“This was the second time I went out to shoot a lightning storm – a very rare occurrence in Hawai’i. When we got down there though, the storm had blown through. Slightly frustrated, after a moment I realized this was extraordinary in its own right – it was the last week of the year where I’d see the core of the Milky Way until next spring 🙂 It’s fun sometimes, when you have to abruptly reframe, when the scene isn’t what you expected or the composition isn’t obvious. Climb up high or wedge yourself in the sand. Imperfection asks for innovation. Change is an invitation leaving room for growth. #Hawaii #ShootforGreatness”
