24H Of Italian Food In BARI – Ultimate Street Food Tour & Surprises 🇮🇹
*Join us as we uncover Bari’s best food spots—and also what to be cautious of—in an unforgettable journey through Bari.*
*Melo Coffee and Bakery*
Start the day with us at Melo Coffee and Bakery, where we dive into Bari’s local breakfast culture with delicious focaccia and other traditional pastries. This charming bakery serves up some of the city’s finest flavors, offering an authentic taste of Italian breakfast done right.
*Old Town*
Next, we head to Old Town to experience a truly unique Bari tradition: watching local women make fresh orecchiette pasta right on the streets. This iconic scene is a must-see, and the skill and passion these ladies put into their pasta are inspiring!
*Nino – il Salumiere*
From there, we visit Nino – il Salumiere to sample the famous panino, made with freshly sliced meats and cheeses in a bustling atmosphere that truly captures the essence of a local salumeria. Watch as they craft delicious sandwiches, packed with flavors only found in Bari’s delicatessens.
*Open Market at Piazza Mercantile*
After that, we take a quick stroll through the open market at Piazza Mercantile, where we explore stalls filled with local produce, honey, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, and more. It’s the perfect spot to see (and taste!) the variety of fresh ingredients.
*La Pucca*
When hunger strikes, it’s time for some street food at La Pucca. This family-owned gem is a local favorite, known for their crispy panzerotti and unique la pucca sandwiches. The flavors here are a true highlight of Bari’s street food scene, prepared with love and tradition in every bite.
*Trattoria Giulio Cesare*
Our next stop is Trattoria Giulio Cesare, where we sit down for a plate of orecchiette and other local dishes. However, not everything went as planned here, making for a surprising dining experience that you’ll want to see for yourself!
*Pizza In Forno*
Finally, we end the day at Pizza In Forno, a pizzeria specializing in wood-fired pizzas. With creative toppings and local pizza techniques, these pizzas are baked well… but unfortunately, we had an unexpected surprise here as well.

Hello, I'm an official MovShot promoter, do you have a need to take advertising campaigns now?
I am italian but living abroad , in Italy always the same mentality robbing the tourist , in these case giving bad food and orecchiette speciality of Puglia that are not fresh. The same italian mentality thinking they are more clever then you👎
In bari vecchia, orecchiette the wimen sale, is a tourist's trap , they show that are homemade, but these orecchiette that they sell in the package are industrial production, good as well, but not homemade, be carefull!!!
Per favore, dammi un visto italiano
I'm living in a city not far from bari and my mother and my Grandma usualky made orecchiette and others kind of fresh pasta at home. To make a kilo of pasta It takes over One hour , so it's impossible that they produce all that quantity of pasta.
But bari Is Amazing, you have to eat spaghetti alla assassina, raw seafood, they are the real speciality of bari,
Le olive nere al sale si fanno fritte con l'olio e' sono buone si accompagnano con il pane fresco.
Amore Amore <3
In Italy mix salad is usually a side dish for the second course so is not plentiful, aniway 6 euro is quite expensive.
Watching from New Hampshire. My mouth is watering only the best in italy
🙌🏻👍🏻😋🥘 и так далее. 🇮🇹👈🏻
Hello Alex. I enjoyed being shown your experience of the sights, smells, & tastes of Bari.
I wanted to say something about your illness (like everyone else wants to, too!😂). Nearly all food-borne illnesses take 10-12 hours to elicit symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain.
So if there were only a few hours between your pizza experience and your symptoms, then I would rule out the pizza place. So it was from earlier in the day.
Remember, it’s not necessarily the type of food that might be carrying the organism that made you ill,
but it can also be from a food worker who was carrying the bacteria in their system but didn’t properly wash their hands.
OR, perhaps, being served fresh food that came in contact, while being prepared, with food prep surfaces that previously had uncooked meat or fish on it & not getting cleaned properly.
(I studied Microbiology for my Bachelor degree)
italians food is very good . i reccomend at least as experience. im Romanian , and you should go to Romania also😘
my entire family is from BARI ITALY
You ate 3 pizzas??
I'm sorry you felt unwell but you did eat a lot of "heavy" food in a short amount of time. The fried olives from Bari are exactly what you ate and they have a slightly bitter taste—that's their characteristic. The breaded ones, on the other hand, are called "olive ascolane" and come from the Marche region. You probably ate a lot of food that your stomach isn't used to. Dairy products, if not used to consume it regularly, can be heavy, as well as the panino with all that mortadella.
