Hi there! This is WILL TRIP channel. I’ll introduce the best food in Hiroshima. I got reliable info about great restaurant from local and also internet. I enjoyed the food in Hiroshima so much! Please enjoy including honest impressions without any bias! First of all, I’ll introduce restaurant in Hiroshima city. This is a highly popular okonomiyaki restaurant located about a 10-minute walk from the Atomic Bomb Dome It’s said to be the best okonomiyaki in Hiroshima! Shortened business hours, please note! The shining craftsmanship, certainly well-established. Lunchtime is short, but I was able to just barely make it in before 1 o’clock! (Lucky!) "I ordered the most popular menu "meat and egg (soba)" and also "karansha special". Please enjoy the craftsmanship until it’s ready! Up to four pieces can be cooked at once. Lots of cabbage will gradually sink. The steamed cabbage has a surprising sweetness. Here’s the completed okonomiyaki Mostly cabbage, so it’s not heavy at all and I devoured it quickly. It was the most delicious okonomiyaki I’ve ever had! Next is… a highly popular teppanyaki restaurant located in the downtown area. The journey is through the deep street… Must make a reservation! must eat Uni-Kureson! Upon arrival, there were about three groups waiting and we were able to enter in about 20 minutes. Please note that it’s difficult to get in without a reservation on weekends! There were no open seats, and it was so busy! "Koune" is beef shoulder meat, not commonly seen outside Hiroshima. It was my first time trying it, and it was incredibly delicious! Hormone and oyster butter cooked on the teppan It feels like I could eat as many bowls of rice as I want The simmered dish was only 400 yen and so tasty. I wish we had this restaurant in the Tokyo area. and… the most popular menu in here! The exquisite harmony of sea urchin and watercress exceeded expectations in taste! It’s understandable why there are so many repeat customers. Next is… a standing bar near Shintenchi Parco. I want to stop by anytime for a pre-drink or post-drink. Is it really that cheap? I found a cute signboard that caught my eye as I climbed the stairs, I reached the shop. It was around 5 p.m. on a weekday, so there were few customers, we were able to enter without waiting! Since Hiroshima lemon is famous, I promptly ordered a lemon sour. Almost all items on the menu were 350 yen!! All food go well with alcohol! Although the portion size was small, considering the price, the quality was great. Perfect for the second or third stop. Next is… Located about a 5-minute walk from Ginzancho Station, it’s a rare beer-only shop. The way it’s poured makes all the difference in taste! Definitely the best beer in Japan! It opened at 5 p.m., and when I arrived around 6 p.m., there were already more than 10 ppl waiting. We were just in time to be seated before closing at 7 p.m.! Only 2 drinks per person, and they only serve one brand. They are particular about the quality, beer servers, and pouring methods. You can feel their dedication, which builds up expectations…! I ordered a sharp pour and a one-time pour! I was captivated by the magnificent beer pouring skills. The beer was so smooth and delicious. I drank it right away lol They use beer barrels as tables, which is adorable. They love Hiroshima Carp which is baseball team based in HIroshima. It was a great bar that doesn’t compromise on quality. Next is.. This is another highly popular spot near Hiroshima Parco, where regulars gather. High male ratio, rare Japanese sake available, the place to go for hormone dishes Outside the restaurant, there are many boxes of alcohol displayed, indicating the wide variety available. it’s 95% male clientele!! It was all locals. Smoking is allowed inside, so for those who dislike it, please be careful! I tried the recommended A course by the owner. A course/ 4800yen for 2 servings 1. Yasakisashi ( beef heart) 2. Hoppe ( pork cheek） 3. Hormone 4. Gyutan (been tongue) The beef heart is very good for recovery, with no smell or greasiness, just delicious. The pork cheeks were so tender. Literally I could fell off my cheeks! I’m not usually a big fan of hormone dishes, but I was completely satisfied! I definitely want to visit again!! Now, onto a different location… I’ll introduce you to some Miyajima delicacies. First up is a restaurant just a 2-minute walk from Senjokaku, said to be the best in Miyajima for eel rice Sold out by before 12 PM Soft, chewy, light Reservation book is out at 10 AM, and they open at 11 AM we arrived around 12 PM Just in time, as they were almost sold out already Finally got to try the conger eel rice Even as a woman, I felt the portion was a bit small, but the taste was great. Lighter and fluffier than eel. Now, I’ll share a bit about what we ate while strolling through Omotesando shopping street! Located about a 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal, this is where fried momiji originated. Freshly fried and crispy – the best snack There was a long line, but the wait was only about 5 minutes. You hand over your ticket at the counter and select your flavor. We both went for the classic red bean paste. Freshly fried and crispy. If anyone tried other flavors, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Next stop was… It’s a oyster specialty store located about a 4-minute walk from the ferry terminal ou can eat oysters at cheep prices Where you can eat oysters caught that day. You can dine in or take out. These were the limited-time fresh oysters. These were the limited-time fresh oysters. bit small, and personally, I found them average in taste. These were grilled oysters. when they were grilled, they became sweeter and delicious! That’s it for the Hiroshima food tour!
