It’s still summer in Japan, but this year’s ski season is just 2 to 3 months away!
The ski season will start as early as mid-November, and by December at the latest!
I’d like to introduce two ski resorts in Yuzawa that I visited at the end of March this year (2024).

First, we have “Yuzawa Kogen Ski Resort”.
Yuzawa Kogen Ski Resort is the closest ski resort to the Shinkansen’s Echigo-Yuzawa Station, and you can walk directly to the gondola.
Even if you don’t ski or snowboard, you can take the gondola up and enjoy playing in the snow!
While it’s not a particularly large resort, it’s incredibly convenient to access.
