Exploring Pontocho and the Kamo River in Kyoto, Japan [4K]
Hello everyone. This time we will be walking around Kyoto again. This time we will take a walk around Pontocho and along the Kamogawa River. This is along Kawabata Street. It’s near Sanjo Station. First, I would like to cross to the other side. Here is the walking route.
First, we will aim for Sanjo Ohashi Bridge. Sanjo Ohashi Bridge has just been renovated this year. The view from here is also beautiful. Pontocho is a street right next to the Kamogawa River. The elegant streetscape of Pontocho continues from here to Shijo Street. The Pontocho Kaburenjo is located here.
It’s a very beautiful cityscape. This is Pontocho Park. It’s very atmospheric. I walked to Shijo Street. From here, I would like to walk along the banks of the Kamogawa River. The riverbank from Shijo to Sanjo is especially crowded with people even in the Kamogawa River. A walk along the river feels good.
This is the Pontocho Kaburenjo that I passed through earlier. It’s a very distinctive building. Well, this walk is almost over. I hope you enjoyed the walk. Thank you for watching till the end. Have a nice trip everyone.

今回は、先斗町の散策ですね。
先斗町は、狭い路地に料亭がたくさん立ち並んでおり、動画を見ているだけでも風情がある感じです。
料亭といえば、芸者が三味線を弾きながら小唄を唄うというイメージを浮かべますが、ここを歩いているだけでどこからか、それが聞こえてくる雰囲気になりますね。
そして、先斗町付近を流れる鴨川も、風情がありますね。
動画では、ちょうどカモたち数羽がいましたが、おそらく彼らも芸者の小唄を聞きながら、エサ探しなどの活動をしているのカモ🦆しれませんね（笑）。
また、次回の動画も楽しみに待っています😊。
