ROAD TRIP Along the TURKISH RIVIERA – Travel Documentary | Didim to Antalya |
Episode 38 – We hire a car from Didim and enjoy one of the world’s best coastal drives along the Turkish Riviera which is also known as the Turquoise Coast. We start of our journey in Didim which is also home to the temple of Apollo. We discover the local farmers market in Didim before we drive to Bodrum then Göcek, Fethiye and arrive at the famous resort town of Ölüdeniz before sunset. What makes Ölüdeniz so famous is its stunning Blue Lagoon and with the backdrop of Babadağ Mountain where paragliders come from all over the world to paraglide from the 2000m high mountain and land down on the beach. From Ölüdeniz we drive down to Kas which might happen to be our favorite place along the Turkish Riviera. We enjoy the day around old town and find some of the best beaches along the Turkish Riviera. From Kas we drive up to Finike and reach our final destination at Antalya where we stay in the old town.

Thank you for the video. This is almost the same route we plan to take. The video is wonderfully shot which adds to the excitement of going there. However just wondering which month of the year you were traveling? We are going in Sept and wondering how the weather will be.
awesome videography
şu arap müziği saçmalıklarını bırakın artık. bizler türküz arka planda çalanlar türk müziği değiller
Sehr schön und Sau teuer
Great video guys.
The comments regarding the Turkish tea history was wrong..Turks drinks tea and coffee since Ottoman time! Turks didn't learn tea culture from India like British did!!
If you were to swim at Konyaaltı beach in the center of Antalya, you wouldn't have to pay. It is the longest public beach in the center of Antalya
Introduce Turkey as a documentary, so those who watch you will come to Turkey. On behalf of the Turkish people, I would like to thank you. Have a nice day.
I have to say you guys did a great job with introducing Turkiye . ❤
From 1200 years until today, these lands belong to the Turks. Since then, they have neither been Greek nor the lands of other countries. You are being a bit offensive when you say they are Greek lands.
They went to Antalya without stopping by Olymposs Phaseliss Kemer. There were many beautiful places from Finike to Antalya.
❤❤❤❤❤
CORRECTION: “KUM” MEANS NOT BEACH. IT MEANS SAND. SO IT IS “GOLDEN SAND”.
I want to experience Turkish Riviera
Didim is cool i like this place very much. Altınkum means Goldensand. Kum=Sand, Altın=Gold
Great Video – how long did you guys spend driving from Didim to Antalya, how many nights did you spend in each town?
Thanks for the trip back in time , really wanted to see Antalya again .
Certainly got bigger since 1968 🙂
Yet the old harbour is still there .
Was on the school ship MS Uganda , med cruise , was 14 🙂
Ship was too big to dock , ashore in the lifeboats 🙂
Also went to an ampitheatre , the sound system really works .
Apparently St John was walking the area .
Few of us got chatting with some guys in a ' cafe' close to the harbour .
One offered a friend a drink , was clear , thought it was water 🙂 NOT 🙂
Welcome to Ouzo 🙂 Was a bit of a shock , we were still only 14 🙂
Was suspicious of the " Turkish Delight ' on sale at the quay , was correct , grotty boiled sweets !
Did you see any puzzle rings , were really cheap back then , we found out later they were puzzle rings 🙂
Dang , looks like it was all that time ago . Can also see us in that taverna just behind the ruins 🙂 And tree 🙂 Or just a little further back 🙂
Thanks 🙂
nice content congratulations
Sehr interessanter vlog, wir sind fast jedes Jahr in Istanbul, aber nach diesem Video werden wir auch eine Rund tour machen 👌👍 Türkei ❤

4:20, correction, it IS the biggest tea drinking country in the whole world.
Kum means sand. You’re pronunciation and knowledge is still
Impressive. Good video. I’m
Excited to go back to Türkiye 🇹🇷 this summer
What this man saying that turkish did not drink tea couple of years ago is not correct Tea was planting In Turkiye since 1924 to 1938 but drinking and knowing tea is dated back centuries before as you know during ottomans time Today Turkiye was playing important role along silk road many Chinese persian and Indian products reach Europe through Ottomans empire also Turks as nation were among first nation in the world to contact ancient Chinese as they were neighbors
They also invade and dominate china several times in the ancient time
Amazing.
Hope one day I'll repeat your journey.
Thank you.
Sadly you missed Dalyan and the beautiful Iztuzu beach

Enjoyable video but where's the castle that appears at 0.30? You don't reference it in your travelogue.
Name of the music please 🙂
In what month were there?
Hey guys, really love this video my partner and I are binge watching your videos at the moment! So well shot and you guys seem so sweet! Fellow Australian Turkish fan here 🎉❤
Most of the fruit and vegetables from the open market come from outside turkey like Mexico or Africa sometimes if you're lucky you will find local fresh fruit and vegetables you can buy it at the same price at Negroes
Do not travel there; they decided to reduce their stray dog population by confining them to dog death camps, so-callled "shelters." Dogs are considered "dirty" by Islam, and Turkey is not any different. Think of the animals that are dying there, and check the news provided by "Species Unite" and other networks.
Great video.. now i am ready to try Turkey this september… Thank you!!!
Wonderful ❤ amazing 👍✅
