Did I Find the Best Place on Earth? ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ vA 178

Soon after leaving Betty’s Bay, in the Western Cape, in South Africa, I arrive in Kleinmond, and I stop to recharge my battery and for lunch. The first place, strangely refuses to let me charge my battery, but luckily, the second place accepts and the food is absolutely amazing. As I eat a lot, the people near by notice me and a Swiss man comes to talk to me, to know where did I come from with this strange tricycle and this huge appetite. In the end, he pays for my meal.
After this wonderful lunch, I resume my way towards Hermanus, meeting quite a few very friendly people on the way. Before reaching Hermanus, I go to a place where they make wine to see if I can try some. After realizing that it was foolish to want to drink wine while riding on the road, I finish my way to Hermanus where I stay in a beautiful and very well organized backpackers.

  1. The guy from Gabon was hiding his real heritage. He was pretending to be a South African and lied about his ancestry. It was clear he was not from South Africa right from the beginning. He should be proud to be from Gabon and not hide it. South Africans do not speak French. I thought he might be Congolese.

  2. I agree South Africa has absolutely blown me away with it's beauty!! The coast and the little towns are so stunning ๐Ÿ˜ i wish i could visit one day. I pray for peace ovet there. This has shown me how nice most South Africans really are

  3. We drove along the Garden route from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town. Wish you would ride there. It is beautiful. The lady in the first restaurant will help the owner to close down their business. She cannot comprehend anything.

  4. Love watching Yves, have been for years.

I agree that South Africa is a gorgeous country, with incredible people.

Sadly, most of the nice places Yves stay in are owned by white colonial settlers, while the workers are black.

That always leaves me with an unsettled feeling.

  5. The way They Talk about Townships & Danger as an African South African it's like You Talking about a Place occupied by NON – HUMANS OR DOGS…OR SOME CREATURES THAT ARE SYNONYMS TO DANGER AS IF YOU ARE IN A MILITARY WAR ZONE OF BAFOONS… meanwhile It's US THE PEOPLE who live There…..THE VERY DANGER YOU ALL MANIFEST IS ME & MY BLACK AFRICAN PEOPLE….THE PEOPLE WHO SERVE YOU AT THE RESTAURANTS ETC LEFT THEIR CHILDREN IN THOSE DANGER ZONES OF ANIMALS YOU KEEP EMPHASIZING….AT SOME POINT I TAKE A STEP BACK AND SAY , YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT MY PEOPLE AS IF THEY ARE NOTHING BUT DANGER THAT WAS ENSHRINED INTO YOU BY THOSE WHO LOOK LIKE YOU. LET IT BE THE FINAL TIME YOU REFER TO MY TOWNSHIPS AS IF ITS ZONES OF DOGS AND SHEER NON-HUMAN ZONES , MEANWHILE RIGHT IN THE TOWNSHIPS AND SQUATTER IS THE BREATH AND SOUL OF AZANIA ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ.. THE PEOPLE OF THE LAND , THOSE WHOSE MAKE IT BEFITTING FOR YOUR " COMFORT ZONES " TO EXIST , BY BEING EXCRUCIATINGLY PATIENT WITH GOVERNMENT PROCESSES OF FAIR Redistribution , TO ACCOMODATE COMFORT AND PEACE AND PLEASURE FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU !

KINDLY PASS AND RATHER TAKE OTHER ROUTES AND REFRAIN FROM SYNONYMOUS RELATION AND WITCHCRAFT OF DEFILING MY PEOPLE AS DANGER AND BROADCASTING IT AS SUCH ! TAKE YOUR " SAFE" ROUTES AND REFRAIN COMPLETELY FROM MY PEOPLE'S HOMES !

    SINCERELY AZANIA ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

  6. The owner of Vannie hoek should fire the useless girl standing on the chair for chasing customers away. Thick as anything..no clue about customers service and a n embarrassment to foreign tourists

  7. being a tourist for a day or a month vs living there for 30 years is very different. tons of places are good to visit but trash to live there for 30 years

  8. โคThat hospitable Lady๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

  9. I realised this evening, riding my horse towards other horses munching their dinner in the paddocks, saying, without thinking "hello my frieeends!" ๐Ÿ˜„ …guess I am officially a fan๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ greetings from the East Coast๐Ÿ˜Š

  10. I love the lady who accepted to charge your batteries , she's so welcoming unlike the latter who hesitated to even talk properly . No need of being almost wild to tourists .

  11. Great to hear that you rate the Western Cape so high. It is a lovely place to live in. I am jealous. You are thoroughly enjoying your life!! Keep on going and stay safe!

  12. I've been following your Channel for over a year now and i must have missed the episode where you passed my rough neighborhood KHAYELITSHA and I'm glad you made through with no hiccups!๐Ÿ˜Š

  13. I see the locals 'correct' you when you properly pronounced Agulhas. They just resist education ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. The Western Cape is beautiful, its people are beautiful and typically really friendly. We are the friendliest, hospitable people on the planet.

  14. The first woman was rude it cost nothing to be kind โ˜บ๏ธ now he went to the other restaurant and lady was so kind and the gentleman ended up paying for Yves lunch.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฅนโ˜บ๏ธ
