Q: When and where is the farmers market in San Isidro?
A: Wednesdays and Thursdays, 5AM-2PM, 500m north of central bus station. Go before 8AM for best selection of fresh produce and local goods.

Q: What’s available at the municipal market?
A: Fresh food, clothes, household items and small restaurants (sodas). Open Monday-Saturday 6AM-6PM, Sunday until noon. Located downtown near bus terminal.

Q: What can I do at the central square?
A: Visit Cathedral San Isidro Labrador, relax under shade trees, try street food, use free WiFi. Weekend events include live music and cultural activities. Main meeting point in downtown.

Q: How do I get to Chirripó National Park?
A: 40km from San Isidro. Take bus to San Gerardo de Rivas (1 hour), then walk 1km to entrance. Book climbing permits in advance through SINAC website or park office in San Isidro.

Q: What waterfalls are near San Isidro?
A: Nauyaca Waterfalls (45 min drive toward Dominical) and Quebrada Azul (15 min from town). Entrance fees: 1,000-10,000 colones ($2-$20). Both good for swimming.

Q: When’s the best time to visit the area?
A: Dec-April: dry season, better for hiking. May-Nov: rainy (especially Sept-Oct) but greener with fewer tourists. Pleasant temperatures year-round (18-28°C).

Q: Is there public transportation in San Isidro?
A: Yes. Local buses connect downtown with surrounding areas. Taxis cost 1,000-2,000 colones ($2-$4) within town. Main bus terminal serves both local and long-distance routes.
