10 DAYS in NICARAGUA 🇳🇮 (not what we expected!)

After getting detained on our first day in Nicaragua, we almost left. But we stayed, and we are so glad we did.

In this video we spend ten wonderful days exploring different parts of Nicaragua. First, we try Nicaraguan food in León. Then we board down a literal volcano (Cerro Negro) after a rather windy hike. Third is Granada, a colonial gem full of a fun cultural shops and museums about coffee and chocolate. And last, but not least, we rent a moped and explore the endlessly gorgeous, island in the middle of Lake Nicaragua, called Ometepe! Who are Wyatt and Reyka?!

If you’re new here, hi! 👋

Originally from Washington (Wyatt) and Ohio (Reyka) in the USA, we started dating in college during the pandemic.

To celebrate graduation, we set off on a 6-week trip to Mexico. We filmed some videos for our family back home, ate a million tacos, and quickly got hooked on life on the road. On a whim, we set a 50-country goal! We didn’t know if we’d make it, but it sounded fun.

Dozens of passport stamps, a couple years, and many mistakes later, here we are! Still traveling to new countries, we are living out our wildest dreams, doing what makes us happiest! 🥹

We are incredibly grateful to be able to travel our planet every day. It’s not lost on us how lucky we are. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey! 🥰

    "Indio Viejo" is one of my favorites. Try also "carnenbajo," as the locals say, and "BAHO," which are typical dishes that you can only find here!
