The Ultimate Seafood Experience 🇿🇦 vA 165

I ride from Dwarskersbos to Langebaan, in the Western Cape, in South Africa.
In Langebaan, I go to Strandloper, a famous and unique seafood restaurant, a fascinating 10 course meal that lasts 3 hours, a true seafood adventure.
Let’s eat!

  1. There's something so satisfying to see Yves eat as i've seen how much he deserves all those calories he puts in he's body. All those kilometer's behind him and the man's probably in best shape of he's life ! Mostly i've seen Yves eat canned fish with bread or wurst and he still enjoys and is thankful of every bite of food he chews to literally fuel to he's body, like the energy in he's electric bicycle's battery. It's so fascinating to follow your route to South Africa and see the joy still on the man's face !

  2. Yea when I was done with my trip across the USA, i was depressed. Now I’m saving so I can do a multi year tour, or maybe a never ending tour!

  3. OMG. To have to listen to you slobbering through 10 courses of meals this time will be torturous. Thank goodness for fast forwarding. 😂

  4. If you close you eyes and listen to Yves eating you might get the wrong idea or think something else😅😅😂😂

  6. Hey man,

As a Capetonian myself I cannot wait to see your next update. I only recently discovered your channel and am mind blown by your experiences and journey this far.

  7. Yves they charge R500 a night for locals R1500 a night. I wonder if he was a person of color if they would have treated him the same.I was a few years ago in Dwarskersbos with my family and the shop owner refused to serve us, our second day there he eventually served us . We shouldn't hide the fact that racism is rife in the western Cape especially in West coast.

  8. Love how that food was so unpretentious and a real immersive experience on the beach front. Not about what the food looked like but you can tell it tasted good. Been following since Lebanon…so close now!

  9. Whites always friendly ,cares ❤❤❤ in south Africa and then black thinks to rob ,kill I wantend to be the first to comment 😔..but due to high rate of unemployment it seems like some people sleep here🥴

  10. French History in Langebaan:
Hunters from France frequented the area 1500-1600 long before the Dutchman,Jan van Riebeeck arrived in Cape Town in 1652.
They used Schaapen Island as their head quarters and for storage of Seal skins and whale oil. This island which is close to the beach was called: “Isle à la Biche” at the time and the name was only changed back to the original about a century ago.
    End
    😮
