Senninzuka Park ( Nagano Prefecture )
Senininzuka Park is located in the Inadani Valley in the southern part of Nagano Prefecture.
It is a cherry blossom viewing spot with a spectacular view of the mountains of the Central Alps.
The reflection of the snow-covered mountains on the surface of the water with the flower rafts floating on it is a superb sight.
Mt. Minami-Komagatake
Mt. Utsugi (one of the 100 most famous mountains in Japan)
A row of cherry trees surrounds "Jogaike Pond".
Once there was Kitayama Castle here, which was attacked in a battle with Nobunaga Oda.
The bodies of soldiers who died in the battle were buried in mounds.
This is the origin of the name "Senninzuka" (a mound of 1,000 people).
Jogaike Pond was also an irrigation pond created by filling the empty ditch of Kitayama Castle with water.
It was selected as one of the "100 best reservoirs" by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
About 700 cherry trees, mainly Someiyoshino cherry trees, are planted in the park.
In recent years, the park has been attracting attention as a campground where visitors can fully enjoy the spectacular view.
Takato Lake ( Nagano Prefecture )
Takato Joshi Park (one of the three best cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan)
Lake Takato is an artificial lake created by the completion of the Takato Dam.
It has been selected as one of the "100 Dammed Lakes in Japan".
Especially in spring, Takato Joshi Park, one of the three best cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan, is covered in pink.
You can see the whole area covered in pink from the opposite shore of Lake Takato.
Takato Kokohigan cherry trees are also planted along the shore of Lake Takato.

The Takato Dam, together with the Miwa Dam (Lake Miwa) located just upstream
is designated as a Mibugawa River System Prefectural Park and is a valuable water resource.

Lake Miwa ( Nagano Prefecture )

In spring, "Takatookohigan cherry blossoms" also adorn the lakeside.
The dam has a promenade on top of the dam, which can be visited on foot.
Rokudo no Tsutsumi ( Nagano Prefecture )
Rokudo no Tsutsumi is a reservoir located near the ruins of Takato Castle in Ina City, Nagano Prefecture.
Cherry trees are planted around the pond, making it a hidden cherry blossom viewing spot.
From the bank of the pond, you can see Mt. Senjogatake in the Southern Alps with the cherry blossoms and lingering snow.
The rows of cherry trees in full bloom reflected on the surface of the water are also fantastic.
Senjogatake is 3,033 meters above sea level and is one of the 100 most famous mountains in Japan.
This dike was built in 1851 during the Edo period for the development of new rice paddies.
Koujinyama Sports Park ( Nagano Prefecture )
Kojinyama Sports Park is located slightly south of Lake Suwa.
Around 800 cherry trees are planted around the "Tatsunoumi" (Sea of Tatsuno).
Tatsunoumi" has been selected as one of the "100 best reservoirs" by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
A long carp streamer is hung over the pond, which has become a springtime tradition.
A number of sports facilities have been built on a small hill 764 meters above sea level.
There is also a jogging course that circles the Tatsunoumi.
There is also a fairy-tale style "Tatsuno Park Hotel" and hot springs.

Kamaguchi Suimon is a water gate built at the point where the Tenryu River flows out of Suwa Lake.

About 30 rivers flow into Suwa Lake, but the only river that flows out is the Tenryu River.
As a result, flood damage has occurred many times since the Edo period.
The Kamaguchi Sluice Gate was constructed to control the amount of water flowing out of Suwa Lake into the Tenryu River.
and to adjust the height of the Suwa Lake water surface.
The current floodgate is the second generation, and was completed in 1988.
On a clear day, Mt. Yatsugatake, one of Japan’s 100 greatest mountains, can be seen.
The "Okaya Lakeside Park" has been developed on the lakeshore, with a walking path between the Kamaguchi sluice gate and the lake.
A walking trail has been developed, and cherry blossom trees line the path in places.
A jogging course is also maintained in Okaya Lakeside Park.
Along the course are rows of cherry blossom trees, and you can also enjoy the Suwa Lake and mountain scenery to the fullest.
A cycling path that circles Suwa Lake is also being developed.

Weeping Cherry Blossoms at Anyoji Temple ( Nagano Prefecture )
Anyo-ji Temple is a temple of the Honganji sect of Jodo Shinshu located in the suburbs of Matsumoto City.
It is famous as a "cherry blossom temple" with more than 20 weeping cherry trees in its precincts.
Anyo-ji Temple was founded in the middle of the Kamakura period (1185-1333) by Seinenbo Doyu.
The temple gate and bell tower, decorated with cherry blossoms, give a sense of more than 800 years of history.
Located along Route 158, a major national road, the temple is a popular spot to visit in the spring.
In spring, the area is covered in pink, making it easy to recognize the temple.
The two giant cherry trees in front of the main hall are said to be 500 and 350 years old.
They have a particularly strong presence among the weeping cherry trees at Anyoji Temple.
The giant cherry trees are reflected in the rice paddies on the temple grounds, creating an emotional landscape.
Garyu Park ( Nagano prefecture )
Garyu Park is a park located in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture.
It has been selected as one of the 100 best places to view cherry blossoms in Japan.
Mt. Iizuna ( Hokushin 5 mountains )
The park is surrounded by rows of cherry trees around the Ryuga Pond.
On a clear day, you can also see the snow-covered mountains of Hokushin 5 mountains.
It is a view from the pavilion on the north bank of the pond.
The Garyu Bridge spans the center of the pond.
There are 150 cherry trees planted around the pond.

■千人塚公園
千人塚公園（せんにんづかこうえん）は、長野県南部の伊那谷にある公園で、中央アルプスの山々を望む絶景の桜名所です。特に、花いかだが漂う水面に、残雪の山々が映る光景が秀逸です。「城ヶ池」の周囲を桜並木が取り囲んでいますが、この池は北山城の空掘に水を入れて灌漑用の池としたもので、農林水産省の「ため池百選」に選定されています。

■高遠湖
高遠湖（たかとおこ）は、高遠ダムの完成によってできた人造湖（ダム湖）で、「ダム湖百選」に選定されています。特に春は「日本三大桜名所」の一つに挙げられる高遠城址公園が、一面のピンク色に覆われた様子を、高遠湖の対岸から望めます。高遠湖の湖畔にもタカトオコヒガンザクラが植えられています。

■美和湖
美和湖（みわこ）は、美和ダムの完成によってできた人造湖（ダム湖）で、「ダム湖百選」に選定されています。「日本三大桜名所」である高遠城址公園からも比較的近く、春には「タカトオコヒガンサクラ」も湖畔を彩ります。ダムの上は遊歩道となっており、歩いて見学できます。

■六道の堤
六道の堤（ろくどうのつつみ）は、長野県伊那市の高遠城址の近郊にあるため池で、隠れた桜名所となっています。池の堤から桜と共に残雪の南アルプス「仙丈ケ岳」（せんじょうがたけ）が望め、水面に映る満開の桜並木も幻想的です。この堤は江戸時代の1851年に、新田開発のために建造されました。

■荒神山スポーツ公園
荒神山（こうじんやま）スポーツ公園は、諏訪湖のやや南方に位置する公園で、「たつの海」の周囲を中心に約800本の桜が植えられています。「たつの海」は農林水産省の「ため池百選」に選定されており、長い「鯉のぼり」も架けられ、春の風物詩となっています。

■諏訪湖 釜口水門・岡谷湖畔公園
釜口水門（かまぐちすいもん）は、諏訪湖から天竜川が流出する地点に建造された水門で、諏訪湖の西岸に位置し、天竜川の起点となっています。天気が良ければ「日本百名山」である八ヶ岳が望め、釜口水門を挟むように、湖岸に「岡谷湖畔公園」が整備され、散策道も整備され、ところどころに桜並木も続きます。

■安養寺のしだれ桜
安養寺（あんようじ）は、松本市の近郊にある浄土真宗本願寺派の寺院で、境内に20数本のしだれ桜があり「桜の寺」として有名です。安養寺は、鎌倉時代中期に西念坊道祐によって創設された寺院です。境内の水田に巨桜が映り、情緒ある景観を生みだしています。

■臥竜公園
臥竜公園（がりゅうこうえん）は、長野県北部に位置する公園で、「日本さくら名所100選」に選定されています。園内の「竜ヶ池」の周囲を桜並木が取り囲み、よく晴れた日には妙高山・飯縄山など残雪の「北信五岳」も望めます。竜ヶ池の中央には臥竜橋が架かり、北岸には展望東屋もあります。また、池の南方には弁天島が浮かび小さな橋が架かっています。
