  1. I learned it from YT videos that was the buses in Japan, they will stop every stop.

But in Taiwan, they don’t stop every stop! You need to wave to the bus you wanna take! However, it will be a little hard to the foreigners when there comes to two buses or even more at the same time. You need to make sure the moment you wave is to the bus you wanna take.
    😂😂😂

  2. In Taiwan bus does not stop unless you wave hands. You missed to study it in advance.

  3. You can hike to the top of elephant mountain which is close to taipei 101. There you can have better top view without paying anything.

  4. Quick question: In your hometown, do you have to wave down buses, or do they always stop if you're waiting at the bus stop? 🚌🤔 (Asking for a friend… okay, asking for us! 😅) Share your local bus etiquette below!

  5. Because many buses share a dedicated road, the driver cannot confirm whether you want to take his bus if you don't wave. In addition, what Linds said about the driver honking the horn is to remind you to confirm whether you want a ride, but not every driver will do this.

  6. So happy your children experience all this. I was in Taiwan studying Mandarin for 9 months. Sadly, I regret not trying a cooking class there. I have been to Din Tin Fung. So happy you came to Taiwan. Able to travel the world with your family.

  7. Cookinn的價格令人驚訝,自己做竟然比去鼎泰豐吃還貴的多😂

  8. In both Singapore and Taiwan, we wave the bus.

Singapore, if you don’t wave, the bus driver will drive past too, because the assumption would be that you want to take another bus service.

I would say in SEA, generally, we wave the bus.

  9. 8:17 ctually, the name ‘Boba’ also comes from Taiwan! The origin of ‘Boba’ is a bit inappropriate for children. In Taiwan, there are two different sizes of pearls in bubble tea: the smaller ones are called 珍珠(zhēn zhū)‘pearls,’ and the larger ones are called波霸(bō bà) ‘Boba.’ The term ‘Boba’ originally referred to big breasts🫣

  10. In Taipei, if you don't wave when the bus comes, the bus won't stop. You also need to press a button near you or the bus won't stop to let you down either.

  11. Because each bus stop is usually shared by many lines, people need to wave to the bus driver to signify their need to get on; otherwise, the driver would think they are there for another line and drive on!

  12. Welcome to Taiwan, your family is lovely. Glad that you guy enjoyed the trip!

  13. To catch the bus, you need to raise your hand when it came, or else the driver will assume you are waiting for a different bus because there are always multiple routes at the bus station. Many tourists did not know it.

  14. 乘客最好向巴士招手,好讓司機知道有人要搭乘。一家人其實坐計程車,跟搭巴士、捷運差不多。尤其是短程,會比較方便!

  15. It's sad to see one girl crying during the "Ding Tai Fong" time.🥲
Hope she could enjoy the delicious cuisine, too.
    Love your introduce!
