At an altitude of 1,252 meters, this mountain is still one of the leading tourist destinations in the Kanto region, and still retains its history and nature. Especially in autumn, the way the autumn leaves paint the approach to the shrine in crimson is like a painting. The road connecting Daisenji Temple and Afuri Shrine is easily accessible by cable car, but the climb to the top is well worth the challenge with its breathtaking views.
