瘦西湖名稱的來歷，是乾隆年間寓居揚州的詩人汪沆的一首感慨富商揮金如土的詩作:“垂柳不斷接殘蕪，雁齒紅橋儼畫圖；也是銷金一鍋子，故應喚作瘦西湖。”瘦西湖的特點是湖面瘦長，蜿蜒曲折。

I was actually doing research on Yangzhou and 瘦西湖right before you uploaded this video! My hair stylist who was born in Hong Kong then moved to the US in his youth told me about Yangzhou. His family is originally from there. He is probably vacationing there at the moment. 😂 I am waiting for him to come back from China to do my hair. Which 西湖would you prefer visiting? I can’t fit both 西湖 in my schedule😅
