Sumida Park Cherry Blossom Festival 2025
Over 500 cherry trees bloom throughout the Sumida Park near Sumida River from mid-March to early April, creating a breathtaking scene near the Tokyo Skytree. In the evenings, the rows of blossoms are beautifully illuminated, forming a glowing tunnel of soft pink.
For a truly memorable view, consider taking a ride on a traditional yakatabune boat. Cruising along the river offers a peaceful, panoramic perspective of the blossoms in full bloom.

Sumida Park’s entrance is a three-minute walk from Asakusa Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza and Toei Subway Asakusa lines, and 5 minutes from Asakusa Station on the Tobu Skytree Line.
