【50代京都旅行Vlog】桜と歴史が織りなす魅力満載の人気スポットを巡る京都桜観光日帰り旅🌸京都旅/行京都観光/京都桜
YouTube automatic translation. Hello, I’m “TAKE-CHAN” and I travel to Kyoto. We provide tourist information about Kyoto that is useful for your trip to Kyoto. If you like Kyoto, please subscribe to the channel and watch! This time, we will head to Daigoji Temple and Oishi Shrine, where the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
The weather is nice today, and I’m really looking forward to it and getting excited 🌸. In particular, Oishi Shrine is a place I tried to go to last year but it was closed. My one-year wish has come true! This is my first time visiting Daigoji Temple during the cherry blossom season.
It’s a popular cherry blossom viewing spot, so plan on going 30 minutes before the gates open! I got all fired up and woke up at 6am for the first time in a while (lol). Today, we will transfer to a bus from Kyoto Station. I arrived at Kyoto Station on the JR conventional line!
Wow, it’s 7:40 and he’s already an amazing person! eh? Why did I come to this place? No! ! ! I wanted to go to the central exit, but I ended up riding the wave of people. Unpalatable! Unpalatable! Even though I only have a 10 minute layover.
Wow, why are you always the one to promise when it matters? He’s supposed to be a solid person, but he’s a clumsy, stupid, and slow turtle! Wow~ [North-South Free Passage] is also very crowded! Okay, I can run! No, it’s dangerous, so calm down!
Whew, I think we passed about 100 people? It’s not that kind of place (lol). I’m nervous because I’ve never taken a bus from the Hachijoguchi bus terminal. Ah, I was left out! It’s frustrating (lol). Ah, I have to check the location of the bus stop! I think it was [H4].
What, is it that far? I don’t feel like I’ll make it in time (crying). Okay! Dash is the only option (lol). let’s go! ! ! The road is open! I thought I was running at full speed on this straight line (lol). It’s surprisingly slow and the moment I feel like I’m fading (lol).
It’s sad when you’re running as hard as you can but you’re not making any progress (lol). Let’s check it again! Hmm, it doesn’t feel like we’re getting close at all, but will we make it in time? The traffic lights at times like this are so long that it’s almost disgusting (lol).
Someone stop the bus already! ! ! ! ! This is [H1]. Here…[H2]. here,,,? ? ? What? The line suddenly became long. No way… it’s not here, right? It’s definitely here. Um, isn’t that right? That can’t be true, let’s check! [H4] Wow. There it was!
Phew, you mean you made it on time? Will everyone ride this? Ah, it changed to [Going to Daigoji Temple]! that? Not everyone rides. That was good. And it looks like you can sit down! It was worth the effort to whip my old body and run.
I’m glad I made it on time! I feel like I used half of my energy for today. It takes 32 minutes by bus from here to [Daigoji Temple]. Just the right time to recover your power (lol). Kyoto Station! I’m off, see you lateeer! We arrived at Daigoji Temple in no time.
Wow, the pink cherry blossoms are blooming so exciting! There are approximately 1,000 cherry blossom trees on the grounds, and you can enjoy them for three weeks. This is the cherry blossoms in front of the main gate. Thirty minutes before the gates open, a long line has already formed.
Admission tickets are sold at three reception desks on the grounds. The Reihokan reception was empty, so I highly recommend it! It shines in the morning sun and is very beautiful. Which is the 180-year-old [Daigo Daigo Weeping Cherry Tree]? Ah, that might be it!
It was damaged by Typhoon No. 21 in 2018, and has become a little smaller. However, it still blooms very gracefully. Next, we will go to see the popular [Daikaku Weeping Cherry Blossoms] at [Sanbo-in]. Next, we will go to see the cherry blossoms around [Five-storied Pagoda] and [Kondo].
The Toyotaaiko Cherry Blossom Viewing Parade is held on the second Sunday of April every year. Daigo’s Cherry Blossom Viewing was held by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. We are grateful that we can still enjoy it 400 years later! I want to take a break and eat some sweet Japanese sweets.
I found cherry blossom sweets at [Iori Sasaya] 🌸 Buy it now! Seasonal [Iori Sakura]. This is a Japanese sweets made with red bean paste in the shape of a cute cherry blossom. The pink sakura bean paste has the flavor of sakura mochi and is delicious! The inside is strained bean paste.
I highly recommend Daigoji Temple as you can enjoy it for the next two weeks or more🌸. Next, we headed to Oishi Shrine by bus. The Yoshino cherry trees on the approach to the shrine are still in their infancy. The weeping cherry tree in front of the main hall is popular.
The popular item here is Hanako-chan, a Falabella mini horse! She seems to be quite old, but the pink cherry blossoms suit her and she looks cute. that? There’s no mane on the other side, right? Is that what horses are like? It feels like the house is in a fixed position. So cute!
Next, let’s go to Iwaya Temple next door! The cherry blossoms on the approach are beautiful! Even so, I was surprised by the steep slope. I arrived back at Kyoto Station around 12:30. The bus on the way home was crammed and difficult. During peak hours, the first train, Daigoji Temple, may be full.
If you are going by bus, please be careful! We will have lunch at [Japanese/Nichi], which is a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station. This is a hidden Japanese restaurant. There are counter seats and a small raised area on the first floor. Looks like there’s a second floor as well.
[Grilled fish set meal] for lunch. For the fish, I chose red fish. A neatly rolled [Dashimaki egg]. delicious! [Red fish] has a deep flavor and is delicious. [Kinpira burdock] also has a strong flavor. It’s a great lunch because you can get a lot of vegetables.
During lunch time, the restaurant seems to be frequented by office workers and regular customers. It’s a wonderful shop that I would like to visit at night next time. Lunch includes coffee or tea. Sweets too! It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
I wanted to eat something sweet, so I stopped by a cafe. [Kiwami Saredo French Toast Cafe]. It is located along Shichijo-dori, a 6-minute walk from Kyoto Station. The store is a renovated old folk house, typical of Kyoto. It seems to be a sister store of the popular [saredo cafe] located nearby.
Previously, we introduced this restaurant in a special feature on lunch restaurants around Kyoto Station. I will put a link at the end and in the description section, so please take a look! It’s a French toast specialty store, but I can’t really eat that much. [Luxurious strawberry milk cream parfait].
For the photo shoot, they gave me lots of strawberries to decorate (lol). I want to pour condensed milk on it, but it will definitely drip (lol). Even though there’s no condensed milk, the cream and strawberries are delicious! This cream is fluffy, not sweet, but delicious!
After eating the strawberries, add condensed milk! Is it evil? (lol). Hmm, the sweetness has increased, and the ice cream and condensed milk are also delicious! Also includes berry sauce and gateau chocolate. I also received a souvenir of caramel rusk! It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
Next time, I want to come and eat French toast! I’m back at Kyoto Station. Kyoto is in the midst of cherry blossom season, how is it? This year, we are planning to mainly visit cherry blossom spots that we have never been to before!
There are many videos of cherry blossom sightseeing spots that I have visited in the past. It is posted at the end and in the explanation column, so please take a look. I’ve also put together a playlist. Please take a look if you like.
I would be happy if you could use it as a reference for your Kyoto trip. We will continue to provide useful tourist information for your trip to Kyoto. Please subscribe to the channel and wait for the next video. Thank you for watching until the end ♡
