So today’s ride is going to be a little bit of a relaxed ride, a bit of sightseeing for Andy and myself. We are sitting here in in EBINA Service Area this morning traffic was quite heavy for me coming out because I come on the other side of Tokyo. It’s still a six. 20 right around. But yeah, there are many cars. Yeah, yeah, it’s already busy right now. A lot of BMW’s is here, Andy So that’s great. Right, BMW Motorbikes. So set out some areas around Mt. Fuji that I’d like to go and see. One of them is a Fuji Yoshida. And I’ve seen on the internet that their main road is facing directly in front of Mt. Fuji. So I’m looking to see if I can get down that road. The next one is where Andy and I went on the episode that we made together, which is a Lake Kawaguchi So also that’d be fun, right? Just to head around there as well. Hopefully it’s not too busy and not too much of those those bulky busses carrying the tourists around. And then the other one is, Fujimi Terrace or Fujiyama Terrace It’s a little bit more elevated, so hopefully we can just park up on top there and and get a great view of Fuji as well. Sounds good. So you said, Andy, maybe there’s a good possibility we can see Fuji san today. Maybe, I hope so at this moment as you can see the skies are quite cloudy. Right. So I’m hoping that it’s going to. Be clear enough. Yeah. Yeah. And it’s going to get a little warmer. Yeah, Yeah. Because I’ve got my under layers on. I’ve got my heated jacket already under use so. Yeah. So you’re warm enough. I’m warm enough. It was quite cool this morning heading out. Yeah. Yeah it is now. So Yeah. Andy. So let’s get ready, Let’s head out, let’s get all Sync’d up. Um, uh, Andy and I, we’re headed to our first destination, which is Fuji Yoshida. Andy is sitting nicely behind me there. As you can see, my mirror. The weather is somewhat overcast, so I’m hoping that Fuji sun will appear. Give us a glorious, uh, wave. And all her mighty temperature’s around about ten degrees now at the moment. We just left EBINA just now and my under jacket heater is nice and warm, keeping my core warm. I never really have issues with the legs. Usually the legs. I’m okay. I don’t really need heated gear on my legs. Socks. I typically wear somewhat of a thicker sock under the motorbike boots. The underlay I wear under this motorbike uh, BMW motorbike. wear is the wind blocking? Uh, underlay from TOURATECH that I bought last year just for blocking the wind a little bit. So we’re, uh. It looks like the course that we’re following is I’m going to be taking getting off the motorway, probably about 17 kilometers, I guess that would make sense. Probabily, about 80 kilometers? Uh, out of Tokyo for my starting point. And we’re about 20 kilometers from Fuji. Um, hopefully we can then get a good view. The sun is just rising to the left of me, which would make sense that. That that’s East is. I’m southbound and I do make my intercom in in a pairing mode. Okay, push button A here the LED lamp will quickly blinking blue light Blinking blue light. Yep. Yep. It said starting a pairing. Okay. And then according to this You turn on your intercom power now. Yep. Can you hear me. Not yet Andy…. I have to go into a new menu. Comm pairing completed There we go. Yeah, we are. We’re connected. Yep. I suppose I will turn up my volume. I can hear you can you hear me ? You did it Andy (OMEDETO) congratulations WOW, That’s beautiful, though, just admiring the magnificent beauty here of, uh, the leaves that have turned from the lush green that we’ve had, uh, during the summer months now to, um, uh, beautiful red and, uh, and brown leaves at the moment. Right guys, as you can see here, I’m just passing over the lake here. This is Lake Kawaguchi. Um, so let me just, uh, see if I can get a view of this. It’s absolutely beautiful. There you go. Oh, Andy, we have to stop there somewhere on that side. And that’s where you get the photo. But we can’t see Fuji san Okay. Arch we arrived in Kawaguchi-ko Lake Kawaguchi Yes. We’re supposed to be seeing the beautiful Mount Fuji here in your back…..but……. It’s covered by the clouds. Fuji Sun is hiding today, Andy behind the clouds. But all in all, Andy, we’re out on the motorbike. We can’t complain. If we have to move the blow. Blow the All the clouds away. Go away, cloud Go away. ah…….shame it’s closed…. Careful Andy….
