Cuban Black Beans with Chicken Recipe
Cuban Black Beans ingredients
2 sweet red onions – chopped
1 large red bell pepper
1 hot pepper – chopped/minced
6 garlic cloves – chopped/minced
Olive oil
– Add oil to pan and add the above ingredients until tender then add the following bringing the mixture to a boil and cook for four hours or until beans are tender.
6 cups water
2 chicken breasts
1 pound dry black beans – soaked overnight
1.5 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon cumin
1 tablespoon rosemary
1 teaspoon cayenne – I used more
1 teaspoon paprika
black pepper to taste
2 bay leaves
Brown Rice
1 cup brown rice – rinse well before cooking
2 cups of water
– Bring to boil, reduce heat cover and simmer for 40 minutes

Omg! That looks soo delicious. Only thing missing with that meal is a bit of tequila. I really wish this video had smell-vision. Next splurge at the store, I may have to stock in a few things and try this out.
