I won't 100% guarantee you'll be fine if an earthquake happens, but if you stay in buildings constructed within 20 years here in Taiwan, you shall be fine.
The onsen place looks just like their counterparts in Japan.

The pineapple bun doesn't have any pineapple 👍🏻, it's only called that because the layer on top is moulded with a bunch of squares like the texture of a pineapple peel/shell 😄

Don’t forget to try the well known restaurant called Din Tai Fung. It’s famous of small meat buns. It has several locations in Taipei and also around the world. One of them is at the Taipei 101.

Haha I get my milk tea with no sugar, no ice, and a lot of times no toppings. I do like mini boba, pudding, grass jelly, or red beans occasionally. But my standard order is basically just tea and milk
