Walking a Small Village by Unstaffed Station | Kamikawa, Japan
Hase Station is a small unmanned train station by a collection of houses in Kamikawa, Japan. It’s an interesting little village, with a gas station, convenience store, post office, hotel, and most importantly, a pool. Other than the facilities, it is an area surrounded by rice fields and mountains – beautiful landscape. A the village lies between two rivers, the Inumi River flowing down from Hase Dam, and the Ichi River flowing from mountains in the other direction.
We start our walk on the edge of town, walk beside the river before crossing over to pass through the neighborhood in front of JR Hase Station. After a train passes we take a quick look at the station, before heading back through the town and up to a hillside shrine. It is a nice sunny walk on a pleasant early spring day.
What to expect:
An ASMR walking tour of a rural Japanese mountain town. Along the way there are sounds of flowing water, birds, and footsteps, which might be suitable as background noise for relaxation, sleep, or study.
All sounds were recorded on location.

12:20 So strange to me to see an older Suburban in a country where big cars like that are the odd ducks out vs here in the states where it’s reversed.
