I live outside of ploiesti . The Christmas Market in the city is magnificent. The market food is mouth-watering and nicely presented. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the lights down the main boulevard . And everywhere is so clean and tidy . The summer market is nice to visit too . people bring along their harvest goods sell .

Un targ de Craciun traditional romanesc nu ar servi carne.

Romania has a traditionaly a fasting period of 40 days before Christmas. That means no meat, cheese, milk and eggs, but fish on Saturday and Sunday.
A tradional ROMANIAN christmas market would not serve meat.

Noi m mers aici ib bruxel la piata de craciun si nam gasit prea multe de servit ..doar tartiflete dotdog ceva dulciuri dar fripturile apartin rominilor ei sunt cu mincari diverse nu merg pe 2-3 feluri
These kinds of markets are just traps for tourists and suckers…Anywhere in Europe.
My opinion is that anywhere outside the USA, the food is much better, even in Somalia or Burkina Faso….Not to mention the coffee.
