Oga lotus is a 2000-year-old ancient lotus whose seeds were discovered in a ruin in Chiba Prefecture in 1952. The best time to see the flowers is from late June to late July. Since it was a little early, I went to the park to take a video of the water lilies. Next I visited "Yamanokami Lotus Garden". It is known as a lotus garden where if you are lucky, you can see ducks. In addition to the ancient lotus, around 10 other varieties are cultivated using fallow fields. The lotus flowers here still have many buds and I think they will soon bloom.
