【Hong Kong Vlog】香港🇭🇰アラサー女ひとり旅編|トラベルライターの香港取材に密着✈️おすすめローカルグルメ、カフェ、お土産など

Good morning. This is YURIE, a travel writer. Today is my fourth day in Hong Kong! I have an appointment this evening, so until then, I’ll be taking photos for an article. I’m also planning to visit some local areas. It’s a little past 8:00 a.m. in the morning. I’m hungry, so I’m going to have breakfast! I walk to the Star Ferry terminal. It was early in the morning, so Arabica was closed. Maybe I’ll have coffee after breakfast… The view from the ferry terminal is beautiful. It is convenient to change the direction of the seat! It’s nice to take the Star Ferry when it’s light out! Taking photos for the article. Arrived at Central. The Star Ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui to Central has a view on the left! Breakfast is porridge! I went to Rafu Ki for the first time in a while. The menu looks like this. It is written in English. There seems to be noodle and light meal menus in addition to congee. I tried the congee with red peppers and fish, and I added liver. I was very impressed with the taste of the pi tan! The liver was more to my liking at the restaurant I visited in the previous vlog. I always burn my mouth when I eat congee lol. I visited the museum next door until I found a seat in the cafe. Cute handwritten menu! Halfway Coffee serves coffee in famous Chinese vessels such as Jingdezhen! It is also stylish that they combine different patterns of cups. The pink cups are also very nice. I have seen them for sale in Hong Kong, but I remember they were quite expensive. I went to Halfway Coffee for the first time in a long time and found that the store has grown bigger. I went to a spice shop nearby to buy some souvenirs! They were out of pepper, so I bought some more for home, and I also bought some hawk’s claws as a souvenir. I found a cat here! It seems to be familiar with people and doesn’t run away from me at all. Not only sold by weight, but also in small packages, so they are great for souvenirs! This time I bought powdered white pepper and whole black pepper. I also recommend the hwaseng pepper! The tree that pops out of the PMQ is always a sight to behold. The famous wall art is also less crowded on weekdays! I came to Odate! This commercial facility was renovated from a police station. This was my first visit to Madame Fu, where I heard they have a dim sum lunch that can be enjoyed by one person. Here is the dim sum menu. The dim sum is beautiful to look at. It is nice to be able to enjoy a little bit of each type! For the hot tea selection, I chose pu-erh tea. Although dark in color, pu-erh tea is not bitter and easy to drink. I took the subway to Tsim Sha Tsui! Hong Kong subway map, easy to read and easy to find transfers. Once there, I leave my luggage at the hotel and head out again. I have a happy hour appointment, so I want to explore the area I am going to for the first time until then. I visit the Cathay store in Taikoo to buy the souvenirs I had been asked to buy. They have a wide variety of original items such as baggage tags and cute teddy bears. You can use your "Cathay" Asia Miles or pay by card to purchase these items. I was able to buy the souvenirs I was asked to buy at the Cathay store! I go to a nearby place that looks like a local food court. I believe the area of Taikoo was an area where many Japanese people live, too! I stop at a local food court in Xiwanhe, next door to Taikoo. I buy some snacks and dinner and go home. I follow an old man who is getting take-out and find a park! I imitate him and eat here lol. The snack was Hainan Chicken Rice! It was $40 and quite big. The taste is also authentic! This is stewed beef intestines and radish! I bought these for dinner, but they were so good I couldn’t stop eating them. It was fun to walk around the local area! I took a bus to Wan Chai. I missed the bus and ended up in Central. It’s a good thing I missed the bus, because I got a beautiful view of the city lol. I met up with a friend I got to know on Instagram at the St. Regis in Wan Chai! The menu seems to be a map of Hong Kong. Interesting! Before going back to the hotel, I went for my usual foot massage. The massage was over. I was so sleepy, lol. I would like to go back to the hotel after stopping by IFC. I didn’t take any video until I got back to the hotel, so day4 ends with the view from the bus. Today is the fifth and final day in Hong Kong. It is the last day. I left Hong Kong city around 2:00 p.m. and headed for the airport. After checking in and leaving my luggage at the airport, I plan to do a little sightseeing at the end of the day. Therefore, I will check out of the hotel first. For my morning stroll, I will walk from the hotel to K11 Musea! It is the last day in Hong Kong. The air is clean and the weather is perfect! Giant spheres are buried in the mall atrium. I bought additional Hong Kong souvenirs to take home. I also found the leek version of Lee Kin Kee bagged noodles that I had been looking for for a long time! I picked up my luggage at the hotel and am now on my way to Hong Kong Station. In-town check-in and drop off my luggage. I plan to stroll around Central, have some lunch, and then head to the airport. The in-town check-in service, which was closed during the pandemic, has been restored, so I will use it. You can check in at Hong Kong Station just like at the airport counter. You can also check in your checked baggage here, so you can enjoy your last day light! You can also pick up your ticket here, so when you arrive at the airport, all you have to do is go through security. Check-in is complete! The baggage deposit area was a manned counter, not a coin locker. I was able to leave my luggage at the station. It costs 60 HKD per luggage for 3 hours, cash only. I showed my passport and received a voucher. I was able to leave my luggage with them and I’m going to have lunch! Climbing up the harsh slope, lol. The driver was too awesome to go through this narrow road. Since I was close by, we stopped at a store famous for Hong Kong milk tea. This time, I decided to take out. There seems to be an eat-in space inside where you can also have a meal. It was delicious and not too sweet. For lunch, I went to a popular local restaurant in Sheung Wan. I was lucky to be seated at the first turn of the line. I was glad to be seated on the first turn. Since the seats are shared, I felt that if I was alone, I would be able to get into the gap and sit down quickly. As usual, I had the beef belly noodle soup. It’s very close to the next person and the chopsticks are long, so it’s very challenging to eat lol. Airport Express, just gone….cry! Checking the pictures I took, I wait for the next train. After about 25 minutes, I arrived at the airport! I have already done in-town check-in, so I go straight to security. Through security and into the lounge. I think this was the most surprising airport lounge I’ve ever visited lol. I plan to report on the details of the first class lounge in another video, so stay tuned! I will be flying Cathay Pacific again on my return trip. This time, I stayed in Hong Kong for 4 nights and 5 days, which was a little bit longer than usual. I still feel a little sad at the moment I boarded the plane for my return trip. I boarded a business class flight on my way back. Bye bye Hong Kong! I’ll be back soon! I could see a beautiful sunset from the plane. The in-flight meal was delicious even though I had eaten so much, and I ate normally, lol. On the way back, we arrived at Haneda in a little over 4 hours. It was very short time. Cathay Pacific business class was very comfortable. Arrival at Haneda Airport. This time, I was covering Hong Kong for 4 nights and 5 days, so even though it was work, I had a lot of fun! I will make a vlog of the flight and lounge in another video. Please look forward to it as well! Thank you for watching the Hong Kong vlog to the end. I look forward to seeing you again in the next video!
