[Tokyo Walk] Strolling in Asakusa at night when it is lit up

Asakusa is one of the most famous tourist spots in Tokyo, flourishing as a lively district since the Edo period. Places like Nakamise Street in Asakusa Temple, the first amusement park in Japan called “Asakusa Hanayashiki,” and the largest variety theater in Tokyo, “Asakusa Engei Hall,” maintain the unchanged atmosphere of the downtown area. The enormous lantern hanging at Kaminarimon Gate, in particular, gathers attention as a landmark, drawing many visitors. The view of the Skytree and yakatabune boats along the Sumida River is also recommended.
