せとしるべ（赤灯台）
ＪＲ高松駅と高松港を中心に整備されてたランドマーク、緑と海で創る癒し空間「サンポート高松」。そのサンポート高松のシンボル「高松港玉藻防波堤灯台」、通称「せとしるべ（赤灯台）」
約600メートルの防波堤の先端にある「せとしるべ（赤灯台）」は、世界初のガラス灯台。透過性ガラスブロック1600個で築かれており、内部からフィルムを通して全体を赤く照射する仕組みになっています。
平成２８年８月、「恋する灯台」に認定。
平成２８年10月、夜の美しい灯台として神奈川県藤沢市に立つ日本初の民間の“江の島展望灯台”と山口県下関市の夢ヶ崎に立つ石造り“角島灯台”と共に「日本三大夜灯台」に認定されました。
さらに、令和元年９月には「日本夜景遺産」に認定されました。
Centered around JR Takamatsu Station and Takamatsu Port, Sunport Takamatsu is a landmark developed to create a healing space blending greenery and the sea. One of its symbols is the Takamatsu Port Tamamo Breakwater Lighthouse, commonly known as the “Seto Shirube” (Red Lighthouse).
Located at the tip of a roughly 600-meter breakwater, the “Seto Shirube” is the world’s first glass lighthouse. It is constructed with 1,600 transparent glass blocks, which illuminate the entire structure in red when illuminated from the inside through a film.
In August 2016, it was certified as a “Lighthouse of Love.” In October 2016, it was designated as one of “Japan’s Three Great Night Lighthouses,” along with the privately-owned Enoshima Observatory Lighthouse in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, and the stone-built Tsunoshima Lighthouse in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture, recognized for its beautiful nighttime illumination. Furthermore, in September 2019, it was certified as a “Japan Night View Heritage.”
