• A spring week in Nagoya and Takayama: a Japan vlog | Shirakawa-go | Shinhotaka Ropeway ❀ •

2 seasons in 2 cities in 7 days 🇯🇵

A vlog of all the destination we visited in the Chūbu region, where we:
❅ got to experience my first snow fall
ʚ꩜ɞ buy candy from a retro store that’s also a museum
ᨒ↟ visit a UNESCO World Heritage site that looks straight out of a postcard
⛷ ride a double-decker ropeway to see the Japanese Alps
ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ got to see a polar bear in the flesh

We got to experience two seasons in one trip. Was checking the weather app religiously before leaving, but did not expect actual snowfall during our first full day in Takayama. Made the experience in Shirakawa-go and Shinhotaka Ropeway even more magical. When we got to Nagoya, it was very sunny and warm. Perfect for strolling around the shrines, the zoo and a local aquarium. 🙂
