I loved this hike as it combined stunning views of the coastline & Mt Rishiri (on the neighboring Rishiri Island) with a large amount of alpine flowers even in September 🪻⛰️
Surprisingly, I even managed to spot an ‘usuyuki-so’ (Rebun’s endangered Edelweiss species) despite these flowers blooming in July!
