two places to go to in Japan’s dinosaur town katsuyama in fukui prefecture first visit the fukui prefectural Dinosaur Museum there are around 50 dinosaur skeletons on display here and 10 of those are original fossils they also have dinosaur animatronics like this T-Rex and fukui Raptor their food at the restaurant are also dinosaur themed and yes we left a fortune at their shop because we bought a lot of dinosaur stuff second do not miss s Temple this is by far the coolest Temple I have ever been to with over a thousand statues from Florida ceiling and having one of the tallest sitting Buddha in Japan this place made me feel tiny not to mention there was nobody there it was pretty quiet on a Sunday afternoon so if you want to go to other prefectures give fukui a visit

Will definitely check this place out when I visit Japan, Fukuiraptor has always been an extremely overlooked dinosaur and would love to see an actual skeleton.
