To go up to the pagoda of Borobudur Temple, you need to apply for a guided tour. Tours start every hour from 8:30 to 15:30. Is it better to go first thing in the morning? Or the last one? In the morning, people from subsequent tours will come up one after another. At the last hour, no one will come up later. In other words, you can visit the pagoda with the fewest people. You can also see the mysterious pagoda illuminated by the sunset. I recommend the last tour!

This is one of the places we wanted to go on this trip to Indonesia, so my partner had prepared documents to enjoy Borobudur Temple 100%, but it was a shame that we didn’t get to see it because we put it in the suitcase in the lost baggage.
