A walking road themed on the culture of the world-famous “Japanese anime manga artist”【Japan Walk】

“Mizuki Shigeru Road” is a road in Sakaiminato, Tottori Prefecture, that has turned the culture of manga artist Mizuki Shigeru, whose signature work is the theme of yokai, into a tourist attraction.

His most famous work is “Gegege no Kitaro,” and there are more than 177 bronze statues with yokai motifs lined up.

As the anime has been made into a movie and is attracting attention from all over the world, even on a weekday, foreign tourists were visiting the road.
