SUB) Paris Vlog🇫🇷Part 1|気ままにひとりヨーロッパ| 定番&穴場スポット巡り|オルセー&オランジュリー美術館🎨|オテル・ドゥ・ラ・マリーヌ⚓️|仁川空港の深夜トランジット
This time, I will use my paid time during Golden Week to visit 4 countries in Europe 🙌 First, I will head to Paris on a Korean Air flight via Seoul ✈️ I successfully checked in at the counter The exchange rate was 169.83 yen for 1 euro… 😵💫 (Still, this (It’s cheaper than when I was making the vlog…lol) I assumed that I would be paying with a credit card, so I only exchanged 10,000 yen. After the security check, I waited for my boarding time at a rest area called "Oliver Sky Oasis". I was so excited about going to Paris that I decided to check out Midnight in Paris. Download the soundtrack 🎷 Also Emily in Paris 💐 I flew to Seoul on Korean Air. I was able to board safely 👏 It was a 2 and a half hour flight and I didn’t think there would be any in-flight food, but I was surprised when it was served in full… 😂 The Korean person sitting next to me had used up all of his Gochujang tubes😳 I just added a little bit of it and ate it🌶️Lol at Incheon Airport soon. I got off the plane. I arrived at 11:00 PM and was leaving tomorrow at 10:00 AM. It is possible to enter the country and stay at a hotel, but since it is a hassle, we will use the transfer lounge at Incheon Airport. The transfer lounge is a space for people transferring at Incheon Airport, and it has a slightly larger lounge space, shower booth, and a place where you can take a nap. There is a nap space. I wanted to use the nap space, but it was full 😢 I’ll spend it until morning on the sofa with a footrest. Just before dawn, there was one seat available in the nap space ✨ After all, it’s easier to lie down ~ The sun has already risen ☀️ It’s time to board. Seoul → Paris is a joint flight with Air France. It’s a 14-hour flight from Seoul to Paris🙌 I’m happy with the new and clean seats 🥰 After 2 hours of boarding, it’s time for the in-flight meal. I’m so happy about the luxurious in-flight meal ☺️ I haven’t eaten anything since last night, so I’m hungry 🤤 The wooden cutlery is cute 🌿 The corn and paprika salad has a French flavor ☺️ I’m satisfied with the chunky chicken The towel was as strong as a towel handkerchief, and I was impressed by the aromatic smell. After-meal coffee. When I added sugar, it tasted like brown sugar juice. I arrived in Paris at night, so I tried to use it on the plane as much as possible. I woke up 👀 I downloaded various Netflix and podcasts, but the flight was so long that I still got tired of it 🥲 The AirFly I bought for this flight had a Bluetooth-enabled seat monitor, so I didn’t need it. 😂 It suddenly got dark…! I was so excited about the latest monitor 👀✨ I had so much free time that I was spinning the globe 🌏 An hour and a half before we arrived, we were given a snack set ☺️ I was looking forward to the AirFrance specialty as it seemed like it ✨ The potato salad was delicious 🥔 This bread was Ham and cheese sandwich🧀 It also included fried onions and tasted like gratin. I was pretty full from the ham and cheese sandwich, so I’ll take bread and muffins home for snacks. They’ll be arriving soon…! Before I knew it, the lights in the colors of the French flag were on 🇫🇷 Safely arrived in Paris 🙌 I’m always anxious at the first airport. Setting up an eSIM while waiting for immigration📱 I used to Airalo’s 3GB, but it ran out in about 3 days. So I switched to Holafly unlimited plan. I got more stamps on my passport✌️ This time I was traveling to 4 countries, so I came with carry-on luggage only, so I skipped checked baggage👌 Trains are said to be unsafe, so I took the Rosie bus to Paris. Bought a ticket at the ticket vending machine 🎫 I was approached by a woman who was also from Japan and we got on the bus together ✨ I feel relieved when I meet Japanese people overseas😮💨 The cityscape is starting to look like Paris🥰 The ordinary buildings are cute… Arrived in Paris! The Rosie bus stops next to Opéra Garnier. I decided to go out to dinner with someone I met at the airport 🚕 (I’ll call her sister 🙎♀️) The candles at the restaurant I found near my sister’s hotel were lit. It’s a stylish restaurant. Dinner abroad tends to fill up the desk 😂 It was my first time trying things like artichokes and asparagus cream…! The food and wine were delicious and I’m so happy🤤 She has been to Paris many times, So she told me a lot about recommended places and things to be careful of🥰 Thank you for the meal. It’s a good start to my solo trip 🥰 It was late at night, so I took a taxi to the accommodation 🚕 Due to the weak yen, I wanted to save money on hotels, so I chose a hostel "Nation", which was a little far from tourist spots. At a certain hostel, I was worried because the entrance was locked, probably because it was midnight, but I happened to be helped by another guest who had just returned from an outing 😂 Apparently there was a staff member nearby. , Hostel staff was behind the check-in counter but he was hidden 😂 I’m glad I went in anyway! ! This is on a bunk bed in a women’s only room. I wanted to save money on accommodation, so I stayed in a hostel. I was worried about bed bugs because the space is about 10,000 yen per night, but it was clean and there were no problems at all. 👌 (I checked the gaps just to be sure) There was an outlet near the bed. 🔌 The water area is separate for men and women, but they are shared on the same floor. The photos on the reservation site are clean, but in reality…I was worried about things like that, but they were thoroughly cleaned. It was nice and clean. The shower room was small I couldn’t reach my arm especially in the changing room.😂 I’ll be taking care of you here for three days from today🙏 Good morning. I’m a little scared to get off the bunk bed. The food I brought back from the plane. The blueberry muffin was especially delicious. I went to the top floor of the hostel. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, but in the morning it is a lounge that guests can freely use. In addition to indoor seating, there is also terrace seating. There is also a square in front of you, so the view from the terrace is very nice…! You can also see the Eiffel Tower 👀 It looks like you can see it lit up at night. Today I’m walking around Paris wearing clothes that are easy to adjust to the heat. I’m carrying a zippered shoulder bag to prevent losing valuables and pickpocketing ✌ I’m glad it’s sunny 🌞 I’m off to the streets of Paris right away 🚶♀️➡️♩ When I checked in yesterday, the lobby was dark and didn’t give a good impression, but in the morning it was refreshing and stylish~🥰 There was a 24-hour supermarket next to the hostel. Very convenient! I’m planning to walk a lot today, so I’ll buy some water. I’ll see a tree I’ve never seen before, and a pigeon eating a flower🕊️ Take the metro to the center of Paris🚇 I’m thankful that the hostel is close to the metro, about 5 minutes away…! For some reason, the ticket vending machine only accepted charges, so I bought the ticket at the manned ticket counter🎫 I was able to get on the train safely. The Paris subway system is easy to understand for travelers as the price per ride is regardless of the distance. A refreshing morning. Paris 🥰 First of all, I came to the Opéra Garnier 🥰 Tickets can be purchased in advance, but this time I’ll line up and buy the tickets (as it’s the morning after a long flight, my plan is to go if I’m feeling well). We started lining up at 10 a.m. and waited in line for about 30 minutes 👫 There was no free Wi-Fi for tourists, so it was tough 😂 Purchase your tickets safely Once you pass the reception desk, you’ll be greeted by a circular lobby. This space alone is already exciting . As you pass through, you will be greeted by a sculpture called the Pythian Fountain. Climb the stairs surrounding both sides of the sculpture. When you look up at the top of the stairs, it’s already so gorgeous…! Every step you take, the more glittering decorations become more and more exciting. The atrium that reaches the ceiling is said to be 30 meters high😳 The floor, walls, and ceiling are all beautiful✨It can be used as a social gathering space for aristocrats in between theater performances. The Grand Foyer used is simply a luxurious and beautiful space. Everywhere you look, it sparkles 360 degrees. Every detail is meticulously decorated, and I was really impressed. As I entered the theater hall, it was a very luxurious space. …! The Opéra Garnier is still in use, and you can actually watch opera and ballet performances. I wanted to see opera and ballet, but I didn’t know about the dates I could go to. Some preparations were being made on the stage. The ceiling paintings are based on the operas “The Magic Flute” and “Swan Lake.” The colorful ceiling paintings and glittering decorations make the space itself look like a jewelry box. I thought I’d go there if I had the time, but it has become my favorite place and I recommend it as a must if you’re going to Paris. I’m going to go to the Starbucks near the Opéra Garnier. The interior is super luxurious…! It was introduced on Instagram, so I’ve always wanted to visit this store. The Paris-only goods are too cute, so I didn’t buy it because I had to plan for later dates, but I should have bought it. Thefood was all unfamiliar, so I was excited. 🥰 I’m planning on walking a lot today, so I’ll take out a snack to eat when I’m tired. I’ll take out a cafe latte and cinnamon roll. I have a place I want to go to next, so I decided to take out , but I took a quick look at the interior. 👀✨ It’s really luxurious, like a room in a castle ✨ Even though it’s so luxurious, it’s a relaxing space, as expected from the Starbucks interior 👏 Grab a take-out latte and head to your next destination with Starbucks in hand. The streets of Paris 🥰 I came to a famous department store near the Opéra Garnier. The center has an atrium and a cupola of stained glass. The space looks like a castle. The interior is decorated with fine stained glass. The decoration is really beautiful. When you go up to the 4th floor, you can get a closer look at the Coupole. The decorations on the pillars are also detailed and beautiful. Thanks to the beautiful space, you can’t help but want to try out the high-end brands 🥹 Even if they are tax exempt, they are still too expensive to buy 😂(due to the weak yen) Check out the souvenir corner on the 4th floor 👀 There are so many Parisian illustrations, they are so cute…! Paris at dawn…maybe? This is also cute I came to the rooftop Opera Garnier and the Eiffel Tower can be seen The presence of the Eiffel Tower that can be seen no matter where you are…! I’m looking forward to seeing the champagne flash in the evening 🥰 I bought the Paris Museum Pass at the travel information desk. I calculated it in advance and it was a little cheaper to get the museum pass. I had tea with a lady I met at the airport. I decided to go to Galeries Lafayette’s underground department store. I was worried because there were so many attractive shops, but I went to Dalloille, which seemed to be the easiest place to have a cup of tea. Since it wasn’t lunch yet, I decided to have some pain au chocolat as well. Not too sweet chocolate for a light dinner🍫 It was simply delicious…! It was a feast…! The department store’s sweets and prepared foods section is recommended for solo travelers as you can eat quickly ☺️ Split up with your sister and head to the next place 👀 It’s about a 20 minute walk so we’ll walk 🚶♀️➡️ You can see Place de la Concorde Our destination was the Hotel de la Marine, right in front of Place de la Concorde✨ I entered with the museum pass I had purchased earlier. I had reserved a visit time, but nothing was checked☺️ 💦 The audio guide is amazing as it seems to be the latest equipment with free rental headphones.😳✨ The audio guide also has Japanese, so it was interesting as it was like a radio drama👀 It was originally used as a "royal furniture storage", and then Hotel de la Marine, which became the "Ministry of the Navy" First, we took a tour of the apartment where the director of the furniture storage room lived. The plain hallways are so tasteful…! The director’s work room, the "Press Room" where he declared the liberation of slaves. The work room is so beautiful… The director’s bedroom furniture and wallpaper, with its cute pale green color , have been restored or recreated from the time. Bathroom 🛁 " Banquet room" where the table coordination is so cute "Entertainment room" where aristocrats gambled Various types of game tables were placed "Director’s wife ‘s bedroom" where the colors of the wallpaper and furniture are too cute There are dolls reproducing the costumes of the day 👀 Such a cute study room, the room where Marie Antoinette’s assassination was signed, Every room is beautiful down to the details, such as the floor and wallpaper… Even the “Hall of Mirrors”, which is said to have been used for night activities, is made of parquet. The table was made of wood, and I was fascinated by its amazing technique. The "Salon" was used as a social gathering place for aristocrats. The rotating monitor showed the aristocrats dancing (I couldn’t take a picture of it because of the reflection😂) In Paris, there was a belief that “culture and art are useful for diplomacy,” and the Ministry of the Navy was said to be putting a lot of effort into culture and art. This exhibit was interesting and well thought out, introducing great people who were active in the Age of Discovery Before I knew it, I was really concentrating. 😂 Finally, the loggia (balcony) There was a carving on the ceiling, each of them has a different motif. It will be open to the public in 2021, and it was relatively empty, probably because it’s not very well known yet So I was able to enjoy it slowly. In front of you is the Place de la Concorde and the Eiffel Tower.✨ Not only the interior, but also the way the exhibits are displayed is interesting, with an audio guide that understands your current location and an explanation on a life-sized monitor screen, giving you a realistic view of history and how people lived at the time. It was the most interesting historical building I’ve ever visited. The interior is beautiful, and I think even people who aren’t interested in history will enjoy it🥰 It’s right in front of Hotel de la Marine. This is the filming location for The Devil Wears Prada, and this is where Andrea threw away her cell phone. I first became interested in Paris after watching “The Devil Wears Prada” It’s a place I’ve always wanted to visit, so I was very happy to come. I was so happy (the water splash was more intense than I expected and I laughed 😂) On this day too, there were people who looked like they were taking pictures for a fashion magazine, I thought it was a fashionable spot. As we passed Place de la Concorde, the Seine River spread out. I could see the Eiffel Tower beautifully again✨ Next, I will go to the Musée d’Orsay. The night view on the banks of the Seine River looks beautiful as well…✨ I came to the Musee d’Orsay. There were a lot of people waiting in line, With the museum pass, I was able to enter without lining up😳 I’m not really interested in museums, but I like works by Impressionist artists such as Monet, and the Musée d’Orsay has a large collection of Impressionist works, so I decided to come here. The fact that it is housed in a building that was originally a railway station is also a highlight. This clock also dates back to the railway station era.First, let’s take a look at the limited-time special exhibition themed on "Impressionism in Paris in 1874." Here From among the many exhibits, I would like to introduce a work that particularly caught my eye. I like this kind of soft landscape painting the most.It gives an impression of Monet and the use of sunrise colors is beautiful, and it really caught my eye among the many works. It is usually stored in the Musée Marmottan Monet, but it seems that it was collected for a special exhibition. I only know of Monet’s paintings of water lilies, but even from a distance, this painting has a touch and color that makes it clear that it is Monet’s work. use You can see why so many people love Monet. That’s all for the special exhibition, and let’s take a look at the year-round exhibition👀 Thereare also many Rodin’s Thinker sculptures in the collection, but we’ll skip them this time🥺 The 1874 Impressionist sculpture I only saw the special exhibition and skipped the rest and went up to the top floor where the Impressionist exhibition corner is located. The clock inside the station can be seen even more beautifully✨ This is also the famous clock tower of the Musée d’Orsay. This is the view of Paris seen from behind the clock. It looks like you can see the Sacré-Coeur Basilica, which has a very nice cityscape but I couldn’t see it because I didn’t know the direction. From here, I went back to see Monet’s work Woman with a Parasol, which he wrote in memory of his wife who died from an illness, so it’s sad… This work was written by Monet when he stayed in the Netherlands. I’m looking forward to visiting the Netherlands during my stay in Europe. I’m especially looking forward to the tulip fields🌷 I’m glad I was able to see Monet’s paintings of the Netherlands beforehand🥰 The tulip fields are as tall as a person. The unique touch of the water lily painting is beautiful, and the mysterious use of color draws you in… I’m also looking forward to going to the Orangerie Museum, which deals with Monet’s water lilies. From here on, Van Gogh’s works, Even though I’m not a fan of Van Gogh’s works, I’m drawn into the Unique touch A unique view of the world, both before and after Van Gogh was said to have suffered from mental illness, and after learning about this, I became even more drawn to Van Gogh’s paintings. Van Gogh’s works depicting “night” are full of light. I especially like the way it’s expressed, as it’s like the world of a picture book. It’s said that Van Gogh could see more vividly at night than during the day. I came here to see the buildings, but all the works are beautiful, and I think it’s nice to visit the museum sometimes. That’s what I thought☺️ I was able to see the works of Degas and Gauguin, whose names I only knew from the movie “Mid Night in Paris”😌 Next, I will go to the Orangerie Museum✨ Cross the Seine River towards Place de la Concorde Before entering the Musée de l’Orangerie, I took a short break. I bought a cinnamon roll at Starbucks in the morning 🥰 It had a stronger cinnamon sugar taste than Japanese cinnamon rolls and made me want to drink coffee 🥤 lol Eat something sweet Full of energy ✊ (Simple) Arrival at Musée de l’Orangerie Among the works in the collection, I would like to introduce a painting with particularly beautiful colors. Although they are all based on the same water lily pond, each painting has a completely different color and atmosphere, which is truly a testament to the artist’s sensibilities. That’s what I thought👀✨ It made me want to cherish everyday landscapes even more, thinking about how different seasons, times of day, and places you cut them can give you such different impressions.🥰 It’s a masterpiece with a height of 2 meters and a width of 91 meters when connected. So, I was surprised not only by its beauty but also by its size. When I got closer, I could see it in a different way, and I was able to enjoy it thoroughly🥰 In addition to Monet’s water lilies, there was a special exhibition by an American artist named ROBERT RYMAN . He seems to be a minimalist painter, and I was fascinated by his concept. The sense of blank space is irresistible…! The titles are all "untitled", and I like how they intentionally don’t have any titles… Recently, I’ve been wanting art that allows me to enjoy the texture of white, and I want it even more now🥺 Musée d’Orsay and Musée de l’Orangerie I came across a lot of works that I don’t usually see, and I thought it would be nice to go to museums once in a while🥰 I’m going to go to the Louvre Museum through the Chuluyrie Gardens. The Cheruyly Park is spacious, tranquil, and relaxing. We arrived at the Louvre Museum. The exterior alone is so gorgeous! The glass pyramid is more than twice as big as I imagined. We wanted to see the light up, so we had dinner at a nearby restaurant until sunset 🍽️ In front of the restaurant we had planned. I ended up going to the wrong restaurant, but miraculously they had the beef tartare I wanted. I decided to sit on the terrace and wait for the sunset. I had some red wine and some water, feeling sorry for the low price per customer as I was alone. I also ordered it 😂 Looks delicious! ! ! ! The beef tartare I wanted to eat the most while I was in France🥩 It was a plate of potatoes and salad, and it was enough on its own🫶 Is this blanc bread? I was looking forward to the beef tartar with basil, garlic, parmesan cheese, and chili peppers, and it was just so delicious! The salad was bitter and went well with the beef tartare 🥹 The potatoes were fluffy, thick and delicious…! I thought it would be a nuisance since I was alone, but I was relieved because a lone French madam was sitting next to me 😮💨 lol It was so delicious! I loved it so much that I definitely want to repeat it when I come to Paris again 🥰 The sun is gradually setting, I had already walked 20,000 steps today, and I was wondering if I should go home, but I felt energized 💪🔥 Light up The Louvre Pyramid came into view △ The Louvre Museum is lit up ✨ The orange lights are beautiful The sun hasn’t fully set yet, but the atmosphere is still so nice…! The illuminated Louvre Pyramid makes it more transparent and looks even more mysterious✨ Since it was a Friday, the Louvre Museum was open until 10pm, but I feel like I will be able to visit the Louvre Museum again with someone someday. I did n’t go inside this time, but there is a place where you can see the inside of the building from outside, so I’ll go check it out👀There are a lot of sculptures in the large space…! This time I skipped the Louvre Museum, but I would like to take a day to visit it someday. From here, I’ll start touring around the tourist attractions lit up. First, I’ll take the train to the Arc de Triomphe. I’m getting used to the Paris subway. ✨ I found an advertisement for SPY×FAMILY at the station 🔍 When I left the station and climbed the elevator, I saw the Arc de Triomphe lit up in front of me…✨ Wow, it’s beautiful…! And it’s more than three times bigger than I imagined…! People look so small 👫👫 I turned to the left. It’s beautiful from every angle ✨ You can’t go inside at night, but the illumination was more beautiful than I imagined and I was satisfied 🥰 To end today’s day , I came to the Eiffel Tower. The illuminated Eiffel Tower is so beautiful…! The purpose is to flush the champagne, but since it happens once every hour, we take a break at the cafe (I should have reversed the order with the Arc de Triomphe 😂) We took a break at the cafe until the time for the next champagne flush ☕️ The cafe is open until such a night. I’m so grateful…! Even though it was night, there were many different types of sweets.Since I didn’t have an eclair and a cafe latte, I chose a carefully selected eclair from a lot of sweets for after-meal sweets I went for an espresso latte that seemed to be similar. My long-awaited Parisian patisserie🍰eclair , The cream inside was rich and delicious with chocolate. I drank the espresso while pouring milk. The amount of milk was about 2 or 3, and I enjoyed the taste changing little by little. The cookies that came with the latte were also sweet, crunchy, and delicious. 🥰 It’s almost time for the champagne flash My long-awaited champagne flash at the Eiffel Tower🍾 It’s so beautiful…! The Eiffel Tower is sparkling from top to bottom. My long-awaited champagne flash was really worth coming all the way here😭✨ It was a very happy 5 minutes🥰 The place where I saw the Eiffel Tower was the Palais Chaillot, which has a great view and is recommended. When I arrived at the hotel, it was almost midnight. I was worried about being a woman walking alone so late at night, but the place I went to this time didn’t feel unsafe. Before I knew it, I had walked 30,000 steps. That’s all for the second day. Next time,I’ll be uploading a vlog of my stay in Paris part 2 ❤︎ I’ll be uploading a vlog of Versailles Palace, Ile de la Cité, and sightseeing in Montmartre. I’d be happy if you could come see me again 🥰
