  1. Hope you liked your visit to Portugal.
You're supposed to eat good to burn all those calories by walking in Lisbon.
As you wondered, portuguese people in history sailed to discover the world, and traded some words with the japanese, arigato indeed comes from obrigado, another word is pan that comes from pão (bread).
Sintra is usually foggy because it created its own micro-climate by being so close to the ocean and being the tip of Europe, it has a lot of stories from that. The weather may be cold but the people are nice.
And yes we love our pastel de nata (egg tart).

  2. you are so cuteeee 😍😍, hope you liked lisbon but you should try to come to Madeira if you want, you are gonna be treated well !!!

  3. Hello! I'm portuguese and i just watched your video. I feel like you didn't explore much from our country. Try travelling with a local friend next time so you can eat different (and better) food in my opinion. Also paying for going into the bathroom should be illegal. They only exist in tourism sites. Search for any nearby cafe store because you can use their bathroom for free.

  6. As u might know with the immigration, Portugal is not the same, wouldn't be shocked if u saw more non european immigrants than Portuguese… Hope u come back when Portugal goes back to its Prime

  7. The funny fact about Lisbon's 7 hills is that there are in fact 8. 🤣

Usually only the following are listed:
    – São Roque
    – São Jorge
    – São Vicente
    – Santo André
    – Santa Catarina
    – Chagas
    – Santana (Sant'ana, Santa Ana)

But no one mentions the highest of them all which peaks at 200m: Graça.
That's because it was popularized as 7 hills in a book from the 17th Century and the incorrection stuck since then and became this myth of the 7 hills, when in fact there are 8 hills in Lisbon.

  9. Translation to portuguese is hilarious … 0:25 – it says "tortas de ovo" … it's " pasteeis de nata" … only in Portugal you can eat the real "pastel de nata" … there's no good translation to english or any other language… now … her … mamma mia … she´s beautifull … sorry , i'm a sucker for asian women… ups.

  11. 😅 u know she is used to Europe when she openly ignores a cross walk and just walks through an intersection

  12. Im glad you liked Portugal, im sad that the prices on the tourism places are getting so high , and the food in some places, aside from that portugal will always be a friendly and good place to visit. Hope we have you back, try more interior rural Portugal if you want more green views and lower prices 🙂
