4K Hamburg 🇩🇪 : Reimagine The City With Architecture

In the last episode of our “Summer Travel to the Arctic” we invite you to explore Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg – the second-largest city in Germany which is internationally recognized for its progressive urban planning and city of transformation projects. We are going to explore its waterfront renovation projects as well as its unique archiectural treasure – The Elbphilharmonie designed by Swiss architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron. We will visit the HafenCity which is considered the largest urban redevelopment project in Europe, Speicherstadt ‘City of Warehouses’ (UNESCO) and Niederhafen River Promenade designed by Zaha Hadid Architects – reinforcement of the city’s flood protection system. And then we will enjoy a night walk along the water canals and bridges of the historic part of the city Neustadt and picturesque views of the night port of Hamburg.
