The tour will visit Chojirotan, the first modern-day route taken by a surveying party led by Shibazaki, as described in Jiro Nitta’s “Tsurugidake: Ten no Ki” (Mt. Tsurugidake: Chronicle of a Point).

To climb Chojirotan, it is necessary to obtain the latest information from nearby mountain huts and the Toyama Prefectural Police Mountain Guard Tsurugisawa Police Station.
