This video comes at the right time as I’m in Tokyo for 2.5 weeks and want to go off the beaten path. 🙏🏽
guys, pls do more coverage on Tohoku region (Akita, Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, and Yamagata)
Excellent video! However, how did you get to the Jogasaki Coast trail? It is a long distance from the nearest train station. Can you please explain. Thank you.
What if I can't ride a bike?
Don’t forget to visit the must see MOA museum in Atami. Beautiful as always!!
Thank you so much for continuing making high quality Japan travel videos. Your channel is the first thing I visit when I'm thinking of new place to visit. You never fail!
P.S. Matt is looking very good!
First time I know about Izu Peninsula is from Yuru Camp anime series
Is the strep a situation a problem?
These videos always hit me right in the feels. Izu Peninsula has been on my list for a bit now, it may just make an appearance this year… Thanks as always JG.
I love traveling by train.
After looking it up, is it possible that there is a mistake at 6:03? The Shimoda Treaty was between Japan and Russia, and the treaty that Perry signed, which first opened japan to foreign trade was signed in Kanagawa.
Edit: I find conflicting information about the Treaty of Amity and Commerce, also known as Harris Treaty, which was either signed at Ryosen-ji in Shimoda or on his ship in the bay of Tokyo. Ryosen-ji also served as Perry's residence when he was visiting Shimoda after the Treaty of Kanagawa was signed.
Hey, that's a nice video! But you should do another video of the west coast of Izu!! It's way more spectacular than the more developed east coast. However, that means renting a car, but it's so worth! 😀
Do you have to reserve the bikes, hotel, shuttle in advance if you arrive in Tokyo 2nd week of May?? First time Japan travelers here.
こんにちわ mat さn
Amazing video as always ❤
God bless you and japan guide team😊
ありがとうございます
Lots of love from India 🇮🇳❤🇯🇵
次は夏に西伊豆へ行ってみて下さいな、沖縄級に海が綺麗なので
Having such advanc3d and maintained train system, the tickets system seems so convoluted. Why require a passport, youre already in the country, you showed it in the airport.
I'm curious. What would a traveler do with their luggage during this itinerary since they don't check into their hotel until 3 towns in?
Thank you for this great video. I'll be on Izu in 8 weeks and I'm looking forward to seeing this great landscape
Perfectionist video. Looking forward for more videos
Looks stunning!!
with the success of the Shogun tv show, Izu's bound to draw more foreign tourists:)
Hi, it was an informative guide to Izu. Just a question, is it a good time to visit Izu during the winter because most of the videos I seen refers Izu as the summer escape?
Izu is paradise.
Loved your YouTube. Casualness is so comfortable. Great choices of spots to experience. Thanks!
I love Izu ❤ . After I tead Kawabata book IzU Odori ko I feel obsessed with all the scene also Perry Mathew black ship history
Kinda disappointing video. So many spots are missed. I want to believe in that you couldn't get permission to shoot video, rather than doing a sloppy research.
Columbus Alley
So I’m not the only one seeing all these 9s either huh haha wow
