Hello, this is Life in Shikoku. Today we are going to Nanyo area in Ehime Prefecture to see irises and hydrangeas. We came to Iris Festival at "Nanrakuen Garden" in Uwajima City. Pass between the two ponds to the East Iris Garden. Beautifully maintained Japanese garden any time of the year. Arrival at East Iris Garden. The purple borders are elegant. Go to West Iris Garden. We came to the West Iris Garden by the pond. Beautiful contrast of hydrangea and iris. The irises look wonderful in the surrounding landscape. Let’s leave Nanrakuen Garden. Yusutani area, Shirokawa-cho, Seiyo City. Park at the community center (Yusukawa Chiikizukuri katsudo Center) and walk a little. At the sign, turn right. Arrival at the iris garden. An iris garden with approximately 2,000 irises started by a private individual. Splendid. Beautiful colorful irises. Noigawa River flows by the iris garden. Relaxing scenery of a quiet mountain village. Let’s leave the iris garden of Yusukawa. Hydrangea at Rest Stop "Seiryu no Sato Hijikawa", Hijikawa-cho, Ozu City. They were planted by staff members in 2014. They are blooming beautifully. Now that’s a fine hydrangea garden. Lovely color. Let’s leave "Seiryu no Sato Hijikawa". Thank you for watching. こんにちは、Life in Shikoku です。愛媛県の南予地方へ、菖蒲やアジサイを見に行きました。まず、宇和島市「南楽園」の花菖蒲まつりへ。広大な日本庭園を散策しながら、きれいな菖蒲と風景を満喫しました。次に、西予市城川町 遊子谷（ゆすたに）地区の菖蒲園へ。山間の静かな地区に、2千株の 美しい花菖蒲が咲き誇っていました。

最後に、大洲市肱川町 道の駅「清流の里 ひじかわ」のアジサイを鑑賞。色とりどりの可愛いアジサイを満喫しました。この景色を、一緒に楽しんで頂けたら嬉しいです。

Hello, this is Life in Shikoku. We went to Nanyo area in Ehime Prefecture to see irises and hydrangeas. First, we visited the iris festival at “Nanrakuen Garden” in Uwajima City. We enjoyed the beautiful irises and scenery while strolling through the large Japanese garden. Next, to the iris garden in Yusutani area of Shirokawa-cho, Seiyo City. In a quiet mountainous area, 2,000 beautiful irises were in full bloom.

Finally, we viewed the hydrangeas at “Seiryu no Sato Hijikawa” Rest Stop, Hijikawa-cho, Ozu City. We enjoyed the colorful and lovely hydrangeas. We would be happy if you enjoy this scenery with us.
