time is 20 to 40 minutes. The park opens at around 9 o’clock in the morning, and the security check will start around 8:55. I would like to share my personal experience. For the two consecutive days before the opening, we started queuing between 7:30 and 8 o’clock in the morning. We could successfully enter the park around 9:20 and queue up for each venue. Because most popular venues require reservations , it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to scan the QR code from the entrance queue . The venues that do not require reservations depend on the popularity of the venue. There are also a few venues that do not require queuing . It may be mainly based on the day. Next, we will talk about the admission and visiting time. The time required for visiting each venue is actually different. Some are similar to multimedia exhibitions. After entering, the entire performance takes about 10 minutes . Some exhibition halls are organized by staff to form a group. You are required to bring your body into the venue for a guided tour, so it may take anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes. It is recommended that you confirm the approximate duration of the visit to the venue before and after making a reservation , and then calculate the time period to reserve for the next venue. This way, it will be less late to talk about food and drink. Canned and bottled drinks are prohibited in the relevant venue . As mentioned earlier, security checks are required for entry. I think it is similar to the domestic airport. You can bring bottled water, but it needs to be scanned. There are also water dispensers on site that can fill water, so it is recommended that you bring your own water. Alcoholic beverages cannot be brought into the venue. Please be careful. President, don’t worry, because there are all kinds of alcoholic beverages sold in the park . There are not many vending machines in the park , but the price I think is a little more expensive than outside. The price of the drinks is about 200. For your reference, there are quite a lot of food options. I think there are a lot of seats. However, most of the food is a whole meal. If you want to eat a light meal, there are fewer choices. There are only a few convenience stores in the venue , and there is one LA near the East Gate . WSON therefore recommends that if you want rice balls , sandwiches, etc. , you can bring them into the venue from outside. In addition, almost only cold drinks are sold in the park. This is very disturbing to me because Taiwanese or Asians may have the habit of drinking hot drinks. However, you may be afraid of heat stroke in the park , so you can hardly buy hot drinks. It is recommended to bring a hat and a mobile power supply. Please remember to wear good walking shoes. Other recommended things to bring include a water bottle, sunscreen, light rain gear, and Mengzhou. It is actually right on the beach and the sea breeze is very strong. It’s so big that I feel it’s easy to get a headache if it blows for a long time. In addition , there is basically no shelter from wind and rain in the entire park except for the large roof inside the venue , so please remember to be prepared for sun protection. Next, let’s talk about things that cannot be carried. Combustibles, bottles, cans, beverages, cameras, and single legs. Tripods , selfie sticks, aerial cameras , and skateboards are not allowed. In addition, because there are many wooden buildings in the park , they are basically non-smoking. However, there are still smoking areas at the entrance, so smokers may have to be mentally prepared. Next, I would like to remind everyone to do a good job in battery management of mobile phones . Please keep your mobile phones charged and receive good signals at all times , and make full use of the screenshot function . It is also highly recommended that everyone remember to bring a mobile power bank to the venue because it will require a lot of mobile phone operations and it is easy to run out of power in the venue. Occasionally there will be slow reception when there are many people , but because we went there in the first week, it may be improved if the crowds are less. In fact, there is Wifi at the site, but it needs to be set up in advance , so it is a little troublesome. It is recommended that you prepare roaming or Wifi machines. In addition, some venues on site will require you to download apps when entering, and sometimes you will be required to fill in personal information . Some people may think there are security concerns, so please make your own judgment. The last small note is for environmental protection. In fact, there are no paper park guides and maps released on site. It is recommended that you download the official map in advance to indicate the venues you want to go to for easier planning of routes , or you can also use Google Maps because google After opening the map, you can find that most venues are marked on it , so you can use them together. Secondly, I personally think that physical strength management is very important because the park is really big. You will walk about 20,000 steps a day , so you need to plan your physical strength well. There are actually many rest areas in the park, so you don’t have to worry about not having a place to sit and rest. However, queuing before admission and rushing to the venue will make you a little tired. I suggest you take advantage of the traffic in the park. There are two types of transportation. The first one is the eMover bus. It has a total of six stops in the park. Tickets can be purchased at the bus stop for 400 yen per trip . It is highly recommended that you remember to buy a one-day pass because the one-day pass is 1,000 yen and you can ride unlimited times . It is very cost-effective. Especially if you want to move directly from the East Gate to the West Gate venue, it will take a long time to walk. Taking this bus is very convenient , and you can also go around the big roof and enjoy the entire park . The seaside scenery is another means of transportation in the park. The e-SNEAKER is a single-person electric vehicle that is set up at the East and West Gate and can be rented for free. However, it will be rented first to the elderly or those who seem to be less mobile. There are only 150 e-SNEAKERs in total and because the crowds were quite crowded in the first week , we rarely saw anyone using it when we went there. After all, if there are many people in front of you, your electric vehicle may not be able to start . Next, I want to talk about the barrier-free facilities in the Expo venue . I personally give it five stars because I think its barrier-free facilities are really well done. The roads in the entire venue are very flat. Each major venue and the roof are also equipped with elevators and barrier-free ramps. I think it is very friendly to wheelchair users. Of course, it is also suitable for strollers. However, I personally recommend not to bring children who are too young to the venue because some venues will combine exciting sound and light effects, which may also cause problems. Children are actually quite easily frightened by the special effects such as board vibrating and water spraying. As for which venues will have sound and light effects , the official website also has a map indicating that there are many toilets and some lactation rooms on site . So I don’t think you need to worry too much about this part . The only thing that seniors need to pay attention to is that the queue before admission may take a long time and the venue is really large, so you may have backaches and footaches. Finally, I would like to share with you the tips for organizing ticket reservations on the day. The secret technique is really important to try to make it as seamless as possible. If your physical strength allows, I really recommend that you register to enter at nine o’clock and then go to the venue to queue up between 7 and 8 o’clock to wait for the first batch of admission. About 10 minutes after entering , you can immediately use the mobile app to reserve the day’s sorted tickets, so you can take this opportunity to grab the popular venues. This app has a rule for the day’s sorted tickets, which is that you can only reserve one venue at a time , and you must make a reservation before actually entering the venue or before canceling the reservation. In fact, you have no way to make reservations for other venues, so it is highly recommended that you make reservations for the morning time slot as soon as you enter . For example, if you enter the venue at 9 o’clock, you can immediately reserve the venue for 10 o’clock. This way, after you enter the venue at 10 o’clock , you can immediately reserve the next one without too much waiting time. If you enter the venue at 9 o’clock and immediately reserve the venue for 16 p.m. , it means that you are empty between 9 o’clock and 16 o’clock. You can’t reserve any venue. It is a pity. Finally, help everyone To sum up, if you are still hesitating about whether to go to Huanbo, I personally think it is very worthwhile to go because in fact, you don’t have to worry about it. As the news said, there are still many venues that have not been built. It is really, really big , so the built area alone is enough for you to visit for three days and three nights. I think it is actually like a large-scale adult version of the theme park. In addition to seeing many beautiful and majestic buildings, you can also see different styles of cultural presentations from various countries. And then you can see TECH, which represents Taiwan. WORLD Pavilion I feel that I can see beautiful things representing my hometown being exhibited abroad. I am really touched and honored. The above is our practical experience sharing at Wanbo . If you have paid attention to Wanbo related information or news, you should all know that the weather conditions were very unstable in the three days before the opening. There were heavy rains and strong sun . It can be said that it is a stress test given by God to Wanbo , so this time we really use the lessons of blood and tears to help you actually step in and share with you the most authentic point of view. We also sort out the status and strategies of each detail. We hope it will be helpful to everyone in planning your Wanbo trip. If you like our video, remember to like, subscribe, share and turn on the little bell . See you next time .
