(@ryan_field_ takeover) We weren’t exactly sure how long this hike would take, but @alex_stead_ and I knew we absolutely had to be there by sunrise. We set our alarms for 2:30am and wound our way up the trail in time to watch the night sky give way to the sun. I had seen a thousand photos of this place, but nothing could ever replicate or prepare me for the experience of being there myself. I’ll trade sleep for moments like this any day.
