(First post of 2025~🎍 Happy New Year!! I’ll be uploading lots of videos this year, so let’s explore Japan more deeply together!)
Thank you for being here 🙂 In this video, I visited Uchiko-town in ehime prefecture, the 5th prefecture out of my travel through all the 47 prefectures in Japan 🇯🇵
After entering Imabari City and enjoying the local specialty of roasted pork and egg rice, I finally headed to Imabari Castle. Before me appeared the magnificent castle, standing elegantly within its moat. What a beautiful sight! I spent time admiring this castle from various angles🥹🥹 Afterwards, I visited other spots in Imabari (Imabari International Hotel, Nihonshokken KO Palace) and enjoyed local delicacies (salt butter dorayaki, senzanki). And then, can I climb Mount Ishizuchi, the highest peak in Western Japan… Please watch to find out🙏 (Comments and shares are very welcome!🥹 Thank you✨‼️)

I agree with you, the castle surrounded by the moat was very beautiful and the day that you videoed it was beautiful as well, with the blue sky and the fluffy clouds. I think that it was a wise decision that you made for the mountain climb, there's no sense in taking chances with potentially icy weather. Very nicely done. Thank you for sharing this incredible journey and for narrating it in English. As always, have a safe journey. ❤🙂
I was here last summer after cycling in the shimanami kaido and also stayed at Cyclo no Ie. I wished i explored the castle more, sadly i was on a time constraint. I hoarded many towels in Imabari main store nearby though 😀
I plan to go see Matusyama, Bitchu-Matsuyama, and Matsumoto castles at the end of the year and now I have another to go see that is on the path! I went to Himeji Castle last August and now I want to see the rest of these castles. They are such marvelous structures. Any sight suggestions in Fukui or Kanazawa area?
