What happened to all of the white Zimbabweans?
That road is bad but the government is rehabilitating roads.
Hi. I'm glad you're enjoying yourselves. If you're heading to Namibia, I highly recommend Sosussvlei – otherworldly, Etosha National Park and Kolmanskop. 😊
I thought, like the folks from, you’d drive up through Africa to Spain, then over the channel to home 🤷♂️
shithoels land.sodd off
I enjoyed your South African sojourn, I wish you had explored Mpumalanga before going into eSwatini or Mozambique.
The secret of driving on these untarred roads is to increase your speed, if you drive slow youll feel every bump!!
I like your adventures. Got my dad to watch an episode and his hooked
What a great video brought back many memories for us. We did this trip in 2012 on motorbikes, from South Africa up through Botswana to the Chobe River another amazing place. I was chased by an elephant on the way down to the Vic Falls from our Hotel. I was amazed that elephants can roam around the town, there are at least 6 people a year killed by these Elephants. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Holy moly, you clearly had no clue how to crack open a baobab fruit let alone how to eat it..😮😢!??
life is to short for a visit to zim
That "informal" roadblock is there so the guy who set it up can ask for money – better than having a real job, doncha know? He would not ask you because he knows that foreigners do not appreciate such things and may kick up a fuss!
Wow! Wow! Wow! Victoria falls was amazing. You two take us where some of us will never get to. Loved it.
Be hard to top that,Amazing ,Thank You.
Wat een prachtige beelden en een mooie natuur en omgeving we hebben weer genoten van jullie reis top👍👩❤️👨🚍
You've described Trudy as a two-wheel-drive van many times. But Zimbabwe redefined what "two wheel drive" means, didn't it? ——- Two on the tarmac and two on the fringe!
Cheers!
The inside of a Boabab fruit is Cream of Tartar.
Looks like Australian boab tree the
He nuts are great vitamins for birds
I never thought of the possibility of visiting Africa, but after watching your videos of it it's definitely a bucket list wish. Thank you guys for sharing such spectacular part of the world ❤
The inside fruit of the baobab tree is called creattarta and the tree rabbits are rock hyracs or commonly known as Dassies in SA. They are closest relative to the elephants.
The Zimbabwean people have always been very friendly and well-educated.
That baobab fruit was perfect for eating – you're supposed to put a "nut" in your mouth and suck on it.
Can you eat baobab fruit raw?

The food additive cream of tartar is derived from the fruits of the Baobab. Based on its interesting appearance, the Baobab is fondly referred to as the upside-down tree.
Is the baobab fruit edible?
Baobab Fruit: Benefits of Edible Powder and Nibs
The whole baobab tree is edible, and the fruit is one of the more commonly prepared parts of the tree. The fruit of the baobab tree contains a chalky pulp and black seeds that have many traditional and cultural uses in the preparation of food, drinks, and medicines for various ailments.
30 years ago you could travel at 120km/h no potholes unfortunately years of poor management has caused the country to fall into disrepair. It would have been better to go up north in botswana and head into Zimbabwe at Kasane. The main roads in botswana are much better.
I lived in Bullawayo from 1966 to 1983 in those days it was a beautiful clean city today unfortunately deteriorated a lot.
Not keen on them roads though. Can't they repair them. Come on Africa. Fix your roads. People's cars get damaged with all that to drive over
The reaction to the falls was amazing to watch! By the way, the original name of the falls is "Mosi-wa-tunya" (MOO-SEE WAH TOO-NYAH) in the siLozi language – which means "smoke that thunders."
Ironically, the same phrase (although spelled slightly different) is the same in the seSotho language of Lesotho and seTswana language of Botswana – both of which are official languages in South Africa, by the way… This is all due to common ancestry shared by these groups (Kololo)…
