  1. Welcome to Kuching guys. Hope you'll have a pleasant stay here. Have fun.

  2. Weer een prachtige vlog mooie beelden en route wat zijn jullie een prachtig Stel en altijd vriendelijk Top 👍👍💏

  3. Those log steps do look precarious, but I notice they have a wide step inside. The jungle native guy looks so similar to natives from South American tribes too! You guys are far too polite to say if you didn't like the food, but sometimes you do, especially if it's weird or spicy, Marianne, you're quite brave.

  4. Thank you again for this nice episode! And I love to update my history knowledge by looking at your content! Thank you both.

  5. Jason Statham movie….. The BeeKeeper, one of his best in a long time IMHO. Listening to Chris say "Kuching" sounded like a old school cash register and a tourist trap place, glad to see it had something to see, surprisingly good. Great content as always Chris and Marianne. Best wishes from Thailand! Put it on a week get away thanks to your video.

  6. My brother lived in Ku chin just passed away last week. Ive been there food is great and cheap. So i want to thank you for putting a smile on my face for visiting that place. All the way from UK ❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

  7. A lovely reminder of Kuching , we stayed right on the river , so great to stroll along . We also went to a huge area where there were lots of food stalls , you could choose which stall you fancied to eat , choose the meat and veg and they cooked to,order with which sauce we wanted . Everyone sat in the middle , maybe even choose another stall as well for a different taste . We went out to the Baka National Park , another wonderful wildlife area , saw long houses . Great reminder of the “ museum” of local tribe houses , have two sago implements bought there on our wall . Oh happy days in Borneo . Cannot wait for your net video , that might jog more memories .

  8. Best video from Borneo, full of interest and some nice local shops for a change. You 2 amaze me with your appetite 😂

  9. Nice to see this video, it shows so many information about our neighbour and so thanks to you sir and madam, you guys are amazing , wow.

  10. Next to the coffee shop where you had your Americano, there's Jaak Maan restaurant belongs to the famous Dutch Youtuber & his wife, channel called Global Gibbon

  11. I am not sure whether you cross the river on a sampan to the Malay Food Court at Kampung Boyan and visit the Kek Lapis outlet, and savour the sweet and spongy layered cake. an icon of Sarawak.

  12. If I may…its one of those tricky "C" pronounciation again – soft "Ch~" or "Kay~". So that game is actually pronounced "Chong-kak" as opposed to "Kong-kak". I noticed that many western vloggers also suffered similar mistake for roti "Ka-nai" instead of "Cha-nai". Cheers all the same 🙌🏼

  13. 31:00 Yes, the Laksa Sarawak is different from Penang Laksa or Singapore Laksa. Penang Laksa more sour and fishy. Singapore Laksa more on Curry side. Sarawak Laksa you need to braised the stock with prawn shells to enhanced the aroma and taste with the Laksa spice paste. 😊

  14. What a marvelous video! I'm from Sibu, Sarawak and my college years were spent in Kuching. Made me feel so proud to be Sarawakian. Thank you!!!

  15. Fantastic vid. Loved the insight into the different tribes, and how they lived. Awesome to see the Orangutans…. What a treat for you both.

  16. Did you know the laksa that you both went at Choon Hui Cafe was visited by the late Anthony Bourdain and his classic statement on laksa exclaims it all: "The Breakfast of the Gods".
Welcome to my hometown guys! You brought nostalgic memories to me everywhere you went here. Enjoy!
