【町めぐり】歴史と森の町 飯能(飯能河原・天覧山) 埼玉県【散策ルート】

I am at Hanno Station in Saitama Prefecture.
This time, we will explore the area around the station from here and head towards Mt.Tenbiyama.
This is the south exit and go through the free passage and exit to the north exit.
Hanno is the setting for “Yama no Susume,” so
you can also see illustrations and panels of anime characters.
Of course, you can enjoy it even if you don’t know anything about the animation.
This is a tourist information center located inside the station.
You can get a “MAP from the station” here.
The inside of the store looks like this.
There are several types of maps, but this time we will choose the Tenranzan course.
This course starts from Hanno Station, passes through Kannonji Temple, Hannogawara, Mt. Tenranzan, and Noinji Temple, then returns to Hanno Station.
As a guide, it says it takes 35,00 steps and 40 minutes from the station to Mt. Tenranzan.
According to the information staff, it will take 50 minutes.
I will generally follow this route, but
I plan to take detours here and there, and my goal will be the neighboring Higashi-Hanno Station instead of Hanno Station.
Since I will be walking while shooting, it will naturally take more steps, time, and distance than this guideline.
This is how far I have walked so far today.
3847 steps 2.5km.
Subtract this number after measuring the final complement or distance.
Let’s start.
I arrived at the north exit of Hanno Station.
I’m walking down Chuo-dori Street.
I passed Ginza Dori and ended up on the Hanno Ome Line.
This place still looks like Chuo-dori Street.
Right next to the Hirokoji intersection is a building called Sodegura Nakasei.
A sodegura is a storage warehouse set up next to a store.
It looks like a building that could be found in Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings.
This is the Misegura of the Ohno residence.
This is Hanno Odori shopping street.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry is across from
Hanno Hyakkomachi Park.
Souvenirs are sold at roadside vending machines.
The inside of Mise (store) Kura Kinjin is open to the public.
Hanno Textile Cooperative Office Building was built in the Taisho era and is currently a registered tangible cultural property.
And this is Yumesaika Suzukistore, one of the "Yamanosusume"sacred places.
We arrived at Kannonji Temple.
Kannon-ji is a Shin-Shingon sect temple founded in 810.
There is also a monument with a haiku written by Mizuhara Shuuoushii.
A white elephant statue is placed opposite the haiku monument.
There was originally a hanging bell, but it was collected due to the wartime metal collection order.
It is said that one of the family members of the temple enshrined a papier-mâché white elephant statue in its place.
Ema is already recommended by Yamanosusume.
It’s like a pilgrimage to a sacred place.
This is what a white elephant looks like up close.
And just below that is Hannogawara.
You can go down to the river from the stairs of the central community center.
This is what’s next.
But let’s go to the bridge first.
Go around from the south.
A red bridge came into view.
This is Wariwa Bridge.
Let’s cross.
Is it the sound of river renovation work being carried out?
The Iruma River flows below.
The upper stream seems to be called Naguri River.
It’s on the other side of the bridge.
Now let’s go down to the riverbank from the slope along the way.
You can get off from here.
The stairs of the community center lead up.
The stairs from earlier seem to extend here.
I will walk along the riverside promenade for a while.
You can see Wariwa Bridge in the background.
This is a floating bridge.
Only the piers are made of stone.
Flowing bridges are a type of submerged bridge in which the bridge girders are intentionally washed away during times of high water to prevent flooding.
I will be going back and forth here as well.
It’s a little scary because there’s a gap between them.
Now let’s go to Mt. Tenranzan.
Before I knew it, the sun was setting.
Hannou Central Park is located at the foot of Mt. Tenranzan.
The mountain opposite is Tenranzan.
Astro Boy statue.
It was completed in 1983.
This is the world’s only Atom statue officially recognized by Tezuka Osamu.
Mt. Tenran was originally called Mt. Atago and Mt. Rakan, but it
In 1883, after Emperor Meiji supervised the Imperial Guard’s spring training exercises, it became known as Tenranzan.
It’s not a very difficult mountain road, but more like a typical low mountain hike.
I thought we were finally at the top of the mountain, but it was still a resting area in the middle.
There is a toilet and a rest bench.
I’ll take a break here.
There is a notebook of Yamano Susume for pilgrimage to holy places.
resumes.
We arrived at the top of the mountain in about 20 minutes from the entrance.
There are rugged rocks scattered all over the place, making it feel rather small.
Ahead is the direction of Tokyo.
Apparently you can see Shinjuku’s skyscrapers and the Sky Tree, but I’m not sure which ones.
It is said that you can see Mt. Fuji from here, but we can’t see it well either because of the bad conditions.
Let’s take a look at the numbers at this point.
Yes, it’s like this.
From the start, it took 3 hours and 1 minute to walk 6.6 km and 9704 steps.
There was no way I could walk 3,500 steps in 40 to 50 minutes
, taking detours here and there, taking breaks, and playing Pokemon GO
. On the way back, head to Higashihanou Station via Noinji Temple on the west side.
Noinji Temple, which we are going to, is a Soto sect temple founded in 1501.
During the Hanno War, the Shinbu army made this their headquarters.
The Hanno War was a local battle of the Boshin War
between the new government army and the former shogunate army that took place around Hanno Village at the time.
The Shinbu army formed by ShibusawaSeiichiro and Odaka Junchuu placed themselves here and fought against the new government forces, but sinbu army was annihilated and Nonin-ji Temple fell.
Also, Shibusawa Heikuro, who was ShibusawaEiichi’s cousin and adopted son, committed suicide at Kaaburi Pass.
This is the main gate of Noinji Temple.
I arrived at Higashihanno-o station.
This is "Higahan".
It is served by the JR Hachiko Line and the Seibu Ikebukuro Line.
The final numbers looked like this.
Subtracting the first numbers from here, it was 4 hours and 34 minutes, 10.7 km, and 15,811 steps.
It was over 10,000 steps for 10km, so it felt like I had walked quite a bit.
So that’s all for this video.
Thank you for watching until the end.
Let’s meet again in some town.
