Wisteria and azaleas in full bloom, Ashikaga Flower Park is truly a paradise of flowers.
Hello, I’m Ichiro 😊 Today, I came to Ashikaga Flower Park, which has become a “flower paradise” with wisteria and azaleas in full bloom. April 24, 2025. I came here after seeing the azaleas in full bloom at Tsutsujigaoka Park in Tatebayashi in the morning. The admission fee varies depending on the best time to see the flowers, but today it was 2,100 yen. The highest admission fee is 2,300 yen, so it may be just a little longer until the Great Wisteria Trellis is in full bloom. Here are today’s blooming conditions.
(1) Pale cherry pink wisteria, purple wisteria, azaleas (in full bloom)
(2) Great Wisteria Trellis (Best time to see)
(3) White Wisteria (just starting to bloom)
(4) Laburnum (mostly not blooming) There aren’t many people because the Great Wisteria Trellis isn’t in full bloom yet✌️ Let’s go around the garden clockwise. Enjoy the flower paradise😊 Large and Long Wisteria Trellis. It’s the best time to see them, but they’re not quite in full bloom yet. Today, we will also see the illumination, so please look forward to it. 😊 It is breathtakingly beautiful. ✌️ The white wisteria is just beginning to bloom. The purple wisteria, trained as a garden tree, is in full bloom. Large and Long Wisteria Trellis seen from the Pyramid Pond. It looks like the clouds in the sky are creating a flower paradise. We will go around the garden clockwise. It takes about 30 minutes to go around. Last year, we visited when the Great Wisteria Trellis was in full bloom, so please check out last year’s video if you like. I decide when to visit by weighing the best time to see the flowers, the weather, and how crowded it will be. The white wisteria is just starting to bloom. Double cherry blossoms. Japanese snowball. The Pale Cherry Pink Bridge in full bloom is now visible. The sun has gone behind the clouds, so let’s wait a little while for it to come out again. Double Flowered Wisteria. A rare double wisteria trellis, even in the world. The clusters look like grapes. The elegant fragrance is very strong. My videos are walking videos, and I am particular about shooting long takes. Recently, popular tourist spots are often so crowded that it is difficult to walk. Today, I came before the Great Wisteria Trellis was in full bloom, but I was able to walk around leisurely and am very satisfied. Even if the Great Wisteria Trellis is not in full bloom, there is no doubt that this is a flower paradise. To be honest, I timed my visit to coincide with the azaleas in full bloom at Tsutsujigaoka Park rather than the Great Wisteria Trellis. The Great Wisteria Trellis before it was in full bloom. Even before it was in full bloom, it was beautiful enough✌️ The Great Wisteria is over 160 years old, so the shrine has been rebuilt. There are two Great Wisteria Trellises side by side. This is a world-renowned wisteria trellis covering an area of 1,000 square meters. Japanese Snowball is also beautiful when it is still light green before turning white. Two Great Wisteria Trellis, over 160 years old and covering an area of 1,000 square meters, are world-renowned. Considering the best time to see the flowers, the weather, and the crowd, I think today was the best day. The white wisteria tunnel is coming into view. The white wisteria tunnel. I can see the Pale Cherry Pink Wisteria Trellis in full bloom. The flower stage near the front gate. A month ago, there were tulips, but now Calla lilies are blooming😊 By the way, the admission fee a month ago was 700 yen. Now it’s three times that, at 2,100 yen. Still, compared to the 10,000 yen admission fee for Disneyland, I think it’s still very cheap. From here, we will walk along the mountainside to the Large and Long Wisteria Trellis near the West Gate. A carpet of flowers! When it comes to Ashikaga Flower Park, wisteria tends to get all the attention, but I think the azaleas are just as beautiful. This may be the only place where you can see wisteria and azaleas in bloom together. If Disneyland is a dreamland, then this is a flower kingdom, a flower paradise. Azaleas come in many colors, just like tulips, which is nice. It looks like azaleas, but these are rhododendrons. You can see the Great Wisteria Trellis. Delphinium. I was just impressed by the azaleas at Tsutsujigaoka Park this morning, and now I’m impressed again. A professional photographer will take photos with your smartphone for free. Purple wisteria trellis. Japanese enkianthus, a member of the azalea family. This is a relatively small wisteria trellis in Ashikaga Flower Park. However, you can see the impressive trunk up close. After the purple wisteria trellis is the “sea of azaleas.” I turned the camera around to get the frontlighting. You can see the pyramid pond. It’s just a little further to the Large and Long Wisteria Trellis near the west exit, which is the goal. You can see the Large and Long Wisteria Trellis. How was it? I was thinking of coming back another day if it wasn’t the best time to see it, but my worries were unfounded. I’ll come back here next year when the azaleas are in full bloom at Tsutsujigaoka Park✌️ Now we’ve seen the whole park, but there’s still time before the lights come on, so let’s take a look at the places we missed. Wisteria dome. This is a rare type of wisteria trellis. The tulips were still in bloom. 😃 Four Seasons Stage. Purple wisteria screen. Let’s go around to the back of the screen, which is lit by the setting sun. Beautiful 😃 After wisteria and azaleas, next are roses and clematis 😊 Four Seasons Stage. It is divided into four sections with four different colors. White area. Symbol tree. Yellow area. Pink area. Blue area. Blue delphinium with purple Double Flowered Wisteria✌️ The impressive Double Flowered Wisteria😊 Lupines, then purple wisteria trellis. Once again, a sea of azaleas. Ashikaga Flower Park is beautiful not only for its wisteria but also for its azaleas ✌️ I’m just turning the camera around, not walking backwards 😅 Azaleas of various colors in the afternoon sun 😊 Laburnum and rhododendron forest. Laburnum is not actually a type of wisteria, but a flower called King Sari (golden chain). A few early-blooming King’s Chain flowers are in bloom. Rhododendrons are also in bloom. The handkerchief tree, whose white leaves look like handkerchiefs. We ate delicious ramen and takoyaki and waited for the sun to set✌️ Great Wisteria Trellis and azaleas. There are fewer people at night✌️ You can relax and enjoy the view of two world-famous Great Wisteria Trellis covering an area of 1,000 square meters😊 The blue moment of the Great Wisteria Trellis is beautiful. The azaleas are also illuminated. Pale Cherry Pink Wisteria Bridge. It’s like a painting. Last year, it was so crowded that I gave up on crossing the Pale Cherry Pink Wisteria Bridge. Pale cherry pink wisteria in full bloom swaying in the wind. Double Flowered Wisteria lights on the water surface. Double Flowered Wisteria, then the Pale Cherry Pink Wisteria Bridge. The Four Seasons Stage. A screen of purple wisteria. White wisteria tunnel. How about the white wisteria, which has just started to bloom a little? Beautiful✌️ Let’s walk through the Four Seasons Stage. White wisteria waterfall. Large and Long Wisteria Trellis. Pyramid Pond. Let’s walk to the “Azalea Sea” on the mountainside. The “Azalea Sea” at night. How was the flower paradise? Finally, let’s walk around the Pyramid Pond to finish up. The blue moment is nice, but the pitch-black sky is also beautiful. During the winter, this park is one of Japan’s three major illumination spots. I really think the lighting is done very well. Thank you for watching the video all the way to the end. See you in the next video! 😊
Today, I visited Ashikaga Flower Park, where wisteria and azaleas are in full bloom.
The admission fee, which varies depending on the best time to see the flowers, was 2,100 yen.
The next day, the admission fee rose to 2,300 yen, the highest price, so it may have been a little too early to see the Great Wisteria Trellis in full bloom.
However, thanks to that, I was able to stroll around the park, which was relatively uncrowded.
The flowers bloom in the following order. The information in parentheses is today’s status.
(1) Pale Cherry Pink Wisteria, Purple Wisteria, Azaleas (in full bloom)
(2) Great Wisteria (best time to see)
(3) White Wisteria (just beginning to bloom)
(4) Laburnum (mostly not in bloom)

Thank you so much for this wonderful video. I am very happy to see the stunning views of the Ashikaga Flower Park again. I visited the park around 10 years ago. At that time, there was no Ashikaga Flower Park Eki (train station). I remember that I took a shuttle bus from another train station. I stayed in the park from daytime till evening. The views were so beautiful that it was like being in a dream.
It was divine in a floral paradise. Everything works together perfectly. Plenty of colours and surely scents to dazzle the senses.Vivaldi's Four Seasons is a masterpiece, just like Ashikaga Park in visual form. The huge glycines blend into the structure perfectly. Thank you for being in paradise, I will stay here a little longer than 50 minutes 💗💛💜
Estan muy hermosas ❤

Thank you for this totally stunning video ,hard to believe that so much beauty can come from one 160 year old tree ,what a beautiful park a lot of hard work as gone in to create it .All the best Ichiro .
・見事な藤だな & 入園料金・・・ウ~ン!
👍👍
Super 💯🤩🤩🤩🌺🌺🌺👏👏👏
Amazing videography – like a cinematic view. I will have to be contented enjoying the flowers through your journey. We are simply not able to enjoy the flora and fauna in such smaller spaces with so many people unfortunately and this is not even the peak. 🥲Hamamatsu Flower Park was great because of the open spaces and being able to walk on the grass, but I don’t think the wisteria there are as beautiful although the tulips were gorgeous when we visited in Mid-April?
