“It’s like thick custard”.. I am proud of you guys. It’s not about the comment but for the fact that you’re eating durian so effortlessly and throwing comparisons like locals. It’s when you know you’ve eaten enough durians to be able to have opinions about the different texture and taste.
Some schools run 2 sessions, one in the morning normally 7.30am to 12.30 pm or 1pm. The afternoon session starts at 1.00pm and ends at 6.00 pm or 6.30pm

Education is very important in Sarawak, you can see Sarawakian dedication in putting their children into school
"Gayu guru gerai nyamai, ohhhh" haaaa… tagline cheers in Sarawak. In translation "Live long, peace and prosperity" ohhhh haaaa
One day I will visit this place too 🥰👍. Thank you 🙏
Malaysia Truly Asia…
Love learning about different cultures from around the world. Simply fascinating. Roland and his wife are lovey people. I would love living in a house like theirs b the lake.
With so much chaos and unrest going on in this world at the moment, your wonderful videos through Borneo give us hope that there is still peace and tranquility around which we can learn from the amazingly friendly natives' simple way of life.
Way to go with a huge off roader like that .. to Bakun, Logan Bunut, Mulu..etc
Sunday treat ,watching you take us to far away places !So lovely .Thank you!
The remote Malaysian terrain severely tested both driver and vehicle. Marriane, the superwoman driver and navigator, explored off Sarawak's beaten path. Hats off to you both.
How did you two even find this place? Amazing views..❤
Very entertaning and I did enjoy watching your video….
Some interesting facts about Sarawak, of some 180 years ago.
The White Rajahs of Sarawak were a hereditary monarchy of the Brooke family, who founded and ruled the Raj of Sarawak as a sovereign state, located on the northwest coast of the island of Borneo in Maritime Southeast Asia, from 1841 to 1946. Of British origin, the first ruler, James Brooke was granted the province of Kuching – which was known as Sarawak Asal (Original Sarawak) – by the Sultanate of Brunei for helping fight piracy and insurgency among the indigenous peoples in 1841 and received independent kingdom status.
Based on descent through the male line in accordance with the will of James Brooke, the White Rajahs' dynasty continued through Brooke's nephew and grandnephew, the latter of whom ceded his rights over Sarawak to the United Kingdom in 1946, which was made a Crown colony. His nephew had been the legal heir to the throne and objected to the cession, as did most of the Sarawak members of the Council Negri.
Amazing! I am surprised that everyone speaks English!
Awesome, many thanks for sharing your wonderful journey. Love it. ❤️
what a wonderful video , something you would never normally see . an amazing life .
What an amazing place.❤
More of wonderful Sarawak , didnt get to that part but we did get to other areas in that sort of environment . The rivers , the people and homes are all so wonderfully welcoming . It is inspiring and relaxing being in those areas after the lives we live in big cities or even smaller towns where life is so hectic .
I must be dreaming. This place is calling me. Feel like home. ☝🏻💫🤩🕊️🌏
Yet again another soul fulfilling video guys 💖 feeds the part of my soul of my Malaysian/Indonesian branches thank you for showing me places that I likely will not see.
Beautiful….I just had the pleasure of watching your latest adventure…it is not just the amazing scenery but the two of you and the uplifting and positive energy you both exude. Even though you have had your ups and down I am sure….you present such a calm and appealing energy…..I have been following your journey for awhile….I guess your son is married now….and you are staying put for awhile in the UK…Happy Spring from Toronto 🇨🇦
As a local, I'd say Sarawak's true hidden gem are hidden away in the jungle, the remote and rural area where everyone in the big city came from.
I always going for a trip with my friends once a year where I go to their longhouses or village which situated at least 3 or 4 or up to 6 hours to reach, by using the logging road going upper river and I cannot stressed enough, how beautiful are Sarawak's mother nature, all those pristine clear cold water, untouched jungle and absolute silent of nature.
I am glad we still have part of Sarawak that where the nature reigns over in some remote and rural area.
Godspeed to both of you, come back to Sarawak again anytime soon.
Just imagine gawai festival. Everyone goes back to the long house. That's the best time to be in a long house 😄
This is a must-visit for your UK group😊
Congratulations on 200K! 🎉🎉🎉
