keeps repeating all the messages oh my God it’s how many times in a row my chat’s broken uh poono Ohio Gaz M cat eats Pizza how you doing Kathy 3 Ohio Ohio restarts it’s not going to help cuz this is the same thing that happened last time um even after the crash we came back people’s messages were like triplicated quadruple licated the trucks are causing the buffering I don’t know what to say about that uh I will I will try to move then I guess yeah I don’t know I don’t know does this help if I’m like standing here uh sakur aitana good morning good morning maybe I have to reinstall the app stream and welcome to the channel uh we are in h Kitt in katsushika ward in Tokyo and uh yeah at like same thing that happened two weeks ago or whatever on my live stream that app is showing people’s chat like now it’s not even showing anything but um yeah I think this app needs to either update or needs to be like taken back to an older version or something the chat is weird uh D how you doing good morning but anyways we’re going to we’re going to still try to stream and we’re going to try to get this going and uh have a good time today yeah so anyways um yeah uh what was I gonna say it’s been a while um it’s very warm today it’s humid it was 92% humidity yesterday uh Sakura how are you doing Carl how are you doing it looks like it’s starting to smooth out maybe it might have just been like a bottleneck with something um I’ll I’ll contact the app people and let them know like what’s going on um um I don’t know if I can replicate it but yeah anyways yeah uh what was I going to say um yeah welcome welcome to the stream long time no see I hope everyone’s doing well I hope you guys had a nice you know nice couple weeks and stuff taking care of yourselves uh Mike says corrupted app cash could be cleared out later why deleting and reing the up yeah um I’ll probably try that too thank you for the uh suggestion but uh we go now we go we go um for this stream guys we’re going to be checking out the hoodi kitty Iris Festival um this Festival happens every year here at the hoodie Kitty Iris Gardens and um it’s very beautiful it’s it’s been in so many um ukio Arts like traditional ukio art um there’s pictures of irises a picture of like women in kimono and then there’s like irises and stuff um a lot of that stuff was you know inspired and drawn from iris’s here at the Garden that we’re going to be going to today so um before we go I hope that you guys have some drinks and snacks click the Cog wheel and change it to 1080p we are streaming in 1080 and um you know if I miss your comments and questions uh hells and goodbyes in the chat I apologize in advance like I said we’re having some technical issues again this morning um with the chat it’s it’s being weird but um yeah uh Ally says I just seen a few irises yesterday I can’t wait nice yeah there’s there’s I think three main irises that they have there maybe four and then there’s a whole bunch of other ones um yeah it’s it’s very cool uh Lindsay how you doing uh Sherry good morning how are you doing yes uh what else what else uh if we see cats and dogs we’re definitely going to be counting those um if I see any dragons I will Point them out because it is the year of the dragon and um yeah what else do I say I forget what else I say but anyways yeah let’s uh started yeah good morning Lexi how you doing wow already right off the bat we’ve got this uh old kind of abandoned Shack so in katsushika Ward there’s a lot of areas that are just really old and this is one of those kinds of areas let just kind of run down um you know there’s a mix of old and new in the neighborhoods and stuff nzo how are you Kiana how are you Frank says irises grow wild here they’re all over the forest purple and white and pale yellow ones that’s kind of cool yeah I think the ones that we’re going to see are uh white purple uh kind of like a blue purple Indigo like pale purple um fuchsia I don’t know there there’s there’s a variety of them uh Mel how you doing The Love Shack hey Mom how you doing guys let’s get some hearts in chat for my mom kij may she’s in the chat right now hi Mom how are you doing uh Clockwork good morning oh I hear a dog I heard a dog barking where is [Music] it must be on one of these like balconies did you guys hear it too I heard it yeah hope everyone’s doing well um yeah so we’re walking um towards theik station and then uh I’ll point out some stuff along the way we’re going to walk to the garden and uh the pathway there is pretty cool um yeah there’s a lot of old just old buildings old neighborhoods and stuff around here lots of you know the kind of stachi Vibes you want to get from the old Tokyo neighborhoods yeah where’s that dog dog I wish we could see the dog I hear another dog anyways yeah it’s uh Monday morning y’all Monday morning here in Tokyo this is the old neighborhood of Tokyo maybe the dog was in a car or a truck that went by it sounded like it was from that alley that I uh was looking at like it might have been on the balcony I don’t know but yeah um H Kitty I I haven’t been here really before but I came here yesterday just to scope it out for the live stream and kind of get an idea of like what the neighborhood was like lot of old like mom and pop businesses like this um many of them are actually abandoned um you know just they’ve got the old look to it like Rusty shutters uh like ripped up awnings and stuff P how are you doing these areas were completely destroyed in the firebombing so stuff is no more than 80 years old yeah um still old though a lot of these places ah the sun came out it was nice and cool this morning like 17° C and I think it’s supposed to rise now with the sun coming out to like 22 23 24 so we’ll see how that goes Tracy how you doing Nao says why is the arrow blue first time seeing it oh this is for uh the bike lane the blue is for the bike bicyc Ling all the way down yep so you can see it here in the crossw walk as well or I’m sorry intersection yeah but uh riding in the road is really dangerous so a lot of people just don’t even ride on the blue Lane they just ride on the sidewalk it’s [Music] safer yeah so this road it goes uh um it goes what do you call it South and if if I was to follow this all the way down it would take me along the suita river and towards like uh Sky Tree Tower and stuff uh this sidewalk right here um there’s a lot of these old shops really old local shops um restaurants and stuff this is a a rice store selling different types of rice you can see how how old the the signage is it’s just like peeling uh to says I think if you want old yanak kinza will be best yeah we we’ve been to yanaka Ginza many times uh we went there recently too uh it’s one of my favorite places to take people but yeah like this shop like the the awning thing there’s just like no awning material yeah you can get many of these types of Old Neighborhood Vibes uh especially like Kika edogawa Ward um I a lot of w like tiu adau but anyways it’s like very local this is very local Vibe uh when I came here yesterday I saw Zero foreigners zero so very local old shop selling um [Music] onii uh Michelle good morning how are you yeah there’s uh this Chinese restaurant right here which is actually very popular very um kind of broken awning but uh outside yesterday here there was a long line it went this way and it went around the block like very very popular so I didn’t have a chance to eat there uh Sher says that must be relaxing for you to have it to be so local yeah it’s definitely like it’s out of the way it’s not really like a touristy spot you know my God what’s going on like go left go right I don’t know what you’re doing I just stood still uh JT good morning how you doing uh uratsu family how you doing from OT oh it’s ibow and April how you doing how you doing yeah so they have these flags that we keep passing by these are for the Iris Festival the hodi kitty Iris Festival so we’re going to see that all along the way which is kind of cool and then they also have um these pink lanterns set up all along the way to kind of help guide people towards the the garden the Canadian standoff yeah keep left keep left I think what threw her off though was this guy’s um Yamato delivery bike he was like just powering down the sidewalk and she was like I don’t know what to do there’s a pedestrian on the right he’s coming at me on the left blah blah blah what do I do yeah so um here’s an old soba shop and I actually ate lunch here yesterday looks very kind of unassuming you don’t really see much of a menu outside uh they do have a glass window showing um plastic food which doesn’t really look that good like it’s all like faded and stuff but uh this is what I ate yesterday right here I had um it was a hiashi the uh so SanSai soba this was really good SanSai is uh Mountain vegetables it was cold uh and they use choba and so it’s uh soba noodles made with tea green tea so it had a little bit of a green color we are now outside of a that’s the name of that Garden that we’re going to so this station it’s on the casa line yeah congrats Tracy for being a moist member for one month yay yeah so it’s very tiny tiny station local station there’s only a few Turn Style Gates inside and then uh behind me is this huge wall of all the sponsors for this year’s um Iris Festival wow there’s some Sparrow nests up here there’s a sparrow Nest there and then those guys are just chilling right there hi guys oh oh oh oh oh are you going up yay the mama has returned living on the light yeah nature Tokyo nature y’all swallows yeah they’re swallows what did I did I say Sparrow uh I meant to say swallows yeah so let’s follow this down there’s going to be um a local side street actually you know what instead of going this way I am going to go this way go down a local alley uh Bara good morning Ohio gas yeah we will have to get a drink at some point um it’s humid I got to stay hydrated John how you doing getting strong shaah era Vibes yeah there’s a lot of like shaah hyay era Vibes in this neighborhood it’s like a mix Sun how you doing Jason I knew someone was going to say it and I had it had to be Jason uh AKA uh this sign looks so old it’s a supermarket here yeah and then they have a Daiso inside yeah very cool um when the when the wind blows it feels nice and cool but when it doesn’t blow it’s just so humid my armpits are all sweaty super sweaty yeah so uh today’s plan guys we’re going to go check out that Garden look at iris’s and then afterwards we’re just going to start wandering around the alleys back here there’s like I said a lot of old homes old Vibes in and around this area so it’s going to be really cool I think I think you guys will enjoy it local alley exploration uh Mark Harvey with the $10 says got to stay my guys hearts and chat for Mark Harvey yeah so um I mentioned that the irises are really famous and they show up in a lot of different ukio art so here this one is from uh 1889 this print um and you can see there’s some women here in the kimono and there’s like a bridge and a lot of irises and stuff so this is actually from that Park that we’re going to so it’s a very famous Park it’s very old it’s from the Edo era it’s been around since then and uh it was created by some per uh guy I think who just absolutely loves irises like he was just obsessed with irises and so he just started planting a whole bunch of them and taking care of them and now we we have a giant Iris park or we’ve had it for a long time yep very local coin laundry local laundromat right there with the Italian flag colors there’s uh something cool that I want to show you guys over here but it looks like this silver van is parked right in front of it it’s kind of dark yeah it’s it’s really overcast today guys I’m sorry about the lighting but over here on the side of this place here there’s uh all these statues these are a zodiac [Music] animals Lindsay how you doing uh Ali says isn’t that always how it is just some guy who loves a PL yeah exactly he’s just obsessed so look at like the tiger there’s a what is that a goat uh I see a rabbit here’s a dragon this is the year of the dragon so we do have to point out this Dragon I love their pose it’s like a very strong pose kind of comical in a way it’s a snake horse um oh there’s the ram um I see a monkey and then uh the rooster over there but I can’t see it cuz this guy’s parked right in front of it but um yeah very cool very cool these are all Stone carved out of stone Lindsay’s like Italian nice I’m like a third Italian yeah I wonder if I could see wait can I see it from this side yeah there’s the pig and that’s I think dog and then there’s the rooster mine but it’s like not possible to see cuz of this guy all right let’s keep going excuse me yeah so hope everyone’s doing well um I’m sorry that I haven’t been very active in streaming um or uploading anything it’s just a lot of stuff in real life going on and you know just taking my own time uh there is a shrine here which is kind of cool very local Shrine and then um right over here is the seven gods they have huge statues of the seven gods Mark Johnstone good morning how you doing so these guys are pretty huge very nice yeah is it it’s pretty dark yeah we are um in aisai season also which is a hydrangia so there’s a lot of hydrangeas in bloom all over Japan um there’s a pretty cool uh Long Street here you can see that lot of lot of uh the lanterns the lamps and stuff hanging uh Blackjack how you doing says you have to take a break in July for Dawn Trail too oh that’s true you know what actually didn’t finish n Walker so I have to finish that then do Dawn tril Jason says seven gods son they seem to be missing a statue of me Jason the missing eighth God of Japan yeah what’s nice about this uh trail that they’re showing um they show a lot of different famous art here’s uh something from 1894 woman is uh she’s like picking some irises with some scissors pruning scissors toada says for this month soon will be oga Lotus season Chiba Park is especially beautiful oo nice thank you for the information wow place is covered in Vines yeah we’ve got a lot of flower lovers um a lot of elderly people going to this park when I went there yesterday it was like all old people and photographers there was like no children there was no um um no like like young girls dressed up very prettily who hired a photographer to take their picture um with the flowers and stuff you see a lot of that in other parks with with you know nice Gardens and flowers but uh at this one yesterday there was none of that it was just like straight up old people um very local feeling so I can see this guy in front of me with the camera uh back in the clay how you doing local stuff here it’s like some people just sell stuff like right outside of their house um I don’t even know if this guy has like a legit store like I don’t think that that’s his like he’s just here selling stuff um yesterday he was selling Tomatoes right there Yo Tracy with the Five Guys hearts in chat for Tracy thank you so much Tracy yeah here’s another one wom picking some looking at some irises kopan oh Goos yeah I hope everyone’s doing well um like I was saying you know I hope you guys had a good time um while I was absent on my Hiatus just you know for my own mental health and Stress and Anxiety I just I had to kind of take a break from streaming from uploading from doing stuff uh I just I was playing games to like take my mind off of stress and uh I’m still studying but it’s like man yeah sometimes you just got to do that right you got to treat yourself not treat yourself but you know take care of yourself uh n so hi Cy made cafe or Cat Cafe uh neither I’m a dog person and Maid cafes are extremely expensive and cringey so uh the answer to that would be neither and I’m so sorry to the cat lovers I mean I like cats but I am I would rather go to a Dog Cafe yeah very local uh Street this thing goes straight to the park Sherry says glad you are doing better thank you so much I appreciate that yeah um this road that we’re on I think the nickname for it is hydrangia Road um or flower Road or something like that there’s just a lot of people planting flowers and lots of hydrangea and other things along the way found a pig Cafe in Yokohama on Saturday oh my God yeah some very pretty flowers here uh meline says happy pride month core yeah happy Pride everybody it’s June but you know every month should be happy pride month right excuse me uh to says I think I will go to takarazuka instead of animal cafes yeah me too there’s more art Costa’s world of memory uh music memories Jim and haret good morning says hey Corey keep it moist thought we’d drop in it’s 2:25 a.m. in in Portugal uh catch the replay I hope everyone’s doing okay yeah have a safe trip there that’s amazing um enjoy Portugal I really want to visit there one day yeah so along the way yeah lots of flowers to look at like look at these These are so beautiful I hear a dog in the house barking or howling that kind of purple blue color is really nice wait is it a dog or someone having sex I can’t tell this is a crazy story so oh there are some uh some foreigners there I don’t know if they’re local or tourists or what y Jim and Harriet says bye from Portugal guys hearts and chat for Jim and Harriet costal world of Music memories with the $5 Dono thank you so muchas we will buy a drink with that a dog having sex I don’t know it was weird it was a weird sound yeah some more more local streets here with just the lanterns lining um the lamps are actually very cool too let me zoom in on this lamp yeah can you see it it’s got a it’s got an iris on it it’s kind of hard to see but that’s on all of them cool oh hi a guy in a bicycle stopped by me and he’s just like live live um this is very pretty look at this I like this one right here it’s got the the the gradient look at that it goes from purple to Pink there’s some nice blue ones here love the vibe in this city yeah n ISO I agree um this guy this is someone’s house right here this is their front yard uh very beautiful um I wonder if they’re like controlling the pH level of the soil on purpose this or they’re just like letting it grow randomly cuz that definitely influences the color of the the flowers yeah in um Japanese they aisai aisai uh this person has a bunch of roses they’re very pretty I see a hibiscus or something that looks like a hibiscus I could be wrong the blue is stunning I really like the blue deep deep blues um over here is some hydrangeas they’re kind of more fuchsia colored oh hi okay okay bye-bye this guy’s saying don’t film these houses he says just go to the park I’m like uh it’s okay he’s like I’m going to call the police uh we’re not in trouble it’s just some crazy guy who’s like telling me not to film the flowers or something I don’t give a like it’s not against the law to look at flowers it’s just a weird guy on the bike just following me uh he’s gone now so he left so no worries um Marvin how you doing puff in the house it says I’ve been trying to message ever saying hi but YouTube is broken oh no I’m so sorry to hear that this is very pretty I like when it has the little like bundles of stuff inside and then there’s like the flowers on the outside that’s so cool yeah he was just a weird stalker guy he actually he’s uh he looked like a homeless man on a bicycle U has nothing better to do Frank oh how you doing Cory gives no FS yeah what I’m doing is not illegal oh we’ve got uh one dog there’s a shba enu coming up here enu count number one yay hi dog hi hi so cute yeah the white one’s really nice right at least the cane didn’t come out nah he seemed very like soft spoken it was just being a weirdo um here’s some with more of a nice soft pink color which is really nice Mark with the the enu you know what I think when they they’re trying to update the chat and I can see the the Emojis now which is yeah I can see emojis now which is kind of crazy for the longest time I couldn’t see any of my member emojis and I had suggested to them to fix that so I guess maybe they’re trying um yeah Pink’s going into purples it’s really nice very very nice I know we’re we’re uh supposed to be seeing the Iris Festival but it’s just so hard to get caught up looking at uh like this like really rich blue here Drake how do and says saw a Tik Tok of a blist out Sheba under a c dos that sounds funny blist out dog was living his best life yeah there’s some nice yellow is are these lies like tiger lies yeah that’s nice yeah and then there’s um these interesting ones that are kind of hanging they’re like heavy so they kind of droop down Sasha says don’t forget to stretch and hydrate that’s true for everybody all right let’s uh let’s go into the garden cuz we’re we’re pretty much here as soon as we turn the corner we are there uh wow sorry I’m I’m distracted look at these blues and purples wow that’s so nice Rebecca how you doing yeah it’s a nice little walk right yeah they call this little street that we just walked on a hyena Street like aisai DOI or something like that I like how they look like berries yeah that’s it’s very nice so yeah we are arriving right here this is a h Kitt Shen it’s the name of the the park the garden they had some street food stuff set up over here but uh looks like today it’s not open cuz it’s not the weekend um you know like Yaki soba and stuff like that okon Miyaki this is way less people than yesterday very nice us yeah so this is it guys we have arrived at the the park here very nice I hope everyone’s ready to see a ton of irises look at this this whole like area like all the way back there there’s a lot of irises everywhere there’s um I think over 6,000 irises in this Garden yeah so many different shades and colors different gradients and stuff Naro says I think I saw these kind of flowers in an anime somehow forgot what that’s the title oh yeah and um in front of them they have these boards with the different names on them yeah they they do have a hydrangeas here behind me kind of lining lining the outside area here and they do have um looks like everything is wheelchair accessible which is nice no stairs or anything really but yeah good reference you know if you want to screenshot stuff um I’m going to look at some of these like up close so we all can enjoy them together like look at these uh let me change the camera here yeah that might be better yeah some very interesting like vein stuff Marvin how you doing yeah it’s Monday here Blackjack says Romeo and Juliet had a lot of Iris themes regarding anime yeah I don’t I don’t really watch anime so I don’t know but very very pretty irises yeah like I said the majority are white blue purple and pink some nice pretty white ones right here I like the yellow banding inside um here’s very interesting one with purple and yellow yeah very very pretty sorry just trying to look at it from like different angles very cool huh what do you you guys think there is uh still some of the tutui the um uh aelas here we’ve got some late ones these like really bright pink ones they’re kind of dying off now yeah there’s more more more more more over there we’re going to go check out all of it um let me go around kind of counterclockwise can you cross breeds and get different colors I think so there was uh some signs I saw somewhere it was showing the different types and identifying markers of like the different species and then I think you can definitely cross breed them and create new hybrids and stuff like I like this one here it’s got a kind of like a blue subtle blue purple color to it sher’s like as a gardener I’m totally nerding out hell yeah this stream is for all the flower lovers the plant lovers yeah and I think one thing I really like is also the um the buds the unopened ones like look how cute that is those are cute they’re going to open soon yeah very nice um yeah so the irises I know they have to uh live in basically like submerged Water Area like Marsh Wetland type of stuff so that’s why you see it like all flooded in there and then they have this water that’s just coming around I guess keeping everything fresh um yeah look at that it’s like a little peen that was in cold water true true it’s like meat every day actually very nice let me try to zoom in on some of these flowers here is that a bug or is it damaged I think it’s a bug do you think I would be able to find photos from this on the internet yeah uh Sherry yes definitely um this park has been around for like like aund minimum 100 years uh if not two it’s called hodi Kitty Iris Garden so just look at the title of my video just copy paste that title into Google and uh you will definitely find photos K this is cool too here this one that’s so nice wow I like the white with purple edges yeah me too um like for oh God sorry for the the crazy panning over like this one here it’s white but it has very very subtle purple edging so pretty oh it is so humid in this Garden guys there’s no wind oh my God it’s really bad um lot of photographers here yeah do you guys grow irises at at home or whatnot I know it might be kind of hard work if you don’t have the right setup uh down here this one’s interesting it’s got a like a purple pink color on the outside with yellow inside some of them are just starting to open edging to flowers yes that’s what I do daily actually yeah don’t don’t kink shame me um too difficult to mess with that’s what I figured it takes a lot of work so here’s this sign they have uh in Japanese and English and they talk about the different types um is type higo type Edo type Edo type etype OT type um and then they give examples of it with their names in Japanese and English so this is pretty cool it’s very friendly if you can uh read English hell on Earth oh my God yeah uh oh it looks like there’s a preschool here being pushed around in these orange carts so I’m going to try to turn my camera away from them so I don’t show their faces Sandra’s irises are in water not just regular soil yeah I mean they have to be yeah kind of like wet wet land Marshland type of environment and I think that’s kind of hard to maintain if you don’t have the right kind of [Music] setup you want to be pushing a cart hell yeah let’s go come to Japan we’ll we we’ll find one of these carts we’ll buy one online like Amazon and then we’ll just I’ll just push you around Japan be like this is my adult baby like [Laughter] [Music] Jack like Robin Williams as Jack I just yeah this is my daughter don’t mind her she looks like she’s an adult but she’s actually two Frank they just grow like weeds there huh nice oh the sun came out it is hot and humid very very nice so pretty Ali with the kindergarten hat with the little yellow kindergarten hat I can imagine that imagine living in that apartment building right there I wonder how much rent is and they have the the greatest view of one of the most famous gardens in Tokyo this Iris Garden uh this is a sh Yanagi uh this is kind of like a hanging type of tree very famous to see in a lot of uh Japanese art and beautiful gardens yeah shid I think means in Japanese like like drooping hanging if I’m correct my vocabulary is not so strong um seriously awkward how are you doing don’t push yourself too hard Cory yeah I’m going to try to stick in the shade uh we do need to get a drink somewhere I don’t think they have um vending machines in this Garden but once we get out we’ll get some like a willow Kelsey how you doing yeah it’s exactly like a willow tree um mine says Cory do you have a drink yet not yet not yet uh someone get this man a vending machine stat yeah someone roll a vending machine up to me on a hand cart please let me um let me go around the The Edge over here I’m so glad we have signal reception here plenty of water that’s true let me just put my head right into the the thing oh there’s a vending machine right here what do you know what do you say uh I see some mug we want some barley tea this is really good for hydrating um just looking at what else they have they do have skull this is like a peach soda um coke uh Aquarius which is like a energy drink not energy drink but uh like Gatorade it’s a you know electrolytes and stuff coffee there’s Sprite look at that can oh my God real gold uh don’t see these so much in vending machines anymore chill out it does have hemp extract it’s not quite CBD but it claims to have similar um effects of CBD yeah ice cafeo ice ice cocoa drink um I’m not going to drink any of this stuff I’m just going to go straight up for the the barley tea all right don’t jinx it yeah I’ll try not to um how much is that 130 let me get out my coins my coins ah I hope everyone has a drink too let’s uh let’s do this mine summoned it for me yeah you know when you start talking about it you start summoning it out of The Ether into existence and here we go about to have ourselves a nice 600ml bottle of mug barley tea um let me try to find a little Co there’s like a shady spot here people can come and sit and take a look at stuff they do have some uh local artwork of irises so you could see that uh back in the clay says skull used to only be available in kushu really I did not know that dropping that knowledge um over here they have replica print like famous Japanese UK [Music] prins and there’s even a really really old photos wow they they colorized it just a little bit that’s a old photo of the garden and here’s an even older one there’s a a woman in a kimono in a Rick Shaw being pulled around that’s pretty cool huh this place has a lot of history so oh there’s a lot of kids okay turning there’s like a like a preschool field trip you can see them walking over there I am going to stay away from these people I’m going to go over there I see some benches over there let me go in that direction I hope oh God are those kids going that way too no they’re not okay looks like less people over here too I smell children are you a witch yeah so there’s a nice little Pond here there’s some lotuses and stuff inside very nice yeah but we’re going to um we’re going to try to enjoy this uh bench by ourselves hold on one second Aquarian Soul how you doing all right yeah it’s it’s hot I’m sweaty I’m sweaty a I might be um yeah many children it’s good though like you know th those kids like if if I was in preschool or something like that cuz those are all preschoolers um if I was in preschool I would want to be taken outside like to a park to a garden and see flowers learn about nature learn about beauty um cheers guys come by Cory ran away from Kid zombies it’s true oh I spilled some that’s not good oops on the bench too I don’t have any tissues um it’s just a little though excuse me I’m just trying to hydrate it is H it’s very warm now very very humid okay so we’re going to continue this we’re almost finished with the iris garden and then we’re going to start just venturing around the side streets the alleys and stuff okay we’re going to get into the thick of it cuz this neighborhood has some pretty cool side streets and alleys and old houses and stuff so uh let’s turn this around um udatsu asks uh how did the whole moist thing come about yeah so did you see my moist family I am moist family shirt this shirt has been discontinued but um it basically started uh back at like the beginning of the pandemic or it might even it might have been like right before the pandemic um live streaming around Japan it was wintertime and I would go to the convenience store on live stream here on YouTube and um I would basically buy you know like nikuman like a a steamed pork bun or you know some other thing Coro you know different uh food that is already heated up uh right next to the register inside of the convenience store and I would eat it on stream and I would show everybody like up close like when I open it and there’s like steam coming out and stuff and everyone was like wow it looks so moist and like you know famy chicky wow it’s so moist it’s juicy and then uh it just kind of became like everyone started calling it moist and then um I forget who it was but uh they said something like yeah moist fam moist fam and then it kind of just stuck and then so we were like yeah we’re the moist family and um it is what it is it’s pretty funny I think I know there’s some people that don’t like the word moist and you know it is you know whatever you’re you’re you’re free to like it or not like it but um you know we we’re pretty lwd here I think um from time to time I’m a very lwd person I make I make all kinds of sexual innuendos and jokes all the time if you guys have been around on my channnel long enough we’re talking about sucking balls and other things like it’s just adult humor you know what I mean I don’t know I’ve just I’ve always been like that so so yeah moist just kind of came about and now moist is a controversial word yeah there I mean there’s some people when they hear it it’s almost like like nails on a chalkboard they’re like moist and then they like freak out it’s like oh God I’m so sorry um but I think uh most of us here yeah moist chesticles we got to you got to take care of your moist chesticles Sasha um anyways so that’s kind of where it came about and that’s how we started using it more uh more and more and that’s how the moist V came about and yeah so anyways a little history for the last like 5 years on this YouTube channel yeah there we go okay so let’s uh finish up looking at these two little areas here there’s uh some nice Pond action some nice Iris action here as well uh John says now moist means hydration that’s true because of global global warming climate change it’s more about yeah the lore the channel lore uh there’s some um lotus flowers blooming I’m I mean technically there’s a lot of things that could be moist right cookies um you know velvet angel cake or whatever it’s called I don’t even remember um red velvet cake can be moist um my armpits and my grundle can be moist um wet Q-tips my bed because of the humidity butth holes exactly um last night it was 92% humidity um my my bed felt so wet I had to keep like sitting up and then touching it with my palm I’m like did I spill water here cuz it was so damp like it was so humid it was very uh uncomfortable to lay in it felt like I was laying on a wet cold bed yeah come for the flowers stay for the lore yeah and if you if you do want to uh stay for the lore and enjoy the channel and like seeing this kind of stuff you know hit the Subscribe button um if you’re already subscribed just hit the like button um it definitely helps out the channel it’s free to do it shows a little support you know what I mean a little a little support get a dehumidifier it doesn’t really work cuz my apartment is not insulated very well so like um like it’ll just always come in like moisture is always going to come in and in the winter time is just going to always be dry so yeah it’s kind of a an annoying thing um let me look at some of these These are really pretty well look at that that’s so nice it might help yeah um it’s okay I’ll survive I Will Survive so um yeah that’s it for this Garden uh wow I see blue skies we’re going to um head out I’m going to try to avoid running into these kids cuz I see them kind of spread out all over the place I think I need to uh oh they’re going into this Center area there’s like a grass area and they’re going to I guess sit down and maybe do some kind of uh something some kind of event oh there’s something I wanted to show you guys it’s right here these trees these are um this is a Japanese Plum and they are gorgeous look at that Ley how you doing nah no worries no worries please don’t apologize for being late sat yeah so these are kind of everywhere yeah look at that these are Japanese plums so nice they’re they’re they’re small yeah but they’re uh ready yeah I don’t know if they’re going to take a photo or what I don’t think they’re having lunch here the most beautiful plums ever uh Italo Gomez how are you says are the locals that take care of the park uh I think there’s like probably an association here that uh takes care of the park and they do receive um lots of funding from you know donors a lot of companies and local businesses donate cuz this this Garden has been around for very long time um oh there’s a a butterfly oh it left so these are different flowers here that you can vote so they have numbers and over there uh oh there used to be a table here with a sheet and you could vote they did it yesterday so I actually voted but you can vote which which one is your favorite butterfly in the sky take a look it’s in a book it’s moist rainbow yeah very cool Garden huh guys um unfortunately there’s a a double stacked highway right there the expressway like running along the sum River uh or is it aawa River I forget which river it is but uh we’re going to head out guys um we’re going to start wandering around and um checking out some of the side alleys and stuff I like that this uh tent here is selling um parasol umbrellas there’s a lot of old women that use these umbrellas for sun protection and that’s all they’re selling is that kind of stuff have moist rainbow uh Kiki Aloha how are you Satan says a w office takes care of the park I think yeah is it the local government yeah it might be the local office that makes sense so um yeah we we came in from this road here the hydrangia road so we’re going to um not go down there again we’re just going to start zigzagging through some alleys and hopefully we see some dogs I’ve got some cat treats in my pocket yeah let’s just see what uh this neighborhood’s like this is kind of cool they have um some tiles here that show you which direction the park is and which direction the station is parasols that’s name I just call them sunbrellas I like sunbrellas actually sounds better um but yeah like I was saying um everything’s like really local here like kind of mom and pop shops uh old houses uh there are obviously some new houses too more modern houses Apartments but I’m going to try to get into some alleys some weird winding streets and we’ll see like what people have in their in uh you know in in front of their houses and stuff like Gardens and flowers and whatever maybe see some abandoned stuff old laundramat or something yeah it’s very quiet like I’m walking I’m not on the sidewalk here I’m actually walking in the street there’s like no cars let’s avoid homeless bicycle man H whatever I’m not afraid of that guy it’s just a being a weird guy um Ally says I feel like those were umbrellas parasols are like lacy not plastic no um it could be both cuz I think those are like mainly functioning as parasols but I mean you’re right it could be used as umbrellas too like specifically are parasols defined as Lacy sun shade things I don’t know I don’t know I’m not an English teacher wait a minute I am an English teacher um sorry I dropped the f bomb sometimes you got to uh there’s an old corner store here it’s tobacco it’s just tobacco and like home stuff like uh if you need like detergent toilet paper some cigarettes some cigarellos old Vibes here um I am just going to randomly go down this alley here let’s do it uh Rambo good morning I like I love the f word everybody loves the f word ah okay I know where I’m at so we came from this direction we came this way and we walked down here we walked that way to the Garden so we’re just going to going to start going down this way blunt wraps hell yeah give me some of that rizla where are the dogs where are the cats kitty meow meow very chill neighborhood it’s very quiet uh back in the clay says please remember to click the like button and subscribe thank you so much back in the clay appreciate the little support call out um wow this is kind of cool there’s like a little overgrown pathway here noticing this person’s house it’s a modern style house but it has this really old spiral staircase that’s like a god awul brown color they’re just like straight up hanging their laundry on some stuff where Vines are growing those are grapes interesting yard wow Cory’s meow noise has got my cat’s attention that dog hates you yay meow meow meow meow meow meow see what is this old building uh is this like a an abandoned Library oh it’s just like a community center who wants to do people even go here it’s just like all rusty they have it gated off like with a little blue sheet thing it’s like an abandoned Community Center two apartments I’m not sure what you’re referring to uh oh look at these tall flowers these are uh what are these called poppy all right it can someone confirm is this called poppycock it’s haunted green doors Volunteer Fire Department apartment oh the one right there it looks like it’s like a factory type of place like they might do like metal work or something I don’t know it doesn’t look like a fire department at all Holly Hawks not poppy coock Holly Hawks thank you so much aado I appreciate that um there’s like some looks like a kind of apartment here and there’s just like old furniture that’s here to be picked up to be thrown away they have stickers on it so it’ll be picked up it’s like a bunch of dressers yeah back in the day uh G hunting was a thing for a lot of the foreigners that lived here um my family included uh get a van you go drive around on like trash pickup day and they have like all the huge like furniture and other stuff piled up like that and you could find like an all kinds of Japanese antiques like in pristine condition just being thrown out it’s pretty [Music] crazy uh kiwi in the house I’m here live Ki reposting for stream watching Duty yes yes wait are you still in Japan right now you would 100% do that yeah my parents have some like pretty nice tonsu and other antique stuff [Music] um just looking down here Holly Hawk House in La famous Frank Lloyd Wright designed house oh that’s true I know that name no the Sun the blue the blue these are like more modern homes over here uh kiwi’s staying in Shinjuku now a couple more days really hoping it stays dry yeah I think it’s supposed to just drizzle a little bit this evening like maybe for an hour and that’s it I think you should be good for the rest of your stay um it was mostly yesterday and like a couple days ago because of the that typhoon which became like just a tropical depression um what is that let me go down here I hope I can go straight through this area it looks like I don’t know if it’s a dead end but um looks like an interesting little old area can I go all the way through or is it a dead end it looks like a dead end but you know what we’re going to go down it just a little bit yeah okay yeah someone’s there gardening I thought it goes through I thought that would be kind of a neat little shortcut you know just kind of cut through uh Sandra says do many people try to sell their old furniture looked into okay condition so I wonder um they do have Craigslist here and I have seen people posting some things on Craigslist uh they also have meduka uh marari or however you want to say it in the Western Way in Japanese it’s meduka and uh people sell like all kinds of stuff clothing and furniture and whatnot there’s an old house covered in Vines right there it’s abandoned it’s all boarded up oh there’s a dragon here Dragon symbol cool uh which way should we go guess we’ll go this way [Music] looks like today’s a trash collection day for this Ward I see like piles of trash over there all right where are we I don’t know where are we Acorn guest house looks like there’s a an Airbnb hostel or something here called Acorn guest house yeah I think um I’m going to go this way oh what do you know trash they’re come they’re coming to pick up the trash now it’s a lot all right um they’ve got the water bottles out here they use this to like keep cats away oh Sasha yeah yeah there’s some shady stuff going on on a lot of these like resell apps and [Music] stuff okay so it looks like I reached a main road and I see like an Alleyway over there looks kind of interesting let’s go take a look we’re building a house right there we doing okay chat yeah they’re little garbage trucks yeah it’s got to drive through all those little tiny roads that we just went through yeah toada yeah some places they have the trash like covered with a net so crows or cats can’t pick at it especially crows but yeah there it’s just sitting out uh Drake says I’d say hostile cuz it’s branded okay yeah on the sign it does say guest house though yeah some like local Corner business here the awning you know just kind of ripped up hey hey it’s the meter maids so those guys riding on the bikes right there those are like meter maids looking around for illegally parked cars Goya how you doing yeah so if I look down this street you can see a lot of the lamps and stuff they all have irises on them too it’s like every street around here looks like a shoten guy um but they’re not all shoten guys it’s just the whole neighborhood’s decorated like this was that a sneeze yeah it was that man that’s walking up there he sneezed um yeah we can see the iris on the lamps there what is this place uh mobu it’s uh wow kind of overgrown um here’s the Filipino flag Spark It’s like a night bar Filipino bar Acorn house is listed on Airbnb nice so if you wanted to come here and check out those irises or just be in this area um it’s probably not so convenient though if you were visiting but who knows maybe it’s pretty affordable uh wow there’s a shrine over there cool let’s go check out the shrine there’s a b a wall full of Bott bottles here lots of empty alcohol bottles interesting don’t walk into the sneeze Cloud yeah I’m picato so that’s why I kind of stopped for a second cuz he was in front of me when he sneezed so I just stopped and I just kind of waited for a little bit let it you know dissipate 77 Canadian dollars a night what 143 a Night clean that’s ridiculous uh right now a lot of hotels airbnbs uh hostel they’re all really expensive in Japan because the demand is super high and a lot of places are overbooked tourus it’s like tourist overcrowding um here so yeah the demand is really high so everyone’s charging out the wing wang wing wang Wazoo for um their rooms and stuff which is kind of crazy yeah so we’re going to go check out this Shrine never been here before I didn’t come here yesterday at all um not even at all in this area uh this is kind of cool the Tori they’re all made of concrete or stone actually I should say Stone they’re made of stone and then inside is a small kind of inti shrine with uh huge Fox Guardian statues on the left and right wow that’s kind of cool Elma how you doing the Filipino bar to teach him English that’s actually a good way to learn English um yeah in here I see some foxes too on the altar yeah but let’s uh so please don’t walk in this center of the path yeah you know I I I see I have heard about that and I also see a lot of Japanese people just walk in the center of the path so I I don’t I’m not superstitious so it’s okay but uh we are going to do a little prayer for chat here little fox fox Shrine prayer [Music] okay there we go let’s look over here there’s a like a handwashing station um there’s a dragon and they put some flowers here uh oh those are fake irises but there is a dragon right there foxy Roxy was my manager when I worked at Pizza Hut in college is that a porn name I am sweating guys I am so sweaty interesting old style roof here very cool and uh there’s this covered seating area underneath the the Wisteria it’s pretty nice some weird creepy frog bench made out of stone all right uh let’s keep going let’s keep going y’all should have washed first yeah there’s a lot of things I I don’t do correctly to [Music] but my intentions are not bad so I think if there’s any any Spirits or Gods you know maybe they’ll forgive me for just being ignorant but you know positive minded uh let’s go down this way appropriate shirt you uh shirt you have on then yes yes hella moist let’s see how long now it’s time to turn around and bow to yeah sorry toada yeah I don’t I don’t do it the the full Shinto way like I’m I’m not religious so I don’t do the full thing I just go in and I do the the I I donate money to the box and I ring the bell and like bow twice clap my hands twice bow once and then I leave and that’s it I don’t I don’t bow at the toy gate I don’t bow coming in or leaving um yeah I’m not hardcore sorry I’m so sorry sorry to disappoint uh oh here’s the back side of that Shrine that’s kind of cool uh your family is extremely traditional nice yeah if you see the WW that toata is typing that’s laughing um so you know in like in English it’s like he or hahaha uh in Spanish what is like like j a j a j j but it’s pron anounced hahaha uh yeah um Japanese ww lots of W’s it’s um supposed to be laughing like it’s funny um yeah I’ve seen some very traditional families uh I’ve you know growing up here some of my friends who are half Japanese uh or Japanese yeah they had like hardcore hardcore religious families like hardcore Buddhist and hardcore Shinto um it was it was very interesting hanging out with them but I am not like that I am so sorry toada does this to all streamers oh I did not know that um what is this I think this is going back to the train station but there’s some art here on the wall click the live to catch up oh yeah toada might be like a one minute behind the actual live stream maybe it’s okay toada seems very nice there’s a very colorful is this a bar or something it’s very quiet area there’s a Yakiniku hon over this way there’s like a grilled meat place I guess is this the grilled meat place the colors are God awful it’s almost like the Maryland state flag oh it is the yakin niku place right here interesting we’re down in some back alleys oh it looks like we’re coming by the station uh there’s like a preschool thing here going on so I’m going to turn my camera to the left all right we’ve reached uh some local Street here yeah this is going back towards the station some local veggies uh veggie [Music] stand the woman on the mission yeah she was she was in it to win it Marilyn mentioned yeah um to all the marylanders the DMV peeps the DC Virginia Maryland peeps yeah I I feel you I’m I’m a Maryland registered voter I’ve lived in DC like if you’re new to the channel and you don’t know much about like where I’ve lived uh what is this way oh there’s a tunnel here but it might cut out the signal let me just go through it really fast I’ll continue my Maryland story soon hello hello do okay maybe not oh there’s nothing over here it’s like residential um yeah so yeah Tokyo Paul’s from Maryland yeah I he’s from Rockville area Bethesda or Rockville one of those two yeah I lived in uh St Mary’s County for a while I lived in Baltimore I in Balmer I lived in in Balmer um and a DC for six years yeah I used to be a Ravens fan and a Redskins fan yeah like I I was all in it in a Nationals baseball and yeah I was like all about it for a while uh there’s a very cool little alley over here um looks like it’s going behind the restaurants and then it dead ends yeah so it it dead ends I see the dead end but kind of cool boo Ravens yeah uh yeah yeah um oh we’re back what time is it oh we’re almost okay you know what it’s almost time to end the stream so I’m just going to go back towards the station here I might even eat lunch at mosberger over there MOS I see MOS on my left first time you saw jellyfish in the wild was where oh in Maryland you lived in Maryland for a bit where do you know what area you never told me that before used to be a Fran Tarkington fan getting old school huh yeah so we we were here this morning um I mentioned in that soba shop yeah it’s right here so we’re back at this thing um let me go past here actually we’ve done a full loop here’s a SBE shop like rice cracker shop that’s kind of hard to see inside let’s just look at some of the the daily Japanese life here we’ve got the bridge people crossing the streets just catching these Vibes cuz uh the stream’s almost over guys in like four four or five minutes I’m going to wrap it up so we’ll just enjoy some scenery is that is that okay with you guys cuz I’m right at the station and this is how I will get back to where I live um oh there’s a very local tea shop right here very tiny mom and pop tea shop shop uh what is this uku oh it’s Pachinko of course there’s Pinko uh David says do you have any family living in Japan I do not my uh my parents live in Maryland my brother lives in La I’m not Japanese I have no Japanese blood so I have no relatives [Music] here yeah so nope it’s just me I bet they’re great right out of the oven oh my God yeah and if you get the SBE and then you kind of toast it over like charcoal fire it’s so good so so so good I was curious what’s up at this intersection um there’s a a grilled meat place right over there across the street and it’s got a huge cow logo on the side of it yeah just scenes of daily life in Japan y’all let me uh let me cross the street since I’m here and it’s green I’m just going to do a UI go back towards the station but just see what’s on this side of the street uh family cut sounds funny right family cut but this is a barber shop yeah they claim like 10minute cuts and it’s only 1,300 Yen um sometimes it it’s over I usually go to those places cuz it’s cheap but if you go to a normal hair salon like as a man and you get a normal haircut it’s like $40 $50 so those cheap family cut type of places are much more affordable 92 was a good year 92 was a good year indeed uh kavor says uh we are your family yes you guys are you guys are the moist fam haircuts have gone up yeah that’s true it used to be 1,000 yen and then they increased it like 2 years ago to like uh 1,100 00 and then last year 1,200 and then this year it’s up to 1,300 uh I think they’re just trying to keep up with inflation um this bus thing what is this about something uh what the hell can’t hear you over the pink tax yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah 50 bucks for a haircut man what the f yeah 40 it depends but like 40 to 50 bucks for a haircut um at a hair salon so it’s better to just go to those cheap barber shops instead uh and they also do women’s cuts too but you’re probably not going to get the best treatment and they don’t do like shampoo condition and all that other stuff like hair coloring or whatever it’s just straight up like cheap cut like you know what I mean yeah I know I I hear you Ally I know in the states there’s a lot of lot of women dropping like $80 $200 $80 to $200 on a on a haircut and all that I spent 10,000 Yen at Sky in Tokyo best money I ever spent all female staff nice yeah yeah so uh it has been 90 minutes now um which is usually our ending time for the stream and we are now back at hod Kitty Shen station this is the name of the garden so you know if you guys want to come here on your own um I will add the information in Google Google link for the park in the description box later today after I like you know get on the train and stuff I’ll do that but um anyways guys yeah yeah yeah yeah The live stream takes place at Horikiri Shobuen, a famous iris garden in Katsushika Ward of Tokyo that has been around since the Edo era. Many Ukiyo-e artworks feature irises from this garden! There are over 6,000 irises planted here and have always brought their wonderful colors and variety to make people smile. After we enjoy the beautiful flowers, we’ll venture around some of the old and amazing alleys in this quaint little area.
