Buen paseo. He de decir que el Altar de la Patria me impresionó mucho de noche, cuando está iluminado. Por fin veo el Panteón por dentro. Es muy interesante. Y si, he de admitir que también hice cola como una turista más, en la Plaza de la Magdalena para comerme un bocadillo en All’antico Vinaio 😋. Un saludo desde Madrid. 💚🤍❤️

Thank you ever so much for this regal birthday present for me – Rome with her wonders.I feel more of a VIP than many a Roman empress. You are truly generous! Moreover, what makes me proud beyond words is the fact that March 17 marks a significant anniversary in Italian history ie the founding of the Kingdom of Italy with Vittorio Emanuele her first king, whose monument we’ve just admired in the Pantheon. As far as the churches are concerned my favourite is the Chiesa delle Sante Stimmate di San Francesco because I worship this saint as the Saint of Nature.Returning to my birthday present what fascinates me are those narrow backstreets and alleyways which exude indescribable charm. Oh, to be in Rome! Hope I soon will be back- I’m working on it.Until then I remain your devoted follower. ❤LPS
