Yamanote Line Walking Tour Part 6: Shinjuku to Ikebukuro [4K/HDR/Binaural]
This video takes you on a walking tour along the Yamanote Line. This is part 6 of 9.
This tour started from Tokyo Station and follows the Yamanote Line clockwise, is now halfway complete. Today, we begin the second half of the journey, starting from Shinjuku Station and continuing along the remaining half of the route. We’ll start at the south exit of Shinjuku Station, making our first stop at Shin-Okubo Station. From there, we’ll pass through Takadanobaba Station and the quiet residential area of Mejiro Station before reaching our goal for the day—Ikebukuro Station.

Good job on this video. I will be staying at Ikebukoro in about two weeks. Now I know how to walk to Shinjuju if I am up to it!
Nice video, in my experience areas between Nishiwaseda and Ikebukuro are great to live. Great connections, a lot of stores and restaurant and not so crowed as Shinjuku or Shibuya. I were specially confortable at Toshima-ku. Happy to see the same walks that I did few years ago.

It's like watching an epic in 9 parts. I can chalk up part 6! That makes me a club member, right? 11:13 sure looks different during daytime than on a dark, snowy night. 38:29 there must be hundreds of residences in this building. Nice residential neighborhoods near Gakushuin Uni. I love ethnic neighborhoods with eateries and small shops, like Korea Town. Again, you outdid yourself on this long walk full of visual contrasts.
