Hello. "Enjoy Japan Tour". In this video, we will introduce the recent situation at Niigata Station, focusing on CoCoLo Niigata’s [EAST SIDE] . (As of May 17, 2024) In front of Niigata Station East Ticket Gate. There were more people than I expected considering it was a Friday . Let’s enter CoCoLo Niigata’s [EAST SIDE] 2F. “HAPPY SHOP”. Next to it is "Bakauke STATION". You can buy “Bakauke,” which is only available in Niigata. This is "Kubota NIGATA". This is a store specializing in alcohol. On the left side, “hometown” souvenirs are sold. If you go ahead, you will find “Tully’s Coffee”. It was a good idea to come on a weekday because it would be so crowded on Saturdays and Sundays that I wouldn’t be able to take good photos . If you go straight from here, you will find Bic Camera. If you go further to the back (east), you will find “Kumazawa Shoten”. It’s a large bookstore, so it’s great for book lovers. Walk past the bookstore. There is a Yasuda yogurt shop. “HANAGATAYA” sells ramen from all over the country. There are various shops like “Aunt Stella’s Cookies” in the basement of a department store . “Hyakkaen” “Osakaya” I returned to the CoCoLo entrance area. Turn right and you will see “Seijo Ishii”. Now go west again. Kototoya, located next to Seijo Ishii, is a select food shop that sells delicious food from all over Japan . Next to it is "Kaldi Coffee Farm". I’m happy for Cardi fans. The name before “Kaldi” is “HANAGATAYA”. We also sell curry from all over the country. It will be in front of “Yasuda Yogurt” and beyond that will be “Kumazawa Shoten”. Turn left (north) at “Kumazawa Shoten” and “Kaneko Optical Shop” will be on the left. If you go further, you will find “MUJI”. There is a rest area in front of “MUJI” where you can drink free water and MUJI original coffee for 100 yen . As you walk along the aisle, you will see the clothing store “Honeys” on your right. The west side of “Honeys” is “3COINS+plus”. If you go back to the “Muji” side and go to “Kumazawa Shoten”, you will find “Bar★Men Yokocho”. Go around the alley. It wasn’t crowded as it was after 3 o’clock on a weekday, but the aisles were lined with chairs and on Saturdays and Sundays, there was a long waiting list at every store. In front of the east ticket gate. Next, let’s go to [EAST SIDE] 1F. Take the escalator down to the 1st floor. If you are visiting Niigata Station for the first time in a long time, you will be surprised to see the “Katareum” and “CoCoLo Niigata” and wonder how great the station has become . When you get down to the first floor, you will find a huge open space. The name “Gatarium” is a combination of “Niigata’s “lagoon” + atrium.” This atrium plaza is a space that can be used for a wide variety of purposes as the gateway to Niigata . [WEST SIDE] Enter the 1st floor. “ALBION DESSER” “Sock Shop” “Zoff” The “Information” center is located here. Bag & Luggage’s “ACE” When you exit from here, you will find “Katarium”. “RANDA” and “PLAZA” are here. It was a bit early, but I was hungry so I decided to have dinner at Bar★Men Yokocho. I went with local fish and Niigata Wagyu beef "Isse". When I looked at the menu, everything looked delicious and was reasonably priced. I had a seafood rice bowl set meal with plenty of seafood . Tuna, shrimp, salmon… all were fresh and delicious. [EAST SIDE] Go to "CoCoLoMart" on the 1st floor. When you get off the escalator, you will find "MEIJI-YA" on the right side. For meat, go to “MEAT JOY PARK Sato Meat”. “MEIDI-YA” here has a wide variety of products, and you will be surprised when you come here for the first time. We also sell original bags. There are so many seasonings that it’s hard to choose. “Mr. Donut” is popular here as well. If you come to “CoCoLoMart,” you can find everything you need when it comes to ingredients. On the left is the “Waku Waku Hiroba” grocery store, where you can buy fresh vegetables and fruits sent directly from local producers , as well as homemade lunch boxes. “Niigata Nakamizu” is a popular restaurant that specializes in side dishes and serves dishes that make use of local ingredients . This is "Saint Marc Cafe". This is yakitori "Torimura". This restaurant was so popular that you had to wait in line. I also introduce it in a separate video, so please take a look if you like.

2024年4月25日に『CoCoLo新潟』がGRAND OPENしました。
『CoCoLo新潟』は170店舗が集まる大型商業施設で、地元新潟の食材やブランド、新業態のショップが多数出店していて、2024年4月25日に【潟リウム】と1F 【WEST SIDE】とEAST SIDE 2Fの『ニイガタバル麺横丁』がOPENし、『CoCoLo新潟』がグランドオープンを迎えました。
GRAND OPENから約1か月が経ち、やや落ちついた？2024年5月17日の新潟駅構内の様子をEAST SIDE、CoCoLoMartを中心に紹介した動画です。
