旧石器時代を経て弥生時代に至るまで1万年以上も続いた縄文時代。１万年の歴史です！
個性的で奇妙でちょっと怖くて可愛い土偶たち。そして貴重な縄文土器、石棒、装飾品、勾玉、石器、骨角器と縄文づくし。竪穴式住居まであります。縄文時代のお洒落な服を着たリアルな人形が迎えてくれます。ドキュメンタリー『縄文にハマる人』『掘る女 縄文人の落とし物』など映画になるほど話題の縄文時代。
また浅間山の火山の資料も秀逸です。
