Tokyo Day Trip: DON’T Make This Mistake | Daily Life

[Music] [Music] [Music] all right guys today we are decided to take a take a well not a walk ride the bike to the train station and then the uh train station to the beach so we are off to enoshima beach in the shown on area it’s about an hour train ride from where I’m at so this is how this is how we do daily life going to the beach it is a beautiful day so let’s go enjoy the beach what do you say guys all right typically uh to get to the Train the train station I’m not too close to a train station so what I do is uh take the bike to a pretty close location to the train station then just walk the rest of the way guess this guy’s coming through welcome to narrow Japanese [Music] roads they are narrow it’s a little warm today I left the house it was uh 31° I don’t know what that equates to in Fahrenheit I’ve uh I forgotten how to use Fahrenheit anymore so 31° it’s a it’s a little warm it’s a nice Japanese little neighborhood well I say like Japanese neighborhood like like what else would it be h i see uh came by this place earlier today they are taking down a house now for those who don’t know houses in Japan depreciate in value they do not go up in value which I don’t know if there’s any other country in the world that does that but when they uh when they’re done with them they tear down and that is exactly what we’re doing here’re tearing it down wow look at that tearing that baby down and then uh before you know it there’ll be a new one in the place o man they crunching it up I know stat side it’s not uncommon to tear down a house but uh in Japan it’s even more common it’s about a for me it’s about a uh about a 10-minute bike ride to the to where I park my bicycle and then probably another F five to uh 5 to 10 minutes walk from where I parked the bicycle to the train station I don’t know we’ll see it’s on the video right we’re walking it these little snack bars and they’re not just when when I say snack bars if you don’t know what a snack is in Japan it’s a place where usually it’s run by a by a woman and who owns the business and she’ll just kind of pour drinks and cater to the the gentleman all evening you know it’s nothing no funny business going on or anything it just a place where guys just kind to go and hang out and get treated by mama and that’s kind of what they call her I mean that is what they call her they’ll just call her mama very common culture in Japan I love it I I actually love going to snack all right and this is the train station as I’ve said before this is a this is an area that probably a lot of Japanese would call the country or inaka it’s not the heart of Tokyo and to any to me to a lot of Tokyo lights if it ain’t Tokyo it’s enaka so welcome to enaka I like living outside of Tokyo I don’t I don’t like I don’t like the hustle and bustle of the big city all righty let’s head down to the platform we got to go north a little bit to get to a couple stations to get a different train then we’re going to head south to uh down to the inoshima area we got our trusty passo card all right that’s it let’s catch the next rap uh not rapid train local train and it looks like it’s going to be here in about 1 minute good timing I think it’s here Here Comes here’s our [Music] train and you can’t beat that timing right all right guys I’ll see you on the other side I forgot to I forgot to uh turn the camera back on I was in the middle of a conversation and forgot to turn the camera back on when I when I got off a train anyway hey no big deal you guys know what it looks like to get off a train don’t you all right so now like I said before we’re going to change train directions same train line but you want to go back kind of in a different Direction kind of we went North now we’re going to Branch off to the southeast just a little bit this is a typical day in the train station near where I live I think we’re going to take the romance car actually which is a much nicer ride than the uh the radio let’s see yeah the next train foree speee got our tickets we’re going to use the romance car it’s a lot easier than using uh the regular car you get a reserve seat and you’ll see it’s a lot nicer so costs a little more but hey if you’re on vacation you don’t really care about that anyway do you all right um so the next train arrives at uh 254 almost 3:00 getting down there a little bit late today uh I don’t see a so anyway wait for the train to get here all right so we are on car 9 seat 3D and 3C all right so we look over here and we find the car number which is going to be down this way we at car six yeah just follow the numbers on the ground car number six keep going till we find just going to show you the guy standing there yeah if you ever have any questions the station staff is really very helpful and uh they’re happy to assist all right car eight car number nine and it’s got a little picture of a romance car there so this is going to be where we are at boarding point for limited Express romance car car number n this is where we’re at all right just wait for the train and then we’ll take our seats yeah I was going to show you I missed I missed it uh there was a guy asking for some questions oh I’m on the dog gone wrong side car number nine wrong side 3D C and D all righty here we go nice seats all right well it’s that easy other than the fact that I was about to get on the wrong train but uh yeah make sure you get the right turn get on the right track um but yeah got our seats car number nine Seats 3 and D Let’s uh let’s enjoy the ride yeah this is a lot nicer than just uh taking the taking the regular train so enjoy the ride guys I know I’m going to probably should have picked up a beer looks like we got a little doggy riding with us today [Music] all right good thing about the the romance car is just it’s faster it’s more comfortable like I say hey you’re paying for a little bit of little bit of luxury little bit beats a he standing in the uh on a train on a regular train like that one all right let’s enjoy the ride all right we are almost there it’s a just a it’s only like a it’s only a 30 minute ride on the uh on the romance car so yeah it Way beats uh riding a regular train fighting for a place to see a place to sit yeah this is good stuff quiet air conditioned look at that you got a nice view a lot of times you can see Mount Fuji on this train but uh today it’s a little hazy so no uh no Mount Fuji today anyway we’re almost at our stop all right we have arrived all right we are at Kat inoshima and uh yeah just a nice little short little walk to the beach from here Kima there somebody trying to say hi nice yeah there’s uh some folks trying to say hi to us anyway yeah we are at Kat inoshima and uh we’re going to go to the beach I haven’t been to the beach in a while so let’s go [Music] I always like to go see this guy I always like to see the jellyfish when I come here they’re so [Music] cool I can just sit here and chill and watch these guys all [Music] day all right let’s uh let’s get out of the station [Music] welcome to Kat enoshima I think uh I might need something cool to drink [Music] not quite like uh American convenience all right guys let’s take a walk to the beach it’s a little windy hello hello enoshima is such a cool place look at this little guy it’s a little princess all righty take the little tunnel under the main road [Music] ah you know what I think I made a wrong turn and we’ll see what happens let’s good let’s make this beine this way oh yeah this is where this is okay oh man nice day now normally well I shouldn’t say normally on a on a clear day you can see Mount Fuji from here today it’s a little hazy and uh that’s very common in the afternoons we’re going to get into some water here or not water no I’m not going to get in the water I’m going to get into some wind here so you may not hear me good maybe that’s a good thing [Music] you for all right I’ve got the light I love enoshima atmosphere it’s so so cool down here you got just uh a diverse crowd of folks from old young just uh yeah kids of all ages let’s put it that way [Music] these restaurants over here are really cool such a NE neat little Vibe there’s a there’s a hamburger shop down that way and I know when you’re you’re in Japan you don’t want to think about hamb but when you’ve lived here a while I mean as a as an American sometimes you just got to have a hamburger man such a different vibe here than up in Tokyo people just more relaxed I don’t know it’s just the beach I think anywhere you go like especially like even uh back in Florida when you get to the beach just it’s just time to let your hair down relax typically you don’t see Japanese waving and and uh being friendly like we saw just a few minutes ago but you know at the beach people just people just chill people just come here and chill out there’s usually some guys that are here like every time I come here they’re here and they’re just chilling and listening to some good music and just chilling out oh man I don’t see them today and what they’re doing here is they’re constructing they do this every summer along the beach here in enoshima is they in they construct these temporary restaurants right here on the beach every year they put them up and every year they take them down and it’s uh they’re getting ready to put up these really really cool restaurants you know some are like you know Japanese food and Thai food and American food all different types of stuff but they’re putting them all up here probably in a couple weeks they’ll be done and these will all be little temporary popup seasonal restaurants it’s pretty cool all right let’s take a walk guys I just saw I don’t know if you can see it let me’s see if I can zoom it in I don’t know if I can or not I don’t think I can I don’t know if you can see it or not I can see it I don’t know if the camera’s picking it up but you can just barely see the S silhouette of Mount Fuji off in the distance but yeah on a on a good day you can you can see Mount Fuji from here but today not so much barely you can just see the silhouette of it or I can I hope you guys can see it maybe an in post I can uh adjust the contrast and bring that out a little bit all right let’s take a walk guys last time I was here in this area uh right down down there actually I was here for my wife’s baptism she got baptized right down there almost exactly well uh 11 months ago so yeah all right uh let’s see I got a I got to ditch the shoes it’s like a cardinal sin for a Floridian to walk on the the beach with it with shoes on so all right I dropped my shoe yeah all hold on a second here let’s get let’s get it together I got my hands full all righty guys this beach is uh I don’t it’s it’s not the right name of it I always call it inoshima Beach but uh it definitely is in a Florida beach where you got the White Sands and just uh what’s upy how are you today I’m blessed you I’m sorry Hi I do hi Philippines all right some Philippines are giving a shout out all right but yeah the beaches here are a lot different from the uh the Florida beaches and the White Sands yeah but this is a really great place just to come and just chill out and hang out I don’t know who knows should I get in the water a little bit later I might have to that’s not my feed making that noise I promise I promise oh the noise stopped as soon as I stopped walking yeah this is uh yeah they’re they’re building these temporary uh restaurants like I say they do this every summer and they pop up and they’re just like temporary they’re just here I mean all along the beach here in inoshima so if you come to the beach in the summer uh here in enoshima yeah you’ll be able to enjoy a nice lunch I’m going to have to come back here in a couple of weeks and enjoy a nice lunch now this is definitely not Japanese style sitting here having a picnic on the beach um I’m going to guess Phil Filipino I’m guessing Filipino that’s ain’t nothing wrong with that anyway oh man it’s such a beautiful day I wish I I need to get my live stream working because I really want to interact with you guys and have you guys tell me hey where do you want to go what do you want to see give me a challenge or something say hey I want you to go do this on the beach as long as it it’s not vulgar and stuff and you know disrespectful hey man I’m up for a I’m up for a good I don’t want to say dare but just to have fun you know definitely disrespectful I want to definitely respect the Japanese culture and the people here yeah definitely not the White Sands of uh Clear Water beachs you got a whole full-blown in City going on here nice work guys nice work all right you see some guy jeans huh one guy jeene one guy jeene hanging out yeah another reason I like uh enosa it’s just a I don’t know just it’s just real Japan real Japanese being Japanese I don’t know can you see Fuji over there I’m curious I’ll have to wait till I get home and see if I can see this and check post and uh see if I can get it to pop out a little bit more in post anyway yeah and also if you look at look at the culture look at the culture here now in Clear Water you got all the gals or not all the gals that’s an exaggeration but the gals and you know they’re in uh thong bikinis and you know sexy and looking you know getting that bronze pan Japanese no they got their shoes on they got their jeans on for the most part fully covered just a different culture you know and that’s it you know when you when you come to another country embrace the culture you know I I I always remember I go back I I visited Mexico one time and uh hanging out on the beach just chilling out and the the six-year-old kids were coming along selling necklaces and things that they’d made to help out their family it was I was a poor part of uh Mexico and there was some other American tourists sitting right near us and they as soon as the the Mexican little kids left they were like I wish these blankety blank Mexicans would just leave us alone it’s so rude and I’m like come on you know why do you travel if you don’t want to enjoy embrace the culture then don’t travel stay home so the same goes for Japan if you don’t want to embrace the culture I’m just going to say it stay home don’t come here you know you travel for a reason you travel for a reason I need girlfriend all right buddy I don’t know where you are but I’m sorry I can’t help you out but I need a girlfriend uh let’s just see what everybody wrote here there something El written here H happy birthday somebody ‘s birthday yeah so you can see today is 2024 May 18 happy birthday well I’m going to say something you share a good day because my sister’s birthday is birthday is today too so happy birthday shout out to my sister and to whoever that was happy birthday brother sister whoever you were but yeah little bit of section they haven’t even started putting up yet I mean they’re just putting up the framework for these restaurants I don’t know if you can see the Hawks this area is notorious for Hawks I mean they don’t bother you of course but they’re just they’re just so Majestic watching the Hawks cruise around anyway and now we’re coming over to the uh kind of the surfers paradise and this is is where the uh it’s kind of where the Surfers hang out I am going to drop my shoes right here drop my shoes let’s get a let’s get a nicer view of these guys not much waves but yeah there’s no waves today I mean this is that’s not a wave that’s a ripple in the water I mean I’ve seen lakes with bigger waves in M but hey they’re having a good time nice calm day little wind so they’re having a good time but yeah this is uh this is the surfer area of the beach all right guys well you know what I am going to I’m going to chill out here I am going to sit back and relax and enjoy this beautiful beach day and then I’ll pick it up here in just a little bit look at this can’t beat it look at this view look at this view all right guys I love you catch you in a second man it is a perfect day I mean it was hot up uh up in my neighbor Hood but uh down here at the beach I mean the Cool Breeze coming off the ocean it is a gorgeous day uh little quite a bit of sun got to be care of this delicate skin uh you know I’m trying to be cool I don’t know if any you guys uh you saw my other video and stuff I came across a sign and uh what did it say is like where all men can be cool or we make all men cooler that’s what I think that’s what it said we make all men cooler one day one day I’ll be cooler one day not today though sorry ain’t cool anyway it is a gorgeous day here uh we’re just chilling out on the beach let’s here let’s get that let’s get some view behind me here how about that let’s let’s do that that’s better let’s get some view behind me man it is a gorgeous day we’re just chilling out here on the beach uh enjoying this uh gorgeous weather um before summer kicks in because you know what what the heck I don’t know what this thing is doing I don’t know why I did that this camera had a mind of its own but before summer kicks in um we’re just uh trying enough to get it to focus in on that lady okay yeah so we’re just before summer kicks in we’re just going to enjoy this cooler temperatures and uh yeah these are a blessing and uh yeah take advantage of it while we can so yeah let’s uh let’s slip it around let you guys yeah you don’t want to see that yeah you can still barely see Fuji off in the distance again I Pro you guys probably can’t see it uh but I can see it man this water feels so good let’s get on down here a little bit come on oh yeah enoshima island off there in the distance yeah I think I’ve got it like on like auto focus or Auto find something that’s why it keeps changing on me all right okay there we go these camera settings are are fixed now shouldn’t get that uh autofocus thing going on anymore let’s get out here and get the feet wet a little bit guys all right I’m going to flip it back around guys yeah coming to the beach in Japan is a lot different you’d think it’s uh you’d think it’s winter here everybody’s so fully clothed go back into the sun it might be a little bit bright so everybody will be silhouetted let’s zip it back around here yeah welcome to enoshima beach guys yeah I got to get this uh live streaming thing figured out so you guys can uh interact you got real time comments but uh anyway man it’s a good day all righty got a big old truck coming by head back to the train station yeah the view isn’t very nice right now with all these uh structures in the making but they’ll be cool in in about I’m going to guess say two maybe three weeks not there okay [Music] stiny nice couple yeah I keep hoping I’ll find a garbage can yeah good luck with that yeah one thing you don’t find in Japan is garbage [Music] cans it’s a nice little Italian restaurant right here on the beach pizza pizza’s pretty good been there thaty all right guys let’s go I’m in the mood for pizza I think I’m going to go see if I can find a pizza place and I think there’s one right over here so let’s go [Music] see Pizza Pizza all right let’s see what we got I don’t man and I don’t know I’m in the mood I’m craving pizza so see what we’ll go for thinking Margarita young sardines these are uh shasu it’s very Japanese very famous uh Japanese really tiny tiny little fish on them and uh yeah I know that doesn’t sound good for many Americans but that’s good stuff all right I think that’s what I’m going to get so that so all right so [Music] right so we’re going to go with this all right push St beer me got to have some salad very fresh looks delicious all right W all right we have an oven baked pizza let’s see if I can cut this with one hand hey he not doing too bad not too bad there how about two pieces is it cutting yeah all right good good good good all right let’s turn it oh yeah nice oven baked pizza I had to order a different pizza because for some reason or other we had to order through an app and they didn’t have the pizza I wanted on the app so what thought you say okay all right anyway let’s dig in Habano habanero all right let’s dig in here I’ll put a little Hoban Arrow off to the side I’m going to put it on the side you never know with habanero sauce sometimes they’re like um they they’re really over the toop hot and then sometimes they say they’re habanero but they’re not that hot let’s see let’s test the waters first all right let’s dig in here try this okay I got a little habanero sauce on there all right let’s go let’s give it it going good yeah this is one of those habanero sauces that’s um not like real habanero sauce real habanero sauce will blow your socks off but yeah this has got nice flavor to it not not too hot very mild so good stuff nice very good yeah I’m a folder with my pizza fold it in half look at that view what a nice view and you probably see Mount Fuji now that the sun’s going behind but it’s behind that building right there so maybe I’ll we’ll try and get a shot of it later all right I’m going to finish my lunch dinner finish my dinner all right I don’t know anyway yeah life is good let’s flip the camera around back here all right you get your Hawaii shops here we’re by the beach so of course you’re going to have Hawaii style shops and right here in katak it says Miami I don’t know we’re not quite in Miami but it says [Music] Miami let video check on F yeah I’m me you can’t really see Fuji still about the same nothing special all right we’re going to head back to the station yeah it’s on then any we’re right by the station and [Music] uh Cheers Cheers bro I like this okay this is kind of cool you just got a little little tap sitting out here lot of little eater e and places to places to eat and check out here and nobody’s really been able to explain this to me yet but the uh uh Kat enoshima station is Chinese it’s got this Chinese flare to it this is uh not Japanese it’s a Chinese flare to it so I’ll get around to the front and uh let you guys check it out [Music] yeah it’s a bustling Place bustling all right I’m going
